  1. how about this pipe?
  2. GOOD god, I thought about driving down there for the day to say hello and see the bikes but it was raining and I was busy with work. I can't believe it, thats crazy.
  3. of coarse ALMOST any can will fit as they are quite similar inside BUT you should always get your bike tuned after installation so you don't cause any problems. As long as you don't have to bend the pipe too much or go with a dramatically different size dia pipe you should be more than fine.
  4. I'll be sure to post fo pics of the bike when it gets here next to the V11, I'll also fill out a ride report, I'm freaking excited they're going to send me pics of it coming out of the crate , took long enough to make a decision but I think it was well worth it, 07's are reported to have zero of the only minor niggles of the 04-06's so I can just get on it and ride the snot outta it. Anyone comes up to the frozen tundra, and we'll go ridin.
  5. but I'm old on the inside and Sean, I'm already there, been there, its where I bought the bike from AF1 in texas. They host the site.
  6. almost had a big disaster, got qouted $180 a/month for this beaut, I begged and pleaded and he made some calls to his partner that usually writes bikes and they came back with $33 a month full coverage but even that is outragous I pay half that for the goose
  7. I bought this one from a guy its really nice.
  8. Thanks for all the support, I thought I would get the opposite for some reason, I know youve put up with a lot of back and forth with me on a bike decision and now its finally over . . . or is it? yeah it is for a good while I can't wait, should be here in 3 weeks or so I hope if all goes to plan. Its not a Guzzi but its close right? well same country, someone wanna come setup the suspension for me? as far as I know that means the tuner would be puttin on a few hundred miles to get it just right, right?
  9. yeah kevin, so you got her to sit next to the bike on the ground for a "model" pose and shopped in a guzzi logo in the top corner? I bet the girl in the pic doesn't even SPEAK english. I want whatever youre smokin cause it must be really good shite.
  10. I added an Ape to the stable, I was told not to by someone with quite the knowledge but then if everyone listened to the elder words of authority on things columbus would have never discovered cuba and brought back tobacco, mmm cigars I think I'll go have one to celebrate my crazy purchase of a 2007.5 Aprilia RSVR silver-red I think its beautiful but am I just plain bonkers? got it from Af1 in texas, should be here in 3 weeks total loan of $14 but thats with TT&L, setup, freight, no payments no intrest for 6mo and no penalties for paying it off at any time, free shipping, Possibly the stuff to do the first oil change(I asked if they'd throw it in), basically the whole nine.
  11. I have 2 of those tank pads, how much you think $30 shipped to you? $25? if you want to get more use out of your bag it could be a decent band-aid. I was going to keep my original and got a second to recover it but then found the coveted CF chin guard.
  12. The red-framed 2000's are bullet proof, just change the relays if you haven't and thats all, rock solid. ALSO if you want to get ride of or trade that Carbon Fiber front fender I have a silver one, and a green one, I would be willing to trade and possibly add a lil $ to the pot or some other parts who knows. I've been looking for one and can't find'em. That looks exactly like my bike did when I bought it, now mine looks like this. well it has different turn signals, but needs a carbon front fenda.
  13. looks hot, bout time.
  14. I like to represent as many great cup sizes as I can. I like them big, I like them small, I like them all.
  15. isn't the brooklyn bridge in texas?
  16. too bad I can't use the Coppa tank on my bike, I'd try and take it off yer hands. 2 problems wont fit and wont connect without some mods. basically wont fit period as I have the shorty frame.
  17. I got the right compound I asked. I get how it will fit with compression I bet it fills out the slot and I didn't know I needed any lubricant as everything was covered in gas so to speak I should be ok, the o-ring I took out looked fine but was much squishier/flimsy than the new one I put in, that and the new one was much darker black.
  18. oh I got a good idea why it failed, I was like HMM what is this thing? a quick drain for the tank? maybe if I spin it? nope, push on it? nope, oh nice its leaking. its part of my personal flaws I like to get my mits on things to see what and how they work that said its happened to some that it'll leak from age without messing with it but its rare and shouldn't. l'm usually my own worst enemy here but I'm learning, Almost everything I've had problems with on the Goose were my fault. The thinking with a slightly thicker o-ring was that the current size doesn't seem to fill out its space entirely, maybe on purpose. Now I wonder, should I have replaced that little o-ring that was on top? cause I didna, they gave me the o-rings for free too which was nice but I REALLY don't want to take the tank off again that would make like a dozen, once to pop it off and figure out whats going on, put it back. started leaking next day, took it off and put some gas proof sealant in there, started leaking a week later, took that out, cleaned out all my damn sealant chunks(that was a stupid idea) put it back all nice and clean and lasted a little under a weak now took it off again and got a new ring.
  19. I went to the auto parts store they had a lot of o rings actually. I couldn't find one that was SLIGHTLY thicker but I ended up with one the same size, heres to hoping the damn thing holds for another 7 years , nothing more frustrating than a gas leak, I say that as its many times more dangerous than an oil leak, usually an easier fix tho.
  20. I need those O-rings that are for the fuel regulator and I haven't the FOGIEST where to procure some. anyone with any information leading the capture of the suspects are urged to PM deben ASAP.
  21. thats why I'm never selling my V11 for another bike, I'll only sell it if I have to, possibly buy a new one if mine blew up or stopped being reliable, so far its been rock solid. I just need a second bike for some variety.
  22. TRUEEEE, but there were actual holes in the bridge from the resurfacing and I have no idea what they were doing to it for sure but I didn't have a good feeling driving over it with'em cuttin it up. I figured they knew what they were doing and such so it was just a passing fear/inkling. I hope youre right and it had nothing to do with the work they're doing. Everyone I know is good and wasn't near the bridge at that time as with the construction it was horrible if you got stuck on it, I took 280 as much as I could. I'm suprised its not even worse that bridge is really high up.
  23. there is video, its just like it said "I don't think I'll stay standing anymore" it happend even faster than I thought it would have, almost the whole span went down instantly. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2007/0...e.side.view.cnn the president came on and said they are going to do everything they can as fast as they can to fix this, I wonder if the whole katrina thing has made them think they should be more accountable, it is a federal highway but completely overseen by the state, I'm no expert but the bridge wasn't that old in bridge terms, they musta done something wrong with the construction.
  24. and its completely GONE. A huge section collapsed into the Mississippi killing half a dozen and injuring 60, its lucky it was rush hour and traffic just droped straight down, if it was a normal time and ppl were moving fast there would be many more deaths but fewer injuries. I'm sure many of you heard about it, I drove over that span earlier in the day. Imagine if I had been on my motorcycle, I'd be one of the dead for sure, if I was in my work truck I'm sure I would have been fine but banged up. This seems extremely odd, I have a feeling MNDOT did something they weren't supposed to and compromised the bridge. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/08/02/bridge.wi...ews#cnnSTCPhoto
