  1. WHOA WHOA WHOA, not to be rude but keep your yapper shut!!!!!! no offense here but I have a few buddies in the insurance world and I also have dealt with it before, whatever the dealer claims is damaged from the fall OR NOT don't offer up anything, let the insurance and dealer duke it out and trust me they will. The dealers often highball it knowing the insurance companies will short them and insurance companies often try to short the dealers knowing full well the dealer is trying to pad it, but really really stay out of it and it will almost always work in your favor, only pipe up if they missed something obvious in their damage inspection not if they added more than you thought. Often if you start talking about one thing you'll give up too much information about something else and say short your damage claim in the process, don't worry your bike will come back to you better than new, not costing a dime, only a little of your time. well with guzzi parts maybe a LOT of your time but still.
  2. LOLWUT? I'd be more suprised some of you oldsters not being able to reach your nitro pills after seeing all this excitment.
  3. you ppl are so old you're sounding like my parents man, when did the hipsters become the 'man' man, its a sad world man
  4. I'm looking to sell mine, unfortunatly, in the nearish future. I love the bike, it needs a little TLC I have a fork seal that is weaping a little on one side and what looks like some oil mist on left the side of the engine, all things I'll fix or through a dealer if I keep it for myself, but just so youre aware of them, otherwise the bike has been near flawless and comes with all the original body work, in silver, the tail, tank, couple of chin pads, the one on it is the unobtanium CF version. 2 seats a stock and a rich maund, The front fender is on it now and is black to match I used to know a good price but not anymore, I'd like 5k for the whole ball of wax but with the aforementioned problems 4500 would probably do it. I have so many bits on this bike I think outside internal engine mods all that is left is alpina wheels well I suppose you could get some centauro footpegs and bar risers then it was silver
  5. I would have rather found a note than be sitting in the window taking a bite out of my chipotle burrito then al most chocking on said burrito as a small little asian guy backs into my goose in his f'n lil acura integra, go after their insurance ASAP don't let it sit and linger call them yesterday to get it started and even ask them the best place to take the bike if you like, don't try and get anything out of your insurance, thier insurance will pay. I got $1300 which I used for new exhaust and levers(broke one off) turn signals, a FBF crossover, I got lucky that the damage was minimal but the oem parts are expensive
  6. GOD I love the stelvio, seeing it in action makes me want it more. I WILL in fact have a Stelvio TT, you know in 3 or 4 years
  7. OH they have the technology for the range the problem is the PRICE, they have the BMW TRUE flex fuel that'll run on straight hydrogen or gasoline and honda has a fuel cell that will out range any current high milage car BUT the technology is so damn expensive to make on the mass scale not to mention where to you fill up your hydrogen tank outside that one scandahouivan country? I wish it would get here sooner as hydrogen could still make a car or motorcycle give off that signature rumble but only spit out water. you have to wonder if all the cars started spitting out water vapor instead of CO2(which plants actually need) how long before we see a REAL climate change from the REAL greenhouse effect. or god imagine in colder climates your car spitting water all over the road, gives black ice a new meaning, I hope they got a lot of salt ready.
  8. they did, last year, I think they were like 9K and not street legal but they brought in and offered like 50 of them if I'm not mistaken tho the color was of a goldish variety, its over on the Aprilia forum. Would be one HELL of a mean fun track machine.
  9. oh no, a K&N, lets hope a certain someone doesn't see this
  10. more hottie I-tie's too bad these are covered up
  11. we need more fine italian brods on this site, how about my current desktop wallpaper, that'dll do.
  12. TOPIC CLOSED, because I said so and now after futher review, the topic is open again
  13. I think I've only locked a topic once in all my time as all powerful global moderator BUT its often taken care of by paul or jaap because they know when its gone too far south, like tx south and sometimes the reasons are so obvious if you read what has been said that stating the reason would just be for someone who didn't read the thread. Don't worry too much I think the admin team let threads go on almost too far but then yank it just in the nick of time, often with warnings to straight'n up and fly right or else, what more could you axe for?
  14. YEAH, how the hell is it? I'm friggin sold on a stelvio TT, just be a solid 3 years or so before I can find/afford one tho, too many toys, too many bills.
  15. then we're going there together, I'd trade my Aprilia and 6 ducati's for a MGS-01
  16. Good GOD that thing is beautiful yet looks like a total dominatrix to ride, I'm thinking you like the pain. My mistress is easier to ride but not much cheaper on the wallet I mean I'm really getting bent over a barrel with this one but damn is it worth it
  17. ah man The Stelvio TT is WHERE ITS AT FOR ME, I'm so sold on that baby, exactly what I was looking for in the stelvio especially if it has heated grips. be awhile before I can get my hands on one, IE afford it, hopefully I can find a used one down the road, would make the perfect mile eater/adventure bike and service doesn't worry me they're a snap to work on and if not there are 2 shops but both are an hour or more away
  18. I would have bought a MGS derived bike over the Aprilia RSVR that now resides in my garage but I didn't see it coming, I still hold hope to get onto a new Guzzi when I'm in the market in a few years, I h ave a candle lit but thats about it I'd take a decent looking cruiser that fits my 6'2" frame too, say similar to the old stone's, titanium's, but with the new engines and gearboxes or the even newer 1400, I'd be in line

    election

how come we (the US) never hear about foreign elections like you hear about ours? I have no idea who the PM of england is nor the PM of france tho I heard his wife/gf is HOT. umm and the rest of europe I couldn't even begin to tell you, WHY don't they just have a president of europe? Locally I'm not worried who wins both sides got their thing and other things and those are all things we need'nt discuss round here. if you want we can meet at say bob's java hut and rant about it till we're blue in the face but I'm sure most of the good folks that remain would rather not hear about it.
  20. ah man I still have my deposit down for a MGS Corsa slated for 2004
  21. awwwwww I'm sorry I missed that, I love deleting spam and then passing them along to be deleted. I've been so busy I've missed a lot but yet in the guzista way of life its like I never left at all
  22. NO KIDDING, that grave stone is what at least 40-80 years old? I don't know when they put in all the markers but it looks like they just carved it out yesterday. impressive.
  23. we're going to have to start calling you BFG jr this thread is 2 fricken years old
  24. brackets? I don't need no stinking brackets! I see another bodge point coming on
  25. I always put stabil in the tanks for the last half tank and run it awhile with it in there to get it through the system then in the spring I pop in a little seafoam I use Motul 5100 semi-synthetic oil, I was using redline but that crap is uber expensive well like $50 an oil change over the $30 motul
