FINALLY but I can't find my damn rubber well nut thingys for the front fender, ARGH, but here it is, prelim picks just need some high rez glamor shots for BOTM. they took so long and closed down shop and moved to a new location merging with another shop so after all this run around they didn't charge me anything for the work done, just handed it over finished and said sorry, as I was supposed to get it back like 2 months ago

THAT exhaust is STELLAR, I wish the griso was more comfortable for my 6'3" frame, I just felt cramped and that was at the bike show on a stand, I don't think I could ride it all day like I would want to

Chessus Rice, that come with a transatlantic happy ending? thats a buttload of money for such a small peice of useless carbon. I'm perfectly happy with my satin silver now, it'll last longer than the CF one too. all this coming from a guy that went nutso trying to find the fabled carbon fiber chinpad that came on the rosso mandello as well(and I did) really I just wish I would have been able to find a Rosso Mandello when I was in the market but they were quite scarce.

Aprilia's are actually one of the most accurate speedo's around I think its spot on to around 100mph then only slightly optimistic topped out so I was maybe doing an actual 145-150mph but I remember riding my friends R6 and I got that up to 150 which was 1, way to easy for the 600 because 2, the speedo was REALLY optimistic at an indicated 150 I bet I was doing an actual 120ish, no joke. 150 on the aprilia felt a LOT faster, don't get me wrong I've only been that fast twice over two seasons and on my friends R6 once 3 years ago so, 99.99 percent of my riding is within the respected limits.

now that I know its a maserati I know I've seen it before, just a long time ago when I was looking up obscure motorcycles made up by car makers, like the Ferrari bike, fat lot of good that does me now.
-
thats funny I was able to go 156mph on my Aprilia a few days ago , but then that is a VERY different modern(sort of) supersport bike. Let me tell you anything to 120 is easy then every 10mph there after feels twice or three times as fast. I couldn't imagine doing 180 that the Aprilia could top out at, if given enough room/conditions, or even the sought after 200

you dirty rat, so it wasn't even a one off to call shenanigans on you, well played sir.

http://www.w8lessbrakes.com I watched the info on it at jaylenosgarage.com http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/...tml?vid=249960 and they seem like the real deal and stated from stock it is nearly as good as CF brakes but only as expensive as stock replacements, no warping, no over heating, and way less unsprung weight, seems perfect for the sportbike market what average harley guys gonna give two sh*ts about these? this seems prime for the sportbike, cafe, sport touring market, but HD's? I bet it would also help our beasts stop quicker, I'm impressed but I wonder the costs or difficulty of getting them for brembo, I know if I had to replace mine I'd try and go with these.

http://harpermotoguzzi.com/outsider.htm would you still need a windage tray? this would bolt right up the a standard V11 correct? never have to worry about it unscrewin inside anymore or to have to drop the pan everytime you need an oil change(which is why I only change the actual filter ever other) maybe if there is a decent oil filter cover that could be put on it'd be perfect. Might be something to look into here if I keep the old girl. only like $370 I think, I've seen worse. comments, suggestions?

whachu talking bout willis? -
yeah my 425# Aprilia is redonkulous, like literally twice as fast in the midrange tho similar down low but that midrange is like a sling shot all the way to 150mph then the acceleration starts to tapper off With that said I can ride the Guzzi faster, more experience and very confidence inspiring, plus its more fun to take a slower bike fast than a really fast bike fast.

I apologise for California
DeBenGuzzi replied to DeBenGuzzi's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
see, told you someone would go off the preverbial handle, This relates to the rebel scum thread that was closed and the general political pissing that seems to all come from California. topic closed. -
California to the USA is like Quebec is to Canada or Scotland is to the UK or Poland is to Europe, sure California is in the USA but their ppl, politics, and culture are not of the rest of the country. I whole heartedly think it could break off from the USA and give the general united states a much better opionion amongst the rest of the world. No offense Californians just my I really do think something is in the water down over there. of coarse no one will be able to see the sarcasm in my statements and it will surely start a 7 page debate on the damaging affects we're doing on the planet with pollution which passes through K&N filters and errodes the rings which gives way to blowby and thusly burning up the lesser oils and creating more pollution. Maybe I should just close this as soon as I post it up (yeah I like to hit a bee hive with a stick and run)

Summers here quiz *
DeBenGuzzi replied to macguzzi's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
did you already award the stumpy jaap, can't tell the asterik is in the title, dang mac and his rediculously obscure but looks so similar to other motorbike quizes -
GO GEICO, you can do some others but they're only cheap or will only cover your bike if you have a lot of other coverages like home owners and multiple car policies and crap like I have with farmers BUT I'm still looking to switch to geico they have better coverage for the same money as I pay now actually $40 a month full coverage for the aprilia and like $20ish a month for the Guzzi but its really only that cheap if you take off bodily injury from the policy and just go for full property damage, as in if you have good health insurance then take off the bodily injury otherwise I'd opt for it.

I can attest to how great the edge guards are as I in FACT have one of the original runs that he did and I don't think he uses the same meterial even anymore and might have slightly improved them but honestly why a protector isn't there from the factory is beyond me and one of the best investments I've made, keeps the rear sachs shiny blue and white for me I've always considered getting the other peices and taking the hugger out, I like flash but I'm a minamilist, I want something compact, well made, yet blingy, like getting a Dunhill when a bic works everytime for a tiny fraction of the price.

the more I think about it Issor racing would be awesome, pronounce it like Eye-sore racing, get it.
-
Issor Racing or I guess you could use some other racing stars name backwards although rehcamuhs doesn't really roll off the tounge, well it kinda does stick to bikes tho whats wrong is vledhorst bro's racing? or however you spell/pronounce your last names
