Wow, I'll have to keep that in mind, I want a newish car with AWD and room for the fam, that looks like it might work, but for the same money I might just go Subaru, something about Suzuki doesn't sit well with me and thats funny because I grew up on a 78 motorcross and my first street bike was a Suzuki Maurader.

ahhhh you bassard, Thats the look I'm going to go for(kinda) but I'm going to possibly have my funky silver and black seat and have the stock V11sport stickers put on the tail. The seat cowl will be something different, not sure what to do with it yet but I got some idears. Nice to see what it would look like more or less though, neat. Better than my Red/Green explosion.

maybe you should paint the dang dials red again while youre at it. That'd be sweet but a dead giveaway you went in there. I might have to do this at some point, always wanted a dremel

I was at my local BMW and others dealer and I saw a shelf of oil filters I asked the guy whats the difference with this one in the plain white box? he said about $20, I was like HOLY crap, he said well its a BMW branded part, exactly the same as the $8 filter under it used on I think it was snomobiles or something I forget the details exactly but I laughed and he said yeah, only a certian few actually buy the BMW stuff for their beemers. I think I got what he meant by that.

OMFG I started laughing so hard I'd like to see a standup bass on someones back on a motorcycle other than they cost a ton of money and are rather fragile. what a sight. I have to admit I was thinking standup at first for some dumb reason.

that has stanley steamer written all over it, even the HP2 enduro hasn't held its value and I reallllly like that one, might still be an option if I Can't get ahold of a stelvio, stanley steamer- those that could afford it, didn't want it, those that couldn't afford it, wanted it. I totally agree that has ahem more like $15000 written all over it as BMW is always higher priced cause they can. I wouldn't even buy one at 15k tho.

I bought one too, nothing like the V11 and I likes it that way. I would have gone after a MGS, IF they were available and road legal AND somewhat affordable. I paid 14k when all said and done for that ape why not put it in the Guzzi fold with a nice MGS road or who knows. I'm liking that HP2 sport but then its a BMW and I hear they're about as rock solid as the old AMF's. I'm thinking I might trade up the V11 to a Stelvio as I've wanted a Dual Sport since I was a kid even if the less beaten roads are getting harder to find. Guzzi would do right to stick the path they've chosen as no dumb squid is going to buy a Guzzi kinda steal a quote and tweak it, anyone under 30 and isnt on a crotch rocket doesn't have heart, anyone over 30 and not on a Guzzi doesn't have a brain. I like to have heart and brains.

THAT is gorgious, the only thing I think would set it off is to go with black cans and jethot black the exhaust pipes. THAT would really trickout the bike to the max, as it stands THEE most attractive Daytona I've ever seen. Hopefully I can get my V11 near that kind of beauty/originality someday.

I swear the wife says there's a nice bike in that picture but I don't see any bike for the life of me, I looked it over thourghly, is it one of those stare-e-o image things? maybe off in the distance somewhere?

last I got him weighted he was 190lbs, I just guess 200 his doggie bed is a Queen size Futon Matress, great with the kids and scares solicitors. kinda hard to imagine how huge he really is unless you see him, like a great dane that built more like a pit bull, I love English Mastiffs, I think the movie "The Sandlot" is what got me hooked on them.

I started mine off young, getting a smell for the bike well he grew so I thought why not keep an eye on the cars too I'll have to get a good pic of him and the bike in the spring, oh and the 200lb dogs name? Guzzi. now if I could get the bike down to 200

that is simply AMAZING, congrats on your purchase, too bad I wasn't in the right place at the right time, chicago is only 5 hours from me ah well, you take good damn care of that girl and no speeding or dangerous roads, I want you to be real gingerly with it, imagine trying to repair a simple tip over from some sand or a careless driver check out if they have something like "wheels of italy" that they do here where around lake calhoun in downtown Minneapolis every summer they have a huge Italian car and bike show I bring mine too it every year. I'm sure they have something worthy of that 38 in your area and a perfect excuse to ride it

could try some booties that cover them, they're like sweatbands with motorcycle logos and getting popular on the track. 27F, watch those tires, no hard turning. heck avoid turning altogether for a few blocks if you can, I had a bit o a spill at that temp little over a week ago.

AHH but those only work if you don't have clip-ons, so they could be paired with the LSL risers but not installed on thier own to a sport. I'll keep an eye on those LSL ones but I kinda like my clipons and don't think I'll change them out anymore.

awesome give us a ride report once you get going through the breakin, as I'm sure the breakin is still about 10k I'd think you know all the quarks by then. I'm still going to hold out and possibly sell my V11 for a stelvio.

maybe a VERY optimistic dyno? yeah, I bet he could smoke my RSVR with that thing the real way to go would to get a 4v'er and mount that baby up, I've seen it done to a V11 and it looks hot.

I'm going to take it seriouslly easy on colder days and the wet burn through these rennsports next summer and switch to diablo stradas or just regular diablos, not sure. I like the price to stick to life of the tire ratios with those.

just a heads up, Metzeler Rennsports SUCK, they're great for dry moderate-high temps but anything low or wet and they don't perform very well at all, I'd say a great tire to shag on the track then get something more street worthy, as usual ymmv

scary thing was, I was making a right hand turn almost a u-turn and didn't touch the brake, the bike just went out from under me upon lean in. braking I could understand more.
