  1. just run it with headers, She'll sound A LOT like a harley. I ran mine with just the crossover in place(no cans) WHOA loud. I dunno I really like this one but it may be after I'm 30. and I want the big engine with standard pipes(or at least performance with stock sound) I hate those things with straights.
  2. ehhhh, but fair is fair, Point given. I hate it when you find it for real but its too late.
  3. mmmmm Pizza
  4. Good Choice, For me the wife likes this one so it puts it over the top for me, but I still have to test ride it. because the Speed 3, Sup Duke, and the Tuono are still in the running. I wonder why so many people that like the goose like the tunas? they don't look very similar at all. oh and by this one I mean this one: apparently it can do wheelies too, who knew? I like this one a lot more tho. This exact one I would say, or the one thats more black
  5. yeah you need the Ducati levers but I cannot remember if it was for the large or small, I think large, They are SUPER nice and I didn't think I would use the adjustability but it does come in handy during rush hour, easier on the hands. then just let'em back out for more feel on the open roads. I think I paid $89 each but Stock replacements were $160 I want to say for the set so for just a little bit more get the trick bits. I didn't find any others when I was looking that I thought would work well, some are for show (i.e. wide bladed hog leivers) I'm sure you could get some stocks brembos on ebay or from some dealer that has'em laying around.
  6. I think he was drinking. I see mo makings of a quiz. unless it is to see if he will survive his trip? I give'em 2 days.
  7. this is BS he only guessed. points are worthless.
  8. points given, but not for the auction hottinanny.
  9. it was the 47 airone that was first 1947-"teleidraulica staple to steles turns upside down to you, planned from Carl Guzzi, rather than in printed publication sheet; on forcellone the hydraulic shocks-absorber"
  10. 48 airone caption says something in italian, might mean something happened that year as in forks. What is upside down forks in italian? "head-cylinder in aluminum with distribution, before discovered, enclosed of new; calipers shocks-absorber; Type Sport with new chassis in tubes and sheet; the old version assumes the name of Type Tourism"
  11. now I'm not sure again, another place(in italian) appears to say this model is a 56?
  12. I don't know if that is a 39 but I can't find a TRUE for sure photo of a 39 , sorry and it appears guzzi didn't even have modern forks until the airone. truth be told I don't really know jack about old guzzi's. I just really like current ones
  13. Ah-F'n-Men brotha
  14. I'll leave a post for when its up for a stump, approved and set a deadline, Otherwise if the quiz is dormant and its been 2 weeks you get a stump Automatically. So there.
  15. I don't know who gets this whale of a quiz. I just don't know. I'll have to confer with airone, forrest?
  16. I bet they got to watch it happen, how about the noob who tries to take some video of the super duke idling and the sucker falls right over! I've seen something else like that too. I wish I could remember where.
  17. some bikes just CANNOT handle the cold I haven't ridden a buell yet, BUT I want too (probably this summer) along with a street bob. After that experience I might have even more love for the GS1200, BUT what I'm getting at is most bikes can't seem to handle cold, NONE I've seen can handle the cold like the V11, it starts up almost instantly (even when it was the dead of winter) heck with all the go juice its spraying in there(ya know the 30mpg) it should start right up. I wish more bikes had that kind of charm to them. If I'm at the coffee shop everyone has to sit there and jaw jack while their rice burners and cruiztourers warm up, not me, I'm gone. Be sure to giv eus ride updates on this buell of yours.
  18. I pointed someone the first time, I wonder if mike got two and I thought I pointed BFG, I can't remember for the life of me.
  19. I dunno he did pick 2 riders and you only wanted one, I dunno on this one.
  20. what the f'enheimer ever, you're going to have 2 rows of quiz points at your rate
  21. get the FBF crossover, its a stucchi clone at $100 less. Almost identical and made of the same stuff, if not thicker! steel that the headers are made of. so it kinda matches up nice. the stucchi is too silvery and out of place, (if I remember what it looks like anyway)
  22. chalk it up to being new and not reading all the posts when I did the updates.
