it came down to the freaking wire, I mean I was going enie meanie... between the goose and a blue ST with bags. I like the position and top end of the ST but I loved the looks class and low down grunt of the Goose. I couldn't make up my mind. Well I think you know how this story turned out. I still wouldn't mind an ST or a daytona I know I'd enjoy it, so would a friend of mine who's lookin to get into riding and only 3k????? good god a screaming deal I think.

I assume the rosso mandello red is done the same way. I may get my tail resprayed to match the tank I really like that color and it'll help knowing to tell them painter this I'm sure.

I caved into the peer pressure and finally made my contributions to the forum's coffers NOW I don't think he can go buy a bottle of dalmore 62 but at least a guiness

I wish there was a RacerX jackal like the clarkie tuono. I'd want one fer shuoer now if he wedged a 4v'er in there whoa I like the norge and all but not what I'm into and to avoid getting a beating with wet noodles I think BMW still does it better but it is guzzi's first real attempt. The norge being a first atempt I'd give it very high marks

the higher price might be the rarity of them. I'd like to get one myself. I'm ok without one, a backpack works fine for me, now a tank bag that turns into a backpack then you'd have somethin.

Wow, have I got good insurance then, Unless I get a brand new ducati or fairly new harley the rates are around $500 a year and everything else is the same so RSV $150, MGS-01 $150, BMW 1200GS $150, Britten 1000 PRICELESS the catch is they won't insure just anyone, you have to have a plethora of policies and then they really don't care and just write it up as a generic motorcycle policy, I have 2 cars and the house through farmers paying them roughly $3300 a year without the bike. Its all realative my brothas.

mine is so cheap here I hate to tell you, ah hell, $150 a year full coverage I've heard of cheaper too. but then mine is down as a Quota try tellin them its a Quota

I like brietlings and all, but I don't really care for the Bentleys, I think they are a tad fugly, AND to add insult to injury briets front man is mr saturday night himself john travolta I like the bond image better myself or maybe this one, similar price to a standard brietling -
well then thats my point isn't it, choose a track with a longer straight and have a more powerful engine and there you go. I wont deny the goose works wonders in the corners I was easily out doing some jaap bikes on some back roads last summer, the straghts on the other hand but if I wanted an R1, I'd have en R1 so thats the end of that arguement.

if you get the SXV make sure your clutch is on tight!!! check the aprilis site for the horror stories. 10min of work will save you 10 months of hassle. Apperently luigi didn't thread lock the bolts on a lot of the models nor torq them down.

I know we've had "tits" and "hooters" not sure about "boobies" tho, I likes'em exotic
-
the lemans fairing looks perfect for the track, too bad the engine isn't more track friendly I still love my goose for the street, would be fun to do a track but I stand by me assesment.

Now for something completely different... I have a Mavodo Olympia Chrono on right now with saphire class my other workin watch is a Tissot Auto with saphire, but a cheapie one and when I really dress up I wear my Tissot pocket self winder looks amazing in person when I get a real job, I'm going to get an Omega -
you could prolly get leo's for an aprilia or monster and just "nudge" the pipe in the right direction for yourself, as long as the pipes are the same size the muffler shouldn't be too different, especially for the monster. I like my FBF pipes but I pine for the Guzzi Ti kit alas, no money for that.

you can sometimes find a new tank for a good price, I know greg had a rosso tank that needed to be repainted for, now don't quote me I may be off it was like $4-$500 he may still have it and I've seen them on ebay from time to time. I got my near perfect Rosso tank off ebay for $300, whadda steal

depending on the looks and size of these "bubbles" I'd say the paint is lifting off, I've seen it look like ballons and when they pop, you hosed. I got a few small bubbles in my paint but the nice new rosso tank I got doen't have any. again I could be wrong but my 2000 silver tank is also too wide for my bike and the forks hit it on both sides, has rub marks from it. I don't get it, only one to have this problem too apparently. Stupid luigi

There's a rally? all I see is boobs, is there a boob rally, because damn the costs I'd be there.
-
I dunno, for $10,000 more than the base with $5k in mods it makes for a $5K paintjob, but then ducati can do such things. I'd really like to get a lightly used one of these tricolors down the road. BTW there jimbo we want to see the hooters remember them some nice lookin hoots right there I tell ya what

Those sound better than my FBF can's I commend you sir

Many of the "big" american comapanies pull this. AB of the budweiser fame does the same thing. There is a dealer here in town that has harley and aprilia plus a ktm and others but they have two buildings across from each other one with only harley and the other with, well everything else. I don't currently know of one true guzzi dealer in MN, I think motoprimo stills has the brand, maybe the place way up north in mora does. aprilia has hit the same skids I dont' know of one true apirlia dealer in MN, I heard a farm implement dealer has the brand up north, Funny they should have gotten guzzi in my book these are sticky times for both Aprilia and Guzzi, what piaggio does in the next few years will determine if we have either in N.America.
