  1. unless youre nemo, HOLY SHT was his bike ugly I don't care who ya are, anyone know where a pic of that went? with the purple exhaust headers and all
  2. I liked silver best till I saw a rosso mandello and couldn't find any so I slowly had mine outfitted the way I wanted, good on you for painting her up nice and proper
  3. yeah but the buell blast is different from the cyclone also, its not as wide and the center hump is taller, looks more like a mohawk in a way, I didn't care for it but if you like the thruxton screen you might like it, the nice thing is the parts are dirt cheap and readily available just paint to suit. I'm sure whatever you do will look nice I was mostly just tired of rocks and bugs hitting my gauges be sure to post pics of whatever you do!!
  4. I would give my first born for zeb's ride, its sooooo sweet
  5. you can thank google and my weak memory of what is needed the x1 lightning 99-02 and the m2 cyclone used the same flyscreen the buell blast one is slightly narrower and has a higher center hump and this works on nearly ANY round headlight application and is really inexpensive when you look at it, hopefully HD still stocks all of this 1 . Primed windscreen: 59772-97Y $42.95 (Or on my bike I used a Lockhart Phillips carbon fiber flyscreen: 427-1152 $84.95, think I only paid $50 for some reason) 2 . Right windscreen bracket: 59745-97Y $3.75 3 . Left windscreen bracket: 59746-97Y $3.75 4 . Rubber trim: 53773-97Y $1.25 (optional, but looks nice) 5 . Well nuts (4): 59736-94Y ($0.60 each) $2.40 6 . Nylon washers (4): 7047Y ($1.00 each) $4.00 7 . Windscreen bolts 8X3 (4): AN0806.3CBL ($0.45 each) $1.80 8 . single sided sticky foam strip with decent thickness so it doesn't rattle or rub on your instrument cluster I hope this helps
  6. thats the problem I have with parting with my V11, I've thought about selling it for the last 2 years but just can't pull the trigger unless it really went to the right home so I just love it and its hard to let go, worst comes to worst I'll get all the seals redone and "winterize" her for a few years until my kids get older, I'm also growing very attached to my RSV and can understand how a man can cheat and then not want to stop and keep both
  7. god damn you got it rough overthere with bikes with regards to taxes and rules, here in MN you can use all the special lanes, often there is special parking and all for $14 a year for road tax on a bike no size restrictions unless you have a scooter plus noise and emissions are of no concern. but then either is protective gear I guess this is the land of the free except california
  8. a few have used the older buell flyscreen, might be super hard to find in the future with them going tits up and all but there was even a tutorial for using one as it works for almost any round headlamp fitted bike, mine looks pretty good I think I notice the tailpiece isn't on that one, well it is now just was out for paint, must say too if you could just slap a seat on it the bike looked pretty badass all slimmed down in the tail like that.
  9. lots of good stories http://www.dontevenreply.com/top.php http://textsfromlastnight.com/worst-nights/ do any of you even text? http://www.hotchickswithdouchebags.com/ mildly depressing but somewhat entertaining like the "real world"
  10. I get more great links to waste time and amuse myself from here than ANY other site I follow, you guys are like GOLD to me
  11. what about mivv?
  12. they take it down? I don't see anything other than a pic of two cans and this aint the hooters section
  13. I would be more surprised with his money fame and power that he NEVER cheated on his wife no matter WHO he was married to, I wouldn't believe it so this comes as no surprise to me, also with the way other PGA players are acting it might be common practice to have a 19th 20th or hell maybe even a 21st hole at every tour stop, lucky rich bastards
  14. WELLL, he does have a four wheeler parked in his kitchen and a yamaha warrior parked in his living room, I guess alcohol and foreclosure mixed with a big dose of redneck, this seems like something Tx would do, where did that big beautiful bastard go?
  15. they probably thought dad did most of the work which I doubt, but thats judges for you, just like in a science contest the best one doesn't always win because they think the parents did it.
  16. I only hope my kids turn out half as smart as your son, seriously he's 11 and could totally KICK my ass in a bike build off, I mean destroy me
  17. god damn SAME HERE, and how is that paul smart? I always found them beautiful but after sitting on one at the bike show it felt like a torture rack after 10 seconds
  18. in this economy? evicted or foreclosed is my guess, good for him.
  19. ebay doesn't have much, rare bike and all , what was the name of that guzzi spares place? reboot or something
  20. well yes the bare metal is ugly but you can anodize it or powder coat it so thats not of concern. Hmm too bad its not more widely used unless something is actually wrong with it, like an astronomical price.
  21. this is more of a BFG clock if I ever saw one about time clock
  22. http://mpg-mfg.com/ apparently a magnesium alloy stronger than alum and even lighter that doesn't corrode or ignite, wtf, why wouldn't more companies such as say ducati or aprilia use something like this over regular magnesium? is it more expensive than gold? I don't see any prices or even too much info on it but just watched an old video from jay leno's garage and it looks like the real deal and should be used over titanium and magnesium.
  23. LOVE it, shoulda put it in show us your links thread
  24. is one of them a shriner???
