THATS NOTHING. my steering stops (the tabs that stop your bars from turning too far and hitting the tank) were not welded on in the right place so if I turn to far the forks hit the tank on both sides and have caused a rub mark, since it hits the tank on both sides evenly(same size rub mark) I'm pretty sure its not the tank thats out of whack or maybe somethings bent along the way but I doubt it. I've had 2 mechanics look at it and scratch thier heads and no one on here seems to know what I'm talking about but I've got pictures OH I've got pictures (I'll go take some pictures tomorrw its dark out.) someone top that quirk, and I mean quirk not failure.

and $1,800 thats all the more info he had, and a real lot to pay for a tank. yikes. Actually supirsed Jaap hasn't bought one yet he likes to spend half the money value of the bike for each mod I figure he owns about 3 or 4 stock lemans by now

I dunno but I axed'em about it. Hopefully he has some good info about this tank. Its exactly what I've been looking for if I can afford it now thats another matter, and I'd put on the Guzzi eagles with some kind of light matte top coat to take away some of the glare, not too much but to take away some glare and keep the metal itself somewhat scratch free.

I've ridden a few bikes, not as many as some on here but the heat on the legs, have you ever ridden a I4? they billow heat onto your shins, also the heat getting pushed off of normal vtwins seems to cook your calfs as well, Really the least heat I've seen has been on the goose, I bet BWM's don't get too much heat blast either.

I'll chime in here on a 5 star comfy scale, I've had a stock, corbin and then Rich Maund and sat on a sargent, In order of comfort stock gets Two&half stars the Corbin gets three stars but you have to break it in, it starts at 2 stars and works its way up to 4 stars so it gets 3 stars. The sargent is like the corbin but not as good, it is really hard and takes forever to break in so it gets 2 stars and rich maunds seats are 4 star outta the box you can get it to look however you like and even go a little crazy on the padding if you want something for 2 up, Honestly there may never be a 5 star goldwing style seat for these V11's but then I would think you'd just buy a goldwing if thats your problem.

we have a saying here in the states, forgive me if I mess it up but if you have 3 dollars and you need 2 dollars for air, but you owe the goverment 2 dollars, well you better learn to hold your breath until you can find another dollar.

with a better paint scheme I could ALMOST be convinced to turn mine in for one. But then I don't like the new engines as much as the old ones and the 4v is the prettiest I think. Maybe IW as dropped on my head but if I didn't already have a Goose I'd be on that 1200s like a fat kid on a cupcake More power would be nice but I'm sure its not much over our V11's

I really love the exhaust, and I could have afforded it I would have had them custom installed, termi's are awesome. What I REALLY love is the tank. I think one of those would look great on my V11, does this tank possibly eliminate tank suck, does it have the fuel pump built in? any info on said tank would be great. Might be the perfect fix to the one little gremilin I've had. I'd sell both my tanks for one of those(well maybe not the original) I think It'll look better on my sport than it does on the lemans also, but thats just me.

I've had no problems with my 00' sport but I can't recommend the 02-03's get a late sorted lemans the one in oregon sounds nice, I keep thinking I might just end up with a reasonably priced lemans in my garage in a few years. I used to think the fairing on them was akward but seeing them in person and wanting a little more wind protection on the longer rides I like to make, a Lemans might be in order 04-05 of coarse Pref the nero but I aint too picky

I think its more of a matter that Pirelli USA isn't exactly the same as same as Pirelli euro union, Such as MG North America, not too similar to the real MG. neither can get you parts tho.

I'd say he's about 10,000 eur's off there. Thats absurd. Weren't they 20something new? I'd really like to have one someday but that someday may never come if they make something more interesting

I love pirelli's and Metz are ok but I don't need a new set until next year, prolly late next year. I wish Toyo made bike tires

Same here, I'm hoping after I get it balanced and dyno tuned they will be all but gone. knowing what I know about guzzi, or what I hear at least. Nothing is ever 'gone' or really fixed its just bodged up for now kinda program.

I have orangeokies CF chin pad. I guess everyone has someone elses parts. here I thought I couldn't possibly be in that loop then I remembered.

I really went for the CF's for looks, but if something happens to them I'll be looking for a Ti set, Any Ti set I can find leo, MG, whoever. Quat-D is nice but I like having pipes on coming out the back. I can't wait for bush to be out and the demo's to be back in and maybe they can bring the dollar back to the euro and I can buy all this crap I want without taking a loan.
