Possible false alert! Pulled into Atlanta Motor World in suburban Atlanta to check out the Grisos -- talked for about a half hour -- went to start the V11 -- and NOTHING! Farted around with it for a bit -- then buried my pride and told the guys at the dealership what was going on. They immediately sent their "Italian Tech" -- Ben Brace -- out to see what was going on. In about two minutes, he asked if I had recently installed the Pazzo shorty levers. Yes, I said. "Well, you need to adjust this piece..." Did it. All is well. Solid dealer, to say the least. I'm definitely gonna buy a Griso from them, as Atlanta Triumph-Ducati has gone to the dogs! v50 PS THE PIECE in question was the "sensor" at the fore of the Clutch lever. I thought all I had to do was get the contact piece back in. No. Needs adjustment. Hmmm...

Ordered the PCIII... Wilbers or Hyperpro shock is not far behind...

I've gotta pull the damn tank to get a look at this tipover valve (mad tank suck), so I figured while I was in there... Quat-D exhaust is only other mechanical modification. Can stock chip be tuned to utilize this setup, or do I need the Power Commander? THanks.

They fit exactly like a Nolan. My guess is they come from the same factory in ITA...

I wear glasses, too. Nolan flip-up is my main helmet. But, for $100 -- c'mon! Flip down sunshade eliminates need for two pair of glasses. $100!! Sheesh...

FYI -- While tramping about ebay earlier this week, came across a too-good-to-pass-up deal on Caberg full face helmets. SeeMS the American distributor wasn't getting the job done -- so Caberg pulled the plug on them. An Ohio company (Iron Pony) bought all their product, and is now selling these helmets (which I only see at the local BMW dealer when I drop by to gently touch the K bikes) at $99.00 apiece. Got one. Fit and finish is superb -- and the internal sun shade is a blessing to my green, hyper-light-sensitive eyes. Just go to ebay and put in "Caberg." At this price, I think I'll buy a few extras and store them for future use. Happy shopping... v50

The first Hayabusas weren't brown -- they were COPPER. I first saw one at Road Atlanta, and I loved it. Any shoe looks "richer" in brown than in black (retail memories...). Brown is beautiful. The BROWN SEAT on the Tenni is easily its best feature. All this from a guy who is decidedly ------- not brown.......

April Fools. Some people believe ANYTHING! I owned a Centauro -- and the last thing it needed was MORE WEIGHT or MORE POWER. 'Twas a porky, long-wheelbased beast. Beautiful, but not near as much fun as the V11 (its replacement). Funny...
