which model beemers are we talking about here? think the new style oilheads can make it that far????? I'm curious for real I really like the 1200GS and for a third bike in 5-10 I hands down want an enduro
-
I keep getting emails from ppl for parts, (second one now) I think some wires have been crossed somewhere, anyone have an idear? As in I don't have parts only stock parts from my bike and they're mine, mine mine mine.
-
hey golden I see they're building you a shed in the background, Seriously your driveway is worth more than my house. BTWis that a chevy belair in the background there? lets see more of that!!
-
HELL yeah I can, think you could haul your Gooz with that Gooz?
-
Doode I have a condition. you wouldn't make fun of a guy in a wheel chair would you?
-
Here Here, couldn't say it any better, its like you know me or something.
-
you mean too much? I hope not. We'll see. I think red wheels like I've seen are too much though. I'd like to add the red bolts for the gas cap and a red dummy light cover and maybe change out my gold resivor caps for red ones. I've got so much to do and so little money to do it. this weekend I'm doing the big service(minus the oil change did that 2 weeks ago)

hey, yeah, where did ya get the CF chin-pad? 90102[/snapback] Umm on here, someone got it from Guzzi(its an OEM part) I don't even remember what I paid and it doesn't quite fit, notice my bodge point, Anyway I'm going to shorten the mounting posts if they don't line up and attatch them to a small strip of metal and then use the OEM ball snaps, I'll show pics this is hard to explain. maybe I can relocate things AND get more fuel from the tank huh? we'll see maybe I'll end up destroying everything in the process and have to put the silver tank back on. would that be another golden bodge noggy?
-
may still buy them tho.
-
I was about to buy a red set, anywhere else to get them? shipping is the same price as the nuts, WTF. they weigh like 2oz not 20lbs.
-
that same jap bike could prolly make our guzzi's look silly, I fail to see a point.
-
good, bad? I don't have time to read!!! I love and have loved the Super Duke from inception maybe I should just get that instead of even thinking about a Buell or for now a harley, but at 15k...ouch looks fun tho. real real fun like a Ulysses only for the road, but I wonder if you put those tires on the KTM, ... HMMMMM

I don't want to go red on the alt covers the lettering is red and my frame is red I don't want to over do the red, but I do want to get a red dummy lights cover, and maybe, ... maybe sell my gold resivor caps to buy red ones. going for a theme of red and carbon. At the same time I really like the silver I think I'd like the tank done in a traditional Guzzi green and silver like a tenny green swoosh on the bottom half of the tank with the rest silver.

god it woulda been sumthin to see willie g on a goose, I'd pay $50 to see that. The only "rod" version I like is the original all these spin offs seem to get uglier by the minute.

artisrtic, I'll have the old tank repainted at some point and swap'em out when this new tank gets all beat up. My current tank has some bubbles in it and a couple rub marks from either the tank being mishapen or the steering lock not being closed enough. WHICH is welded to the frame so that would be luigi

I like middle of the road pipes, stock has to go and straights are rediculous, FBF fits this well, for harley(if/when I get one) I think I'll look into Vance and Hines I used to have those on my old Suzuki and they were real nice. Loud pipes MAY save lives if you rev'em good b4 someone is about to turn into you on the freeway and push the horn and swerve out of the way and maybe hit the brakes, ya know but the pipes were part of it right? nothing to do with actual skill and defensive driving just the pipes Well I think I'll get pipes coming out everyside of my bike then, That way I'll never die

best bang for the buck is Fast by Feracci, they make a nice crossover and an airbox lid that really opens things up, Go for it!!
-
I also have a CF chin pad, just need the front fender and a lil help from paul

everybike has their purpose, the streetrod is on the same level as the vmaX Not the V11, The HD mark must have done something recently because I couldn't believe the power delivery and the smooth ride, it would be awesome if there could be a "blind" test ride for motorcycles but I don't know how that would be impossible. Everyone finds faults or fruits depending on their bias. I mean why would anyone buy a Vespa? they are tippy slow not very practical besides gas milage and cots as much as many new bikes and easily over other scooters why do ppl buy them? the name just like HD but the vespa is also one of the better scooters they are good at what they do and I kinda think harley is good at what it does lazy b roads on a late sunday afternoon with no direction and no hurry. when I wanna boogie I got the Guzzi but sometimes I just like to take it easy and cruise, smell the roses so to speak.
-
My point exactly, the only guzzi that lights my fire these days (besides the beautiful V11) is the MGS01, that bike is a stunner, the ducati is very uncomfortable, thats more of a ride it to the coffee shop and show off than the harleys are. im my book.
-
Funny bringing up HD's is almost as bad as religeon, or Global Warming!!!
-
I wannt go incogneto hmm don't think I Spelled that right, but get blacked out pipes pull off as much crome as I can and maybe even take off the tank badge, I will never buy any HD merch nor buy into the club they have(its creepy) but I will enjoy the smooth ride and great sound, plus it feels like it would be pretty damn comfy for a longer ride than I'm used to. Ride what tickles your fancy not what other ppl fancy. (fancy enough for ya?)
-
I Really like the norton BUT they are appealing to the wrong crowd with that price point anyone that can afford it won't buy it and everyone that wants it can't afford it, its like a stanley steamer.
-
this'll turn into another HD forum b4 long speaking of how hard was it to upgrade your brakes? I'd be interested in putting a twin big brake setup in front, especially a brembo setup like on the guzzi, is this possible? I know it would look nice and make the pig stop.
-
Some of your arguments could be made about guzzi compared to the competition thats not the motivation and actually the bikes I'd love to have are not possible for me to own, a Confederate hell cat or a I'm having a brain fart on the other one but they are only taking orders and they cost 60K, has a high performance something engine that starts with a P a practhet? crap this is going to drive me nuts now. I can see your point about riding position but look at the street bob b4 you make your point of the riding position, its more like a BMW with its middle pegs. Also it cruises so well and smooth the engine is smooth the tranny is smooth and the suspension is smooth, I hate posers as much as the next guy but I want my street bob with anticrome I want blacked out everything with black cherry paint I'm not buying and clothes with the HD logo's on'm either, with some money they can actually keep up with most things out there, get the stageI-III and it'll do a freaking wheelie(I wouldn't want to try it tho) For the cruising I do (never long distance) its perfect where the guzzi is perfect for the short blasts I like to do around an hour of riding. After that I'll try to find a cheap ulysses for some real back road excitment.
