I just did mine and go figure the previous owner had already rerouted the hoses and the vac system was all just sitting there doing nothing so's all I had to do was cut zip ties and take all the crap that's been doing nothing for who knows how long and toss it aside. I also noticed my tank overfil hose had come off, stupid little zip tie I should get in there with a metal clampy thingy.

yeah I heard the Green adds 10mph, but the Silver engine Adds 10 ftlbs of torq so its a toss up

THATS IT mine are coming out. what do you do with the hoses eactly now? connect them together or something? or just block them off entirely?

There are plenty of reasons to own a Guzzi to be different, to have about the best all-arounder out there. Believe me I looked everywhere and took notes. The sound the Feel they are all a little unique I can find many reasons to own a Guzzi its the probable cost of the bike and then some in just upgrades I've never understood I'd rather leave the soul alone and just tweak some bits . Really I wish something would come perfect from the factory but thats asking too much

I say get the Red frame and the mods. less to do and they are very similar. 5000mi is nothing. I got mine with 3800 and have put on 5k easy they say break in takes a good 10k

it does look like a super charger but the question I have to ask is WHY? good god the expense time and fabircated parts you'd need. let alone everything else like mapping it out(would be fun tho) and the added weight and power on a bike maybe not built for that kind of thing. Some ppl have 2 problems I wish I had. Too much time, and Too much money. I'd love to see and hear the bich tho.

I got pirelli Scorpion Syncs got them from drag specalist for aprox $200 the pair. they come standard on the new buell cityx I think. They look like motard tires I likes'em. I've never been to bettys where is that? and I goto Joes java hut sometimes and porkys once so far. I'm always looking for other guzzists.

Oh btw I sat on the 999 and 749 they are both very comfy Identical to me(well while sitting not moving) I'd get one if I had the bank Black with the exposed clutch and some billet accents., go for it.

I'm 6'3" 220 and I rode about 200mi yesterday so they are very comfortable machines. they don't look it. But they Really are. Could use a little more sunk in tank to grab on with the legs but the seat in ample the bars could be higher but I have the clip-os. Good choice on the Rosso. and welcome.

They replaced mine at the dealer looked like they just took the tire off and smacked out each bearing then smacked in the new ones. Looked like a peice of cake just have fun getting the rear tire off that didn't look as easy. BTW don't go with Guzzi replacements they are $80 each the better longer lasting(so they say) replacements they got me a mere $15

Aprilia Mille, Or the Honda Fireblade, Or the Kawi ZX10r, Or the Triumph Daytona I've noticed the Daytona and Mille fit the larger asses better. But thats just me. I mean have you seen the movie Fargo its all about Minnesota and our outragous stereotypes and that is much much more recent than the great white north. Actually I was under the presumption that the US gets most of its oil from africa and south america yes and canada we also produce some of our own like texas(almost tapped I'm sure) and Alaska. Its most of europe that relies soley and the lousy middle east which affect the global market. no, well I don't know I think it only makes that super loud clatter with the clutch out in neutral(on the ducs) then I'm sure when its in shifting. could be wrong haven't ridden on.
