couldn't you just remove the old paint, sand it down and then put on a coat of plastic primer? That might give the plastic enough protection for when you put on the color. Z

Your kiddin, he directed Deliverance? That dudes messed up in the head. Good movie though. Same for The Long Way Round. Our fire chief brought the DVD set in and let us watch it. Almost made me want to get an enduro bike and give it a shot. Unfortunitly I dout the navy would give me 180+ day of leave. Probably a good thing though.

If they can get this up and running in a timely manner it would be sweat. I've got an Aprilia dealer up the hill in Motta, and he speaks english. damn the inability to learn another language. Z

I have metzler ME80 on my V-star. Thier suppost to be a high milege tire and they will be on for my Around America trip. 10000-15000 miles in 30 day. The current pair have 4700 miles on them and are still going strong.

Not to steal the the thread but, I've been thinking about doing the K&N mod, and was wondering if anyone has used these things in the rain. If so, any trouble with water getting in ?

Well, it pays the bill, and it pays for school for us poor and downtrodden Best part of all it pays for the bikes and a trip around the world. It'll be paying for my "Around America" trip this summer. It's not all bad. Z

I had the joy of standing next to one of these (thier sometimes called R2D2 with a hard on ) during a test fire. Double hearing protection and it still almost to loud. Not to mention it almost rattled the fillings out of my teeth. REALLY cool though.

I've always found it helpfull to run the bike till it runs dry after you shut the fuel valve.

You know, on a whim I thought it would be a great idea to turn my Peugeot 205 into a little Rat car. The first thing done was a flat black piss can job. Great idea for anything you don't really care for, but I wouldn't do it to my Guzzi. Z
