  1. I was sat at Rhencullen in '02 when the Tenni raced. Watching it go thru the kink looked like it had a hinge in the middle The spectators nearby looked at each other and shook their heads Ol' Ashley whutshisname had his hands full. If I recall correctly (could be wrong) he retired with a broken steering dampener.
  2. I'm coming from an FJ1100 and I find no problems sport touring on my V11. Granted, the FJ may have been a bit more comfortable, but 8 hour days on the V11 don't kill me
  3. I'd heard Sweden was "nuthin but trees" Can you provide a route map?
  4. That would conveniently come before the Mayan calendar end of the world thingie
  5. I've always like Haga and hope he bags a title before he shuffles off to the old folks home He deserves one after losing a title to "diet pills".
  6. I thought I read sumthin about Denmark a few months ago.

    Team Jaap

Is there any update for the Team Jaap & Bros racing team?
  10. It's a shame, seeing the young'uns being pushed aside in the scrum for ice cream! It's nice to see the smiling faces of people enjoying themselves. Wish i could have been there. Maybe next year
  11. 60,000 km on my Tenni. Must be a Tenni thang
  12. Looks like the same place!
  13. www.motorcycle-usa.com "Moto Guzzi is apparently considering supplanting some of its more modern power-trains into machines with classical styling like the V7 Classic. Favourable response to the older styled machines has been marred by comments about its lack of get-up-and-go." "This would of course be the cheapest way for the factory to give the fans exactly what they want, despite initially rejecting the idea on a cost basis. Insiders are now suggesting that such a move is now under consideration, even more so when you read on below!" "While they think about that, Moto Guzzi admits that it is going to launch a brand new machine with the California moniker for 2010. The 1200cc machine will be its new flagship model, according to the press department. The original was launched in 1971 as a touring version of the V7, but based on a police specification model. Ten years later, the capacity was upped to 948 and in ’93 it got fuel injection. Expect the power-train to come from a Stelvio!"

    Welcome!
  15. Here's the Buttertub Pass north of Hawes Here's the goat trail leading to Dent Dent main street. The Sun Inn in Dent has it's own microbrewery...or at least it did when I was there in 2004 and the singletrack road up to the Hardknott Pass
  16. Thanks for the pictures!

    Moto Guzzi Monza

Something doesn't seem right. If it's an official Guzzi model, why would the factory allow pictures to be taken outside the factory?
  20. I had to use Guzzi Assistance when a rear wheel bearing failed in the Dolomites. Fortunately, this happened right in front of a hotel. They had a truck there within 2 hours. Maybe it only works in Italy
