WAYYyyyyyy more of these bikes are solid than just about any other brand out there (mechanically, NOT electrically ) just take a look around, one that may be on par or even a tiny bit better but only at first is Aprilia as I can't see a RSV putting on 100K mi's before any serious work needs to be done. Look around for that too Many MANY guzzi's have broken the 100k and even the 200k marks with only friction bits needing to be replaced ie bearings, tires, clutches ect.

I plan to have 2 bikes and make it work, eventually three when I get a dual sport but then after some time I'll sell two of those keep the guzzi and get a harley, hey everyone has different plans and maybe someday you'll find a new guzzi that cranks your turn to be fair its is FAR cheaper to have multi bikes in the US, taxes are $14.50 a year here in MN and my insurance is $150 a year (I was told I Can get any bike I want for that money except a harley, there was much rejoicing!) but my out of pocket for a second bike will be far less than yours I assume.

We have 'shredders' here, just installed. I think they only have a single cable with spacers though. Works well for cars, I'm sure it would just kill any biker sent into them and trucks with any kind of load would tear right through'em
