the man has a point, I say Bodge point. and if you can get another rear section like that one I'd love it. as long as its reasonably priced drop me a line, it looks like a great solution.
NO way that is much too clean for a bodge, looks like actual wire connectors were used, if you just twisted them by hand and used some scotch tape I'd give it to ya.
Anyone know if someone makes a Carbon Fiber dash lights cover? just for the T cover I don't want the whole thing carbon.
not the already carbon, the black peice. I think that would look sweet, maybe better than any of the alum ones I've seen. if I could find an almost stock cover in red I'd buy it also. Maybe just paint it? ideas.
take some looks, err I mean listens

Unpacked: http://www.frankschaffer.name/Moded%20Cans%2080-88%20db.WMV
I Can't find one of the mistrals, or FBF but trust me those two are similar and much better than unpacked. I think optimally what you should have is the MG Ti set. then you'd be done.
such as come standard on this bike
they make stock 'replicas' from mistral, almost no one would be able to tell aside from the weight and exhaust end cap. seriously the inside of the lafranconi is some serious tinkerin involved.
ahhhh, all I can say is GOOD luck you pretty much have to plasma cut apart the whole pipe they are overly well built cans, best bet get mistrals or FBF but mistrals will look stock and give you the exact sound you speak of.
