Strangely,tho,since I ve had mine,I've never seen another one(barring at the Erin rally).Then last week I saw a Mk1 Le Mans(German I think), two Sport 1100's and a Daytona.There's sometimes a Cali at a bicycle shop in Foxrock.

My bike felt good after fitting the crossover and Mistral cans,but it felt a lot better after the PC111 and dyno tune.

But if he didn't have holes in his socks,how would he get his feet in them? Motley County. I like the sound of that.

Rumour has it that,if he likes it down under,he's having County Kerry unzipped from the rest of Ireland and towed there behind his yacht.Actually,yacht is a bit misleading,you can land an F16 on the poop deck,such is it's size.

I presume that he meant move the engine forward to get more weight over the front wheel and lengthen the swingarm to improve rear grip/traction by increasing wheel travel. But I may be wrong. Jim? JIM??? JJIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMM????????

It works fine,though it can give onlookers a bit of a fright. Tape the hose to the car exhaust,rev it a bit for a minute,then light your torch and put the flame into the neck.You'll probably get a bit of a whooomph,but it's ok after that. Except for the time I did it with a VW camper van tank and blew it 30 yards down the street.Couldnt have been empty after all, I had to weld the seams again,but it must have changed shape,cos it wouldnt fit in the hole in the engine bay after that.

Presumably you've picked up a s/h pc111.I wouldnt think it would matter,but get it dynoed to set it up. Makes a big difference.

Yep,same thing happened to me.An old fella I used to know(one of those old guys who've fixed everything and can repair a broken cylinder head with a bent teaspoon and some polyfilla) told me never to lube a speedo cable with oil for that very reason..A very light grease of the inner was all.He said that the oil would also react with the inner and make it swell,causing failure. I dunno,but he knew his stuff,that old guy.Now sadly gone. BTW,I love chronometrics.

It's not leaking oil,its marking its territory.

What struck me as even funnier,in all the time it must have taken to poke about with bits of solder,think about and type up the topic,wait for replies,etc,etc....You could have pulled off the head and had a look yourself. Haw haw!Coming from someone who'll happily have a 2000 word dig at anyone who disagrees with his point of view,that's priceless. If Hubert has a valid greivance with motoguznix's information,surely they can air their differences and sort it out? I dont like it when people put one another down,but a healthy debate is nothing to be feared,as long as personal insults are not used.Purely from a personal point of view,I prefer the direct approach,call a spade a spade,etc. This stuff is nothing new anyway,engine tuners and scholars of the infernal combustion engine have been "debating" design and manufacture for years.
