  1. no I edited it to reflect the correct scientific verb.
  2. what you talking about, looks right to me *snicker snicker*
  3. wouldn't mercury make a better damping liquid?
  4. give it up man, give it up
  5. funny, I was almost thinking a Norge would go good with my formerly silver now rosso style 2000 V11 sport, leaning more stelvio but I'll get one of the two I'm sure.
  6. SEEE this is why I love you guys, you see something and go, O rly now? question the new thing with old sound knowledge is a true sign of a guzzista, we add the sarcasm for free I would have added my own smart ass comment but everyone beat me to it. hmm anyone thought of using argon? its cheap and I bet most of you have it sitting there doing nothing connected to your cutting torches
  7. screw it, looking it over my next bike will be a Stelvio, hopefully a TT, looks the b's knee's to me and if its half as comfortable as the GS adv. I'm dbl sold, I bet the seat is actually more comfortable the GS one was not great, redo would be in order but guzzi is famous for great stock seats(even tho I have a custom as well)
  8. I could stare at that for hours, I think I just did all the sudden its dark outside and I got home at 6
  9. it was red and at a bowling alley, they guy said he likes to do cross country trips and has been the best bike he's ever ridden, I really like them in person but still couldn't see buying one exactly, MAYBE if the price was right and silver not red. I still like the stelvio a lot better but my odds of finding one of those (not special ordered, brand new, high buck) are super duper slim. especially the TT I like the most, still I test rode a BMW 1200GS adv. last weekend and while it sure was nice and comfy the 24k OTD had me saying REALLY? I could buy a metric cruiser AND a rice rocket for that much dough.
  10. thats awesome, but how do you wheelie it? but just think of the rediculous lean angle with the extra contact patch plus weight distribution and if you could power two of the wheels and brake all three, damn

    new owner...

I was supposed to sell my guzzi when I got the Aprilia RSVR but I just couldn't, not even from a market perspective, its just so beautiful and classically modern I love it, comfy and reliable too. Thats a SPEED FOUR he has there which is probably the rarest of the Triumphs as I've never seen one in person they're not as popular as its bigger brother but the Guzzi will be more of a conversation piece and classic you can ride for a very long time, hell mine is a 2000 and no one can or would guess that outside a Guzzista.
  12. I've been out riding again, missed it I rode the guzzi all day today, well not all day I played some softball too, I love the guzzi a lot more for riding within the speed limits, the aprilia won't let me go under 75, the bastard. at least the guzzi is comfier. . . and classier.
  13. ah no, 2007.5 early release of the 08's basically, but very much a 2007 for EU, so yeah youre right, but didn't change for 08, and for 09 only colors changed. Luv the bike, such a smooth ride, power is insane and so is the ticket I was lucky enough to get out of today, I'm sure by the pic and sig that you already know exactly what I'm talking about I will get a good pic or two of my on the Guzzi if the sun is out here soon, going to rain now.
  14. I rode the guzzi to work today but put my Ape back together, forgot to get a good pic of the Guzzi, will do that soon, ape is almost finished to my liking
  15. that reminds me I DO need to come over, and get some help with things but judging by your pic there we'll have to do it all in the driveway unless there is even more out there!!! and I need to get to those meetings
  16. ewwww, you would put that on pork? gross turkey is the way, or maybe make it into tuna spread
  17. I'd like to put that on my turkey sammich
  18. HOLY CHRIST, I paid less than that for the whole tail, and I got a while tail, not just the leds.
  19. NO wonder little africa drinks so much damn guiness, maybe possibly we originally got some of the nigerian or at one point did, unlikely tho, and pouring it can make it taste different? I figured that a wives tale or slick marketing
  20. the tailpeice isn't pauls BUT his is very well done and almost more trick especially being carbon fiber, this tail peice was custom made in Iowa, works well I could even integrate the two for turn signals but I also like what I've done. I can say without a doubt there is no other V11 that looks just like mine, which feels nice. anyone who see's it will know its me, well, unless I sell it wife's been on my case since I got two bikes, little does she know I really want THREE bikes
  21. just get it painted
  22. I must have missed something, I didn't see anyone bashing trashing or cutting down the man, why is it that so many ppl go for the censorship stick so quickly? unless I missed it I see ppl sending condolences and talking about good times with a man many ppl look favorably upon, if you can't talk about the good times in someones life they might as well have never existed.
  23. I've been told they Thin it out for american markets, just not as thick somehow, we used to have guiness and even the drivers that had been delivering it for years said it was different when they first got it, I'm sure its almost similar to coke being different in a lot of countries, trying to adjust to regional tastes.
  24. wellllllllllllll true, but I think tx would be the last one to heed those words in a different situation. just my observation just sayin.
  25. I've been busy, I'll be on more as I start to unpack the beast, I gots a lots of work to do on her this year too, I think I have a seal going somewhere left jug has oil spray all over it and a weepy fork seal, going to get with a local guzzista and get some teachings on how to do these simple yet difficult repairs. ps, I can't point admins, it outside my limitations.
