I'm going to be putting on the Pirelli Scorpion Syncs here in a few weeks I'll give everyone an update into if they are anygood. I like the looks but can they walk the walk.

What about prolong (or anything of the sort) is that stuff a good idea in the car or the bike? I've been thinking about throwing it in the bike and tire sealants? like that green crap? why would I want to add more weight to the wheels. Maybe throw it in a harely they have very little performance concerns and then you have one less thing to look over when it breaks down on the side of the road.

I don't know if anyone gets Showtime in europe but they have this little show hosted by Penn & Teller called Bullsh*t and all they do is debunk such urban myths and common misbeliefs. its one heck of a brilliant show, nothing but facts with lots of laughs and almost no tact. I watched one on the bottled water craze and 75% preferred tap water in a blind taste test. At a restaurant ppl were paying $7 a bottle for water they thought was special, (yeah specially filled with a garden hose out back) they've debunked Fung Shui, Male Enhancements, Landfill crisis, Second hand smoke, Psychics, Alien conventions, baby mozart crap ect. If I can get the show on DVD I'll look at burning a few of the excellent segments for ppl and, or just inform where to pick it up.

If it had Dual outlets I'd probably be more inclined to get one. Someone should ask and see if they can start whipping them together that way if they do it on a different model.
-
This is very true, now if they sold that tailpeice with a Blinker kit I'd be on it like white on rice, after I saved enough money to be able to afford it that is. I'll lay off the analogies now.

Well sorry for asking, I'll just make something up I think is good. But you should throw up a benchmark to be a goldmember like $20 or 20euro if you will anything below that say thanks, dunno possible suggestions.
-
I'm planning on becoming a goldmember before too long. Whats a good donation Jaap? I've gotten so much from this site a few schillings won't hurt me.
-
I'd be rather interested but Really if they made something similar to the stock one but a lil smaller and LED I'd be on it like MJ on a ten year old. oh sorry thats bad I mean like a etheopian on a hot pocket.

I'm getting a Seat! I'm getting a Seat! It was easy, won't take very long, Only had to tell the Ms's the corbin is as good as sold. Won't have any need for it

I've seen worse, no need for apologies, it breaks up the routine

I'm edging up on 10,000 miles here real soon and the only leak I've had was a weeping Upper Fork Seal that cost me a pretty penny, Although I've looked the bike over after everytime I ride and no problems, In town rush hour, Across town or halfway across the state, I hope this means that these problems occur in different models and are rare. I don't know if I'd have the stomach to keep fixing oil leaks all the time. I also wish there was someone near by I knew of that could tune up my gear box and cut out some false neutrals but I'm about used to them now anyway. Maybe that bike was built on a Friday and Luigi went out for drink the night b4.

I can't see how big of a deal it will be until you get back. You will need to visit your local DMV and have it titled in the US shouldn't be a big deal. but then buy tabs and pay taxes on it (BOO ) So expect to pay the sales tax and more for a title and tabs. I don't know if you will save a lot of money on this or not but good luck.

Well just as solid as Guzzi, maybe not quite as solid mechanically HD has more problems than anyone over the years just been around as long. I wish they had a better finish on them but they are so cheap and flimsy. I'm glad you made the right choice I chose my Guzzi over a Triumph Sprint ST, which I may still get one, that or a Aprilia Futura or MAYBE look at a BMW if a good deal stirkes me. I need a Good touring bike and My guzzi just isn't quite there on the distance, All through intown great, small jaunts great, twisties pretty good, anything else leaves it a little lacking with no bags or a more relaxed riding position(I know the newer ones have raised bars tho)

Other than "Running out of things to Tweak" I really like the stock wheels. Always have liked that style. NOW if I had the money to throw around and I really REALLY loved this bike and wanted no other in the garage I'd get the 10spoke but I mean wheels are so far down on my list right now, I'll get there.

I agree Mountians More Character than the wimpy Buell, Even If the 1200 can be faster. I don't need tickets, BTW the best sound I've heard on these bikes is with nothing but the crossover almost sounded like a slighty higher pitched harley IF only, If only Mmmm straight pipes, ...... Nah I'll just get the Ti's
-
I've heard one of those similar Exhaust on a Buell, Funny the similiarites in these two bikes, Anyway I thought it sounded nice and loud but kinda of tinny like ppl had said. Nice and loud tho. So Really to each thier own the more I find out its really what you are comfy with. I like the look of having pipes coming out the bike thats just me. Although I've seen those shorty small little pipes that replace the crossover and the mufflers, One small side note when I get a PCIII where do I find maps for my bike? I'll have the Mistrals Stockxover and pods I haven't seen that one around. Next year I'll have the stucchi or ferracci crossover but I haven't seen a map for that combo either its like all the maps have at least one stock option on it.

Pics are worth a Thousand Words, Unless its a Bitmap then its way to huge and you could probably post 2 thousand words.

what about all the ppl that wear Open face, or half helmets I think they are taking a Bigger risk, or the no helmet crowd. I like the modulars I can flip it up in slow hot city traffic where the risk of injury may be higher but serious injury should be lower, and I keep it down 90% of the time. I would go for a Standard full face helmet but I have a Huge Melon 7 & 5/8ths in hat sizes so I need an Extra large or more in evetything and its hard to get over my big face and my hair isn't always the shortest so then my hairs all over the place, Modulars you can put it on like a half helmet front to back instead of straight down or back to front, just close the Face and youre ready to race. Really We don't have any Helmet laws here so I don't even have to wear one but with that issue I don't have drain Bamage. Its commical we have required to wear seat belts at all times or get a ticket in any auto, But on a bike you could wear a Speedo and eye glasses and youre maybe not looking the best but youre not breaking any laws.

I'm glad someone gave me the 411 on this because I had seen it b4 and pondered doing it if I came across a place that had it. But NOT now. waste of money. Thanks for the heads up. They're just trying to steal from the ignorant and the uninformed. Why don't we just get Magnesium rims and fill the tires with helium? hydrogen? that could redice some weight OR, OR how about michelins new Tweel? screw inflation or flats.
