Don't get me started on the tack welding nothing but monkey wrenching antics of the tuttles. Maybe if they actually "built" a motorcycle instead of assembling it from parts everyone else did for you. I know lots of ppl that can handle doing the 'flair' and bodging with similar results just need the capital. but thats why biker build off is tops for me. is it still on tho? now realize just hot extremely crazy motogp is. don't they average around 175? I mean not really but they are flying I'm sure faster than that here or there. No way? really? I thought it was every 18K I think thats what my dealer told me but maybe they were thinking of another bike and figured close enough. It sucks too I had to have mine done because of a weeping seal last season at 6kmi and it was $330. Not outragous but not cheap either and it takes awhile. Call ahead so they can get the seals and not take so long with the downtime.

I think I'm going to change to the Michelin pilot roads. The Pirelli scorpions are nice but only now they were really unstable for the first 2k or so I can lean in farther with some confidence, now my Dragons were great, but for some reason scorpions just don't seem as stable. they look nicer on the Cityx's anyway. I miss the Dragons for overall performance I think pilots will be the best of both.

They are both great ideas but its true Edge's solution is much nicer and easier to install. The mud flap looks like you almost Need to remove the rear tire to install it properly. Also those big ole flaps aint that cheap either. Edge's took 15 seconds and I moved around nothing but my magic fingers. Well worth the money but if he's out of bizness or youre in a pinch graba guard and bodge yourself to death.

I've noticed this as well. I was in the HD dealer for some Buell parts for my Guzzi. IF you can follow me. Anyway except for the customs things were at MSRP or real close to it for the first time I've seen it. Ever. I didn't see any deals or packages and a sale person did get real friendly on me. But I'm with you fernando -minimalist I want the Streetbob but with the complete screaming eagle package. me wantie.

I'm sure motorcyclist are different all over the world just like everything else, even state to state in the US. But its hard to explain you'd have to see it to understand in the upper midwest its not so appealing that harley experience.

I think the 4v engines look nicer. I know some reasons why they no longer use it but it sounds like hogwash pump some money into the bich and churn out some new ones That would make the griso near perect for me. that and LED's all around.

gonna be around 15F all weekend and no signs of a warm up. Last year I rode at least one week out of each month from warm spurts just to say I did. This year I may not be doing this. Partly I'm more of a wuss partly they have a New salt its not rocky its like a dust and leaves a haze for a long time after they go by. Also can someone tell me what the hell Farenheit it based on? did some guy just go eh it feels like... and make it all up?

the only thing I can think of, ... if it detects the signal thats hitting you.... nothing can stop it now. youre gettin a tickie. On the other hand if it happens to be a speed trap over the slow rise I bet you'll get a lil advanced warnin. They worth the money? I start school to become a police officer next month. I'll see what I can find out around here. But I know anyone on a Goose (within reason) will get off if I'm involved. otherwise I don't speed very often, can't afford it I can lose my job. Plus it isn't cheap around here they don't have one ticket they have levels. and if you are driving over 100mph you lose your license for I think its one year. This applies to everyone everywhere in MN just means I won't be doing a top speed test on the highway

I haven't experienced any hate, No fingers flown or comments heard but they (not all just 2/3rds) are complete snobs OR don't even seem to care about bikes and are in for the image only as in drive 5mi park and stand near it sipping joe or sumptin good for HD bad for my point of view I love when I meet someone who has a goose HELL I ran into a guy and he's partly in charge of the local guzzi club and we rode over to his house and I checked out his sweet guzzi's he has an old Eldo BOX STOCK. haha some know what that means plus an old old indian with the same transverse inline wha the f ever engine developed for the army. Now if I have this same kind of problem with the large harley crowd I'm gonna meet mostly duche bags, or in this area hoighty toighties. And I can't have that. WHAT I do find funny is when you have the 'custom' hand built crowd and the harley guys get blown off I've kinda seen it happen. Persoanlly if you're on two wheels then youre in the same league and there is some comradship but it doesn't mean youre on my team why ride a goose? 1-cause you live longer,2- get More Stamina, 3-impeccable communication skills. 1-waiting for parts gies you something to live for 2-all that wrenchin isn't gonna leave ya with noddle arms 3-what it takes to get anything done in MGNA and beyond

I have to go with Badmoto on this one. The harely I want the way I want it? I could get that Ducati 999R, not the 999, the 999R!!! OR a Buell AND a cruiser from any said 'other' manufac. Sooo IF I get a harley it will be Used in as close to the way I want it setup as I can find and I'm guessing 10 years from now. If that happens. Maybe by then thier attitudes and engines will have changed for the better.... but thats HIGHLY unlikely. PS anyone gets a chance look at 90% of thier 'leathers' I wouldn't want to take a spill with thier logo on me.

I love, I mean love the look and finish of the HD's I don't think they can be topped unless you talk custom or extreme. But I can't handle the folks that ride them. Maybe its better from the inside looking out but I have never met so many pompus jerks(only in this area maybe different in your neck of the woods) but they don't wave to you, don't barely acknowledge other riders they have thier mount and are in thier own world possibly thinking thier pipes will save thier lives and often are hardly paying attention to anything but the roses. I plan to rent one for a day and tak ea few for a test ride but I will need to be older wiser and possibly meaner (in this area much richer too they all sell for around 3-5K over sticker I don't know why) IMHO I just wish Victory was on the same level then my choices would be so much easier. I suppose my dream bike from them would be 30K a Streetbob or RK with the Full screaming eagle package and the 103 stroker, paint it a deep metalic blue and lots of crome. I should start one of those auto clubs for motorcycles so I can ride all those sweet rods I want to. have a Guz griso, Aprilla RSV-R, HD RK, MV F4 1000, Ducati 999, Buell XB12, BMW1200r, Benelli TNT, KTM super duke, Victory Jackpot, Suzuki Hayabusa, R1 well if I'm dreamin an R7, Triumph Speed Triple(new one), Norton 961 Commando. I think that about covers it. Now just sign up about a gagillion ppl to make it affordable and then never get to put any miles on'em But I win the lottery and thats what my garage will look like. And we'll live in a warmer state.

Well I'm 6'3" so I bet that means I'm ok with my 34-36 inseam I'll be crampt I think I smell a test ride coming on this spring I'll test both the 9 and the 12 don't want to leave something to a what-if

I'd look at getting a buell but they are much to similar to the V11 for my taste I Want something outside the box but if one fell in my lap I might take them up on it. I like the CityX but I'd take off those gay hand blasters or maybe get the 1200 soo many wants. soo little garage space(and money)

wouldn't it be just marvelous and possibly life saving if Buell was able to use the Vrod motor in his bikes? I think I'd line up to get one. the vrod is the only acceptable harley for me. for now
