well at about 700aus for each can I couldn't see shelling out the money unless I lived in Asustralia and just wanted to support the home team. They are very high build quality better than FBF or Mistrals(or so I've heard) but for about $500 a can they are real expensive(because you need 2) I'd like to see a bub exhaust on a griso. I'm thinking of maybe getting something like that and want a magni or a bub exhaust. Would look good, or so I think. anyone else need some help with pipes? I've done a lot of research on just about all of'em. The best you can buy IMO are the Guzzi Ti kit. Very very nice easy and smooth sound.

I'll take some of your minds off the heat, few years ago we were staying at a YMCA camp up by Biwabik Minnesota and it was -36F but that doesn't matter because that almost equals -36C I think they meet at -40 anyway it was similar to 110 with high humidity it was like the cold was sucking the air right out of you. Your fingers exposed to the air would become stiff and useless in a matter of seconds and when it gets that cold (at least outside the artic) the wind is almost non-exsistent. we took a cup of hot water and threw it up in the air, and nothing hit the ground *poof* you can spit and it'd skip off the snow. Needless to say we went skiing later when it warmed up to -12 or so. Personally I like the cold better, you can always find a way to warm up. I don't have a friggin clue how to cool off in a heat wave when you don't have access to hugging a AC unit. Think cold thoughts.

Enzo Replica Cobras Mark Seven - Complete - photo essay
DeBenGuzzi replied to Enzo's topic in 24/7 V11
I bet these hopped up Beemers wouldn't pull those kinds of RWHP on a dyno, Its pretty impressive, so if the rear wheel is 90 what is the crank? 105? 110? better than a beemer or a harley(obviously). -
They don't currently make any I could find. I did look around. You could see about getting a V11's hugger and slightly modify it, that might be the best possible fit without having one fabricated. I just wanted to see the bike with the new can.

I need a custom map to get the full potential. I know, But the $400 tunning fee puts me off. and it runs well just a little rich down low and an occasional ping in the 4k range, rare tho. more rare than b4 I started all these mods so I'm not worried. but I know a custom would do even better.

Those cans were discontinued about 2 years ago, maybe 3 sorry, As for the FBF can's they've gone up a solid $100 since I gottem for like 645 I think it was, better gettem while they are still affordable otherwise Mistrals are near identical.

if I'm reduced to riding a scooter, I'm riding this super scoot. think this is what valentino rides to his mailbox?

Sometimes I think its time to send mine packing and get something new, but then if you look at the V11 in the right light its timeless, The lines that engine, If you look at a GSXR from 5 years ago it looks like a dinosaur, not the V11, (maybe because from 00-05 they were basically the same) but because of what it has and what it doesn't have, the fairing on the lemans is timeless as well, something that ppl will look back on and admire like MV agusta americas, Guzzi eldorados(good years you fill in the numbers) Norton commandos, I think the V11 is a new classic, soon to be worth just a little bit less than I paid for it. well I can dream can't I?

gorsh mike, youre such a cheeky bastard.

I can't believe no one agrees with me, I'll have to get a griso and change out the pipe for one of these, that'll show you, that'll show you all!!!
-
I was talking about the Griso, I think they look like crap on the V11, but I think One would match the lines WAYYYY better on a griso. better than the mistral sport style can.
-
I bet it would look F'n great on a Griso, whos with me?? I said whos with ME?
-
I want the Griso with one of these pipes, think it'll fit? pete?
-
wow, and to think I really want the 850 griso. although harley how has thier bikes with the 6speed and 96CUI now!! glad I didn't pull the trigger early because the price didn't go up and the big bore kit to get the old bikes to 96 is $2000 but maybe if I wait to get a motorcycle on my deathbed they'll have all the niggles sorted out by then right?

I see nothing. you can use Photobucket just upload the files you have onto thier free site and it gives you the tags you need to put them on here, just copy and paste, photobucket.com pretty easy, otherwise if you are trying to attach something it could be the wrong file type .ART and .BMP are bad, VERY very bad .gif and .jpeg are good.

I try not to post on wildguzzi, I waste enough time on-line as it is, and AS far as Minnesota is concerned civilians are not allowed on military installations so I guess thats why I'm scratching my head all the bases around here are very self contained and have guards posted with M16's There are roads but they are like I said self contained so unless I worked for the military or was in the military I don't think this has anything to do with how its done here?

If you need one of my stalks, don't worry I can cut you a deal like $11.85 less than the buell dealer, I'll submit the bill for shipping costs to the karma department for filing. edit, went to look, I have 2 Buell and 2 Guzzi turn signals, whichever you want but I only have the amber lenses I remembered I just took the smoke lenses off 2 of'em and put those on the back turn signals until I get the LED's after I get pauls tailpeice next season. I was thinking it would be easier to order those whole turn signals (4) and replace them all with the rubbery buell type but then found out the rear signals are not nearly as easy to replace and just went for the lenses, One thing that can help is look and see if your turn signals are on extender stocks, take those off and thusly puts the signals in about 2" and makes them harder to run into or snap off. I think it looks cleaner too.

Don't let your Moto Guzzi garage with a Superhawk...
DeBenGuzzi replied to RonV11's topic in 24/7 V11
Kudos, looks like it belongs there. I think I've seen V11's with Aprilia fairings and thats a lil better considering they were at least staying italian. But a very nice looking Mut you got there. -
I'm sorry, but WHAT the hell are you ppl talking about?
-
bill I can send you a new stalk. its off a 2000 V11 I have 1 spare for sure If I'm not mistaken 2, PM if youre interested. But are your lenses clear or amber? My spare is an Amber. I replaced both my front turn signals with buell's when it got knocked over and one of my lenses got smashed and a whole new buell turn signal was cheaper than a new bulb lense assembly from guzzi of coarse, stalk might still be good on that one you could just put your bulb assembly and lense in it and go.

oh, I'm planning on going to a Steam Threshers reunion here in MN, its neat. I'm sure I'll see plenty of modern "threshers" on the way there. I always wondered why they called'em hogs until I saw the pigs that rid'em. I shouldn't talk tho, I'll have a harley b4 too long.
-
I'll tell you if you show us some pics.
-
I know if they paid better I would have joined the military, but I've only heard shady things that no matter what you want to do unless you have, and sometimes even if you do have a contract you do what they want you to do. So the miniscule pay mixed with possible ditch diggin instead of helicopter flying I didn't go for it.

ah, we're all just a little burnt out from the summer heat and fixin stuff, There is only one true wanka on this board and he comes and goes like el nino, some call him batsinthebelfry, some call him BFG, but there is no one like belfastguzzi.

Hmm he must be thinking of the MGS, because I haven't seen a guzzi outside of australia that cost anywhere over 15k most are 11-14 new and can easily find a 04 nero for I'd say 7-8, leave you plenty of money for that cab and dinner too if you like.
