  1. I wish there was a motorcycle helmet super store, ALL the local dealers I've been to and I think its all of them don't stock chit for helmet, a few here and there its like WTF? just because there is no helmet law in this state doesn't mean I do not want one. Most dealers have 1-3 companies and usually slim on sizes too. not a fan of suomy, nice and light but doesn't even feel safe and pushes on my chin, Nolan has been the best but I know there is something out there better for my 7&5/8ths round melon, For hats I have to get new era 59fiftys or they just don't fit my lid. AGV fit nice but it was a half helmet and all they had to try on last time I went looking, most others like shark Bell HJC KBC all suck, I haven't been able to try a schuberth or shoei or arai as I really want a modular helmet too, its quite difficult and uncomfortable for me to pop on a full helmet on my huge melon I have to leave the modular open and roll it onto my head then close it. I'd like something quieter than nolan with similar or better fit, WHAT DO I NEED?
  2. thats it, you have to be cheating, come on, its not fair when he gets to hold a little card with all the answers on it
  3. I hear they handle for shit but go fast in a straight line, not what I'm looking for and not as much storage as you would think, I mean it has a decent sized trunk but I think it only holds marginally more than say a MP3 or silverwing thingy. as for the vstrom I'll consider it but they're not as cheap as you would think, at least not a somewhat newish one with bags, I kinda like the Caponord over that one with similar setups, rotax mill is SO so nice. If the right vstrom fell in my lap I wouldn't complain tho. The SV650 would be better over the MV in a lot of ways but going in the wrong direction my RSVR goes fast, too fast, I'm fine with that I want a nice smooth comfy cruiser with storage. I only considered the MV because shit its an MV!!
  4. ooOOo a jetski now there is an idea, lol, NOT. no chopper, I don't have a lot of bikes I want or I like I've just always admired MV Agustas problem is company is tits up and a simple only fits the MV bolt costs about $110 each. I mean really my field of options if they pop up are Breva1100, Ulysses, Caponord, or maybe a Victory V92 all with bags and shields.
  5. yeah, don't worry too much I'm starting to get turned off to the whole idea, parts with astronomical price tags, weird fueling and electrical problems and basically a defunct company, BUT I am not turned off to the Ulysses even with Buell being closed down because that 1200 harley mill has a part supply the likes of god has never seen. I may go Capo also, nice bike cheap, lot of the same parts as my RSVR I should just sell the Guzz to you for a sweet deal is what I'm thinking
  6. HOLY chit, no wonder he hasn't fixed it up at all. I like the idea of spinning it up and shifting a lot in theory but I know in traffic I would get really pissed off. I will ponder these thoughts
  7. OMG, antonio gets a point??? what is the world coming toooooo, POINT AWARDED
  8. I KNOW, I'm like that, funny story, went into the dealership about 6 years ago to buy a sprint ST with bags and a wind screen, walked out with a V11sport, so some things just don't make sense. and hell yes If I didn't like it I'd try and trade up on a griso or breva, I've always wanted a MV ever since I saw one at the dealership when I bought the V11 OVER the triumph and couldn't afford the 23K price tag. Its similar yes but a whole diff beast and still thoroughly italian and low maint compared to a duc or even some other i4's, dealership network is even more scarce than guzzi which is a downside but hell it would just be a ride it, change oil and not think about it bike for commuting and tooling around town, RSV for weekends I have bike purchase ADHD. blog forthcoming.
  9. http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191081 its been dropped and rashed and got totaled because the engine case has a scrape on it but overall appears to be a trusted guy and only cosmetic. I don't care about those rashes as they can't be seen without being pointed out and I just love to ride, I've always liked and wanted an MV and even more so the 750 because I don't need to go crazy and I feel like they're more reliable than the newer ones(probably cheap insurance too), he only wants $4250 so that is about on par with my Guzzi but he lives in PA I know you're all pretty biased but also reasonable, I'll be back on a Guzzi some day if it happens I know that much but I also fear I'd regret losing my girl after awhile, like my first love, but this newer model is pretty damn hot
  10. I test rode a Ulysses and if they got the rider comfort kit installed so when the fans kick on they don't melt your right leg I think I will get one, with bags and a taller screen and make it my hack, I mean why not if its dirt cheap? and that 1125R FOR THAT PRICE? I'd almost want to buy it part it out completely and dump the motor into my Aprilia, Its a rotax and I'm not sure if it would even fit but I'm sure they're similar then I could have the 1125 instead of my wimpy 998 sized motor, its not wimpy I actually love it but someone looking to do more could do that and maybe even a super charger.
  11. nah, that was last year and I only entertained the Idea I didn't actually offer it up or list it, I'm undecided, if the right person or offer came around I'd jump on it, not holding my breath tho.
  12. I listen to Rage, who doesnt? who is henry rollins? you can't play MGMT's hits note by note without a synthesizer and LBC word up!
  13. funny thing is I've love to trade for a breva or a griso, something I would ride more, griso has probably less amenities but just oozes cool and the breva has most of what I'm looking for, good wind protection, bags and great ergo's in a solidly built simple machine. I hope to always have some kind of a nice cruising guzzi.
  14. this looks REALLY promising, too bad I wager it'll be about the same price as the 1098R
  15. Love my nolans, wish they were lighter but I feel very safe in them, modular and all.
  16. I doubt it, I've ALWAYS wanted a ducati and that fits the bill BUT the repair bills are so damned high I shutter at the thought. I think I would lose sleep at night wondering if the belts are going to break
  17. FGHIK$^W#%YGDFG, I've never seen ANYTHING like that and I've done a LOT of google'n9(and other means) I'm not even going to try on this one
  18. THAT is a good idea. I might just do that, I like KLR's also in idea but I'm anti kawasaki, I can't really figure out why but their bikes put me off like margaret thatcher on a cold day.
  19. gawd damn, I'd give you a point if there was a way to, you're ridiculous Guzzi rider, is there a bike you haven't heard of?
  20. well it has FBF cans and x-over not the crappy H-over they made, PCIII, Buell CF fly screen, CF chin guard(super unobtanium) rich maund seat, custom tailpiece with LED brake lights and fancy little turn signals, Edge guards, gel grips, manic salamander barends, Joe head guards, custom paint, billet brake and clutch caps, CRG levers, and all the original body work. I think that is all.
  21. I need something I can put bags on and not get blasted by the elements. I'm looking Breva1100 with bags, I'm so flopping back and forth on what to do these days I don't want to just sell her but I don't ride her as much as I could if I had more amenities. Meh, maybe forget the whole thing.
  22. my whole afternoon wasted watching this.
  23. no I don't want a harley, well not really, I might look Aprilia pegaso with the rotax, the rotax is just SOOO smooth and well built its sick. I keep overlooking the Ape but its butt ugly and again, no dealer support if I needed it, damn it. I did kinda get a tattoo related to aprilia tho so it wouldn't be a bad call, lol. its even a great color, I think a used one of these would cover me nicely. AHHH DAMNIT, they don't sell that one in the USA, only the regular one I would have to do those upgrades through the dealer and it would be $$$ and take foreverrrrrrrr. fook me.
