Mine eat over a quart from when I got it to the next oil change they told me it had fresh oil in it when I got it (but I doubt that now) I check it ever 500mi's now and haven't noticed any drop and I need an oil change in about 1600mi's I do a change every 4-5k, 3 is excessive and 6 might be too long. I have no idea what they put in it. Maybe I should ask next time so I know.

I just Throw the bike into one of my False neutrals and then downshift to 1st or neutral depending on if I need to stop or do a rolling stop. I have to find some use for them all I don't engine brake as much as most or as much as I could I've always been a preservist in that brakes and pads are much cheaper than rings and pistons maybe its hogwash but its what I'm used to now and engine braking a Goose is stronger than the back brake and maybe I want to coast? ANYway I'm working on engine braking more now that when it got backed into and the lever was gone all I had was the back and engine to go 3 miles in city to the dealer

I'd just like to replace mine with a set of Ohlins form a bike that maybe got backed over or stolen stripped and they found a bunch of parts or the engine blew I'll look for a set of used ones and only consider it that way, My Forks work fine I don't know any better For my previous bikes were all worse even the ones I've test ridden. They are Good forks that they come with just newer ones have more Adjustability.

whats a honda 90? this a trail bike or something?

Those are awesome. But I already have some FBF's on order. damnit Ah well I'll see how the FBF's do I could always sell them on ebay and get some better ones.
-
NO well what I mean is - they had them in a better location secured enclosed and non-faulty for the application so you don't even know the bike HAS relays. I mean do current bikes use relays I've never seen the things b4 just fuses but that may be because they are not a common problem. They should have reworked it for the later bikes like they did with the tank suck. I know they use better relays now but they still go out. Just frustrating.

24/7 Topics Always Go off kilter the Tech topics Usualy stay the coarse for they have a real question or concern and 24/7 is dumb questions and recent experiences and sometimes Wimmin. I can't explain how much this site has helped me with my bike I would have spent a lot more money and still not had what I wanted. I haven't noticed any Americanizing just a few of us that Post way too often for no reason at all, Mush like this post now.

I like the Dakkar replica thats nice lookin. But why would I want a 'flat' twin there's nothing sexy bout that.
-
Imagine how many problems would never arrise and we could move on to others if they had just gotten the Relays right or had some Japanese guy come over and show them how electronics work
-
Maybe get a title in another state then transfer it? I could see it easier to do once you have to papers.
-
I know they have aluminum nuts that expand as you screw them from the outside its what I have for my barends you CAN buy the argal MG barends but I don't know what they charge or how heavy they really are.

what do you call a V11 with no tires? it doesn't matter it wont come anyway loses something in the transition but I think they have the same lists for fords chevys volkswagons bmw's and so on.

leave it to belfast to find the limit Thats the Guzzi way of life always pushing the envelope

If I got another Twin id prolly be the Aprilia RSV R. I personally thing the 1200st is butt ugly BMW doesn't always get it right THO it does look comfy. I'll go down and look at them all later this summer at my local dealer too bad that dealer BLOWS and I'll have to ride an hour away to goto a Good! dealer.

OHHHHHHH OIL FILTERS I haven't looked back and thought to myself why do you need to stock up on air filters. yeah I'm a dumbass
-
Awwwww but I really really want one. and thier financing is amazing it wont be till next season so I'll have plenty of time to stew on it. And I have to get approval from some friends(more importantly the wife) so I don't look like a Dolt on it. I sat on a Triple 1050 and I looked like a 16 year old on a mini bike. I've even been told I look too large for the V11 So I'm a hard man to fit on most of these new age bikes my large frame and ape arms are a hinderance. I'd look fine on a bulky cruiser but I'm not even looking at those until I'm over 30 at the earliest. MY Goose will Not be playing second fiddle I'll still ride her to work and most trips I want a rip roaring sunday bike that has room to travel.

I may have found the second bike I've been searching for, Not outragous, generous riding position (respectively speaking), Reasonable price(agin Respectively) Naked Like I'm also Drawn too from a Company that is more stable than the Sands Hotel AND the biggest selling factor is that it will be able to come with large touring bags almost identical to the Adventuer series out now. 160bhp 94flt lbs (and can be imporved with open airbox and new exhaust) Only 15kish tho I know there are some BMW Buffs floating around on this board anyone have some thoughts or experience? I know ugly to one is a jewel to another. Of coarse I'll have to sit on it and take it for a spin(if they let me) b4 I drop that kind of bank on a bike but I think I'm in love,.... for now

Don't go too far with those parts I may need a few but I hope not
-
Just get the Pods and be done with it or at leas the Reuseable oil bathiable K&N for the stock box.
-
I wouldn't risk it, better save your money and get whats right than get whats wrong AND then whats right. I bet you'd have to reprogram the power commander so it works right with the ECU and engine settings. NO thank You. Bite the bullet and order one up. OR just have your bike tuned at a center and don't change anything or when youre finished with all engine mods. (if thats possible)

Another one Bites the dust, Hey Hey, Another one bites the dust Oh OH, we're dropping like flies. its starting to look like you need two gooses or have a backup plan reminds me of my RC hobby need two cars just to be safe one is always running I'll keep mine for awhile but Dammmmmmmnn Monkey!

ITs got to be something about the black and gold, like callison said black and silver doesn't look as chique. I like all silver but I had really wanted the Cafe sport with the dark grey black and gold but alas, I couldn't afford the 14,500 they wanted for one then. At least I got a goose and once I get the Replica Coppa paint job and pauls CF tail peice I'll be in like flint.

MOTORRAD mag. writes Crap Rating on the SCURA R
DeBenGuzzi replied to Alex-Corsa's topic in 24/7 V11
So they are going to make the Griso? Throw a new style of pipes on that badboy and you'll have sumptin only thing I don't like is megaphone style and look what it has. If they make that I might be persuaded to get one when my V11 goes tits up. Maybe -
GOOD God, thats it I'm swearing off wheelies on this bike. I'll wait untill I get a sportier bike and leave my front wheel on the ground. Thats a WHOLLLEEE lotta money.
