    What

Just fill up and ride 35 mpg or 40 mpg to me, awakening the soul is what matters
  2. I'd be scared the bags would eject at high speed, if they weren't locked.
  3. One minor complaint I had (besides the seams coming undone), was the fact that, in order to lock the bags onto the bike, the key has to be inserted inside the bag. Not a problem if the bags are empty but, if it's raining outside and you packed the bags inside the motel room, well...

    Gas mileage

My gas light started to flicker at 220 km.
  5. The reason I posted was because, I noticed on the Guzzi web site that, the listed UK Guzzi dealer in Liverpool is Carnells. From what I've heard, this is one of those huge motorcycle superstores that carry 6 or 7 different brands of bikes. I was hoping to avoid such a place and maybe find a little mom & pop dealer that shared our passion for things Italian. Orson
  6. Hmmm...overloading may have been a factor although, in my opinion, they weren't severely overloaded...just filled completely. I did encounter rain several times during the 3 weeks but, I wouldn't think that would be a factor in the ripping seams. They are easily repaired since, it's just a matter of sewing the seams back but, I was hoping to see if Tekno had some kind of warranty. Orson
  7. I meant sure to using my e mail address there. I'm sure Guzzistas are a harmless lot...er...i hope
  8. sure! Thanks! Orson
  9. Thanks Jaap...there's a bit of a problem though. I work in Saudi Arabia, where they censor web sites that even hint of sex. The UK Guzzi site has the word "virgin" in its URL address and I guess thats enough to get it censored here Orson
  10. Can anyone recommend a good Guzzi shop in the vicinity of Liverpool in the UK? Anywhere within a 200 mile radius. Thanks, Orson
