Rich can do any seat, he doesn't live or die by V11's or he would have died a long time ago to be fair most rebuilders are as good and if yours is a local job might want to save on shipping which is a huge part of the expense.

$650!!!!!! that better come with a handy at time of purchase, gawd damn. I think the beefier waterproof garmin is only $500 which is still too damn much in my opinion, how rugged is this tomtom over the garmin?

thats obviously a black BMW R51, yay I win -
just a teaser, Because its not back from the graphic artist yet, he's putting on a nice, but bigger(not too big) V11 logo on the sides of the tail minus the "sport" part, will just be the nice V11 and its not mounted yet either obviouslly, I'm just excited, check back here for photo's when its done and mounted, THEN I'm going to take it to my work and take some "action" shots next to the grolsch and see if I can't get a shot at BOTM

its not needed but is nice, my damper is original, turned up a few clicks and has never had a problem, touch wood but if I had to I'd look into a ohlins or mantris ohlins will ru n you about $200 ish range and the mantris is $300 ish but the mantris is italian, and trick looking. OR the replacement, highly upgraded from the original unit bitubo is really nice looking too, might do that even if mine fails. plenty of options to replace that bottom shelf bitubo unit and definatly worth it, tho like I said I've had no problems so it stays for now.

something like this is pretty common in these parts when the weather gets hot, I just wear my Icon TiMax mesh jacket with armor and hope that it'll protect me often unbuttoned or with a t-shirt underneath for added safety

WELL, I got my exhasut and cross over from them but I haven't dealt with them for service, their parts are great and have held up well BUT you could just do the service yourself it isn't hard, there are walk throughs for everything. YOU could just buy a PCIII and load the map with the mods you have and do a fine tune of it later, your bike will run 10 times better with a generic map at least, the only thing is that if you have the valves done put them to world specs to help the bike run better as they have it pretty lean to make emissions or some hoopala.

guzzi is like BMW in that they can go for 200,000 miles or MORE with little more than TLC and wear item replacements like tires, brakes and by then a clutch(maybe two) BUT the engine and tranny are so over built you can easily rack up half a million miles, probably need all new everything by then but the basic compenents would be the same the only thing to end a guzzi V11 series early seems to be oil starvation so get a sloppage plate from pete or just overfill the oil and make sure its topped off from time to time and the general concensus is that it takes 10-15 thousand miles before the engine is properly set in and ready for anything(often times as a owner you will be by then as well) some say a 100,000 on a guzzi is low milage as for a guzzi mechanic anyone, and I mean virtually anyone (outside of the ECU) can work on these things, they are very simple in overall design aided with the cylinders sticking out at you buy one love it and ride it, I know I'll miss mine when its gone but I'll be back on a guzzi before too long but check into your local BMW shop if youre at a complete loss they often know enough to get a job done

her nipples got WAYYY bigger, I bet those are after the baby shots or I have no idea why they doubled in size
-
didn't think these had any kind of "choke" I know my 2000 is just a high idler and not a choke but a fresh set of plugs and checkment of tb's then maybe go with a fresh tune. just pour this all over the bike and all will be fine don't worry baby you'll get your mojo back

RIDICULOUS helmet deal!
DeBenGuzzi replied to v50man's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
do you think a schuberth or shoei would fit my head better as the nolan is about spot on and the suomy guzzi flip up I have is a little off but still pretty good, a LOT lighter than the nolan but also a lot louder too. I just want a nice quiet flip up lid for my huuuuge melon, thinking schuberth -
RIDICULOUS helmet deal!
DeBenGuzzi replied to v50man's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
yeah I got a huge melon with ears sticking out, its like sputnik round but pointy in places, I can only really wear the flip-ups for comfort and I mainly stick to nolans with the nice flip down shades, I did hear that shoei? was it makes a flip up thats quieter, damn I forgot who it was I think it was shoei anyone know what I'm talking about my new nolan is quieter than my old nolan but still loud as hell. -
that looks how it should have come stock, or at least with a windage sheet to avoid oil starvation, I like pauls extermemly expensive over engineered approach, 60% of the time it works everytime
-
WELL I don't know you that well to really offer this up but I have sent parts to that neck of the woods before, just recently to sweden and it cost me something like $28US and arrived after only a week, maybe something could be done for you(helps when you put down the parts as a gift, not of significant value )

he's a local guy for me(manic salamander) and I bought mine from him personally at a coffee shop, they are TOP quality sheet, I promise you will not be disappointed

Does it have to be on the road? imagine this but with the guzzi once the paint work is done and I have'r back together hopefully ASAP and my personal favorite just don't drink and ride, unless its Monster or N/A    I'll take one next to the grolsch just for Jaap next time It would have been really awesome if we still had Guiness, Harp, Smithwicks(schmidtiks), Bass and Heineken (well and colt45, old style, and special ex) but the distributors had a big shake up 2 years ago and we tripled our area lost all those brands but gained rolling rock, land shark, grolsch and Monster Energy drinks(plus a lot of fancy waters borba, skinny, mountain spring hell I don't even know what most of it is called) Basically AB didn't want mixed brand(ie not their crap) distributors anymore and they own all the mentioned brands, too bad they now own Bass shortly after the shake up they got that from labats I think and we can't get that back till their contract is up with mark7(another local distributor), same for corona and modello
