  1. "God of Fire" cigars are like a light opus X, if you like the lighter stuff really give CAO golds a try, they're great and not expensive, if you h ave some money the Zino Platnium Stouts will put anything from monticristo to shame. I hope the ban is lifted soon, although there are plenty of non-cuban cigars that get better ratings, still would like to try more than the handful I've been able to get ahold of.
  2. OMG ratchet, tell me it isn't so, the dominican Monti's, Romeo's, upman, they're all part of Altidis and in my opion taste the same, too bland, no excitment, Try some of the tatuaje's or on a budget the Gurhka's shaggy's or if you've got the money really splurge on a God of Fire cigar, if you want something pretty good for a bargain price the Punch Rare Corojo's are great as are Kristoffs, CAO makes some really good smokes as well, Ashton makes some great smokes but are spendy. I'm personally boycotting Altidis BLEH! I ever make it down by San Deigo way I'll buy you a schwarzenegger worthy smoke and we'll talk shop. Also, I've test ridden two new HD models and I have to say for the purpose of their motorcycles I don't think they can be beat. The ergo's the fit and finish, even the power delivery is GREAT. I mean the bikes were top notch and definatly great lazy road touring bikes, I'm really smitten for the new Cross Bones and will probably get one as soon as I get my Aprilia paid off.
  3. I had a similar dealing with a Vrod too bad it wasn't getting onto the freeway or not in a residential area because I didn't know we were racing till he screamed past me so I gunned it and kept up but I'm sure if I had known I needed to hammer the throttle it'd have been close but I might have edged him out, funny considering his is an all new only few year old state of the art water cooled engine from porche, and mine is a 40 year old using 80 year old technology lump
  4. Alright, nothing by friday and we'll call this one stumped, I've never seen anything like it, I take it back as looking like 2, it looks like 4! engines mated together in a frankenstoker.
  5. so did mike get another billionth quiz point for this one? looks to be correct but only one person knows for sho.
  6. I have to believe that Jaap didn't realize how many people that just scan the site and don't really post here would get the wrong idea, the threat was focused at a few "regular" posters in the banter section and has nothing to do with the majority, although sometimes the majority gets their nickers in it too, if you want some clarification of whats going on with this check the archive section at the bottom of forum menu page, you'll see what Jaap is referring too.
  7. but where do the air filters go? uh-oh, rachet aint gonna like this . . .
  8. so what happened to george in vanc... is there some black hat society going around stealing board members?
  9. don't mention those book burning topics around here, don't make me censor you!! My Redline(forget the weight now, damn) has worked great in the hot or the cold, The bike starts easy and runs great no matter the temp.

    Tyres

well on a side note to thise discussion which tires would be best for some colder weather riding? The Guzzi rides so well in the colder weather I think I'll use it more on the colder days and commuting and the Aprillia for the hot fast weekend rides. I really don't want to fall down again, anyone know of some good sub 50F degree tires.
  11. looks like a custom of two engines mated together, this might be a a lil hard I'm sure mac's just waiting for the last few minutes before he swopes in with the answer.
  12. saweeeet a new quiz, its been so very very long, and now its DeBen's time to shine
  13. well wait a minute, if the exhaust doesn't actually touch the burger they might be onto something, maybe I could get two for the guzz?
  14. you aint just whistlin dixie there my friend, I still have my goose, but this really has a punch to it.
  15. I might be selling mine with a near complete second set of body work and allllll kinds of upgrades, I'm not looking to leave guzzi just really like the Stelvio as its exactly what I've been wanting, the looks aren't perfect but I like it a lot better than the GS, The V11 is a good bike if you like cruisers as it has more punch and still keeps a decent riding style while looking sporty, but sport bike it is not, a great cafe it is, I'm torn as the looks and feel of the bike are great but I don't think I can pass 3 bikes by the wife, she'd keel me.
  16. that sounds like a steal of a deal for a Centauro, if I had the cash I'd buy it part it out and put the 4v in my V11 I'm sure centauro owners would rejoice and I'd have my 4v I've been lusting over.
  17. thank-ya, ordered some new rocker gaskets, anyone know where to get a sump gasket or do you think my stocker will be fine? anyone have problems with their old one when dropping the pan?
  18. I'm going to drop my oilpan for the first time this spring. I hope santa didn't leave me something in there. I'm also going to change out my valve cover gaskets as I have a leaky one, anyone remember the guy that makes'em?? I know there is a link around here somewhere. Might need a new sump gasket as well.
  19. and harleys make like 50bhp, so what, thats not what its all about, Although it would be nice if they came out with a MGS-01 street to compete with the duc's ktm's and so forth, it certianly has the looks and heritage but for most ppl looking at Guzzi I don't think the 15less HP will be the deal breaker. Even with the problems Guzzi has had they last for ever, a solid ride, and very unique. I wish I could afford to have the V11, RSVR, AND a Stelvio, (and a harley) I think that would do me, I used to think I wanted more superbikes but this RSVR while a blast is almost scary fast. I find the guzzi is better for a spirited ride in a more comfortable psotion from point A to point B, the Ape is like a hang on for dear life and buy real grippy tires. If everything was about performance we'd only buy STI's Porche's EVO8's so on, so on, some ppl love their Saabs

    Stelvio

thats a little nicer, I love the stelvio and can't wait to sit on one(be able to afford one) and the thing is it also looks like its missing something, I love the exhaust can(that'll get cored pronto) but the seat and tank don't seem to go so great with the tail and/or front, I dunno it just feels like its missing the mark somewhere.
  21. THATS right, I always forget, youre the sport 1100 tag along. good thing your spirits are up.
  22. Stop playing around with babel fish. but honestly I don't have a lemans but if you need some things I have lots of things I could possibly sell you. As in a complete set of body work for a V11 (minus the rear half of the front fender and the starter cover haven't got doubles) You might need some things maybe, maybe not and I could use some coin for my Aprilia fall down, I wasn't as lucky as you, I didn't get hurt but I was only going 7mph, you are VERY lucky.
  23. Merry Xmas everybody
