  1. Dont worry about it man! Whats the worst that can happen? You may have to date several different women & have sex with some of them until you pick a new girlfriend? Boo friggin hoo I feel sorry for you! lol Really there are far too many beautiful women on this earth to get too hung up on just one of them.
  2. Those rims look very cool Is 1500 euro a lot of money for a set of spoked rims? I think that would give the bike a cool retro look, but they are a major pain in the to keep clean.
  3. I dont get the Ural thing either, but owning a Guzzi I cant talk about other peoples unusual bike choices. Its been said that people dont buy motorcycles for good rational reasons...they buy what they feel passion for or they dont buy it at all.
  4. If you have the garage & the tools take it apart to the best of your ability & clean it. Grease everything that needs grease, check the valves whether they need it or not, etc.
  5. I had to sneak mine out for a ride today after the football game. Its only 30 degrees out but what the hell Its still fun almost a year & 9k miles later
  6. I've heard of a few complaints with this part. I'm going to probably buy the reaction rod from Rossopuro. I think the price may even be lower but I havent looked at it in awhile. Edit: I just checked the price...its 72 euros thats a lot cheaper than the poor quality stock item.

    Hmmmmm

Will that rear wheel match a standard v11 rear drive? It doesnt look like it will. I'm the high bidder right now but that will change soon I'll bet.
  8. And I was expecting to see a new Ducati photo :!: It must suck being hurt with all those fancy Italian motorcycles just sitting in the garage.
  9. I just got my feb 06 MotorCyclist mag & theres a nice article titled dream roads. Theres a v11 & a Tuono in the article with a travel story in the North Ga, Deals Gap area of the U.S. Its good to see a v11 prominently displayed in a major motorcycle magazine
  10. Looks good, but theres no headlight?
  11. Now thats a real head scratcher I'd let it cool down to room temperature & see if it still runs poorly. My only guess is that you may have inadvertently loosened a vacuum line or loosened a wire. The thing is I dont know of anything like that, that could come loose from an oil change. Dont worry someone here will have a good idea of whats up. Btw I have #74 nice valve cover guards
  12. Now theres a ferocious beast if I ever saw one! I have a picture of my rat terrier with his Italian cane corso "girlfriend" . I'll have to get my gf to get me that pic so I can post it. Theres about a 120lb difference between the two, pretty funny. Those Italian mastiffs are monster size dogs, they look like hellhounds the way their ears are clipped. I wouldnt want to break into a house with one of those things inside.
  13. I really like the greyhounds. There are a lot of greyhound rescue groups here in the states & I've seen the rescued ones at the pet stores sometimes. Those poor dogs get treated horribly in the dog racing industry. It is surprising that such a big fast dog can be such a good housedog but they really are.
  14. Dont look now but theres a very tasty looking Scura on Ebay. Titanium exhaust, low http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Moto-Guzzi-...enameZWDVWmiles, looks like new
  15. My poor dog being viciously attacked for no good reason~!
  16. What a pussy! Cat that is
  17. Happy New Year to everyone in Europe right now its getting close. As for me...I'm still on the wagon
  18. Coming from a guy with a RM I'd say the Rosso Corsa & Nero Corsa are the most rare V11 Along with maybe the Coppa's. There were 300 numbered RM's made & once those sold nicely of course MG made another 300. At least they claim they only made 300 more, nobody really knows. The Tenni is probably the least made of the bunch (around 160). I hate to say it Ben but aside from slightly different suspension & fairings the paint scheme is the only main difference in all the bikes.
  19. I think the general rule of thumb when installing an oil filter is to start the threads by hand, then tighten the filter by hand not with a wrench . The filter should only be hand tight & even then dont get to carried away. I've always removed the oilpan to change the oil & I dont know how easy or hard it is to tighten the filter by hand through that oil filter hatch in the pan. So the above instructions are for changing the filter with the pan off. I'm particular about my bike so I like to get the pan off & wipe it clean with a cloth & inspect everything just for the hell of it.
  20. Heres a good quote "The gift which I am sending you is called a dog, and is in fact the most precious and valuable possession of mankind." Theodorus Gaza And this one "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." Roger Caras
  21. Looks like I started a good thread. Wow Tx apparently has lost weight & grown some hair since he took the pic for his avatar. Or is the pic with your dog the old pic? lol I'll have to post a few better close up pics of my dogs later today.
  22. Those filters come welded on from the factory. The main thing is remove the oilpan & get the filter clean & dry. Once you do that get an adjustable wrench & have at it. There are usually several types of wrenches & such @ your local auto parts store. If all else fails use the screwdriver & hammer method.
  23. (sigh) I've been waiting for that MGS Serie ever since those magazine articles came out. Doesnt look like its ever going to touch a dealers showroom though. Too bad because thats probably the only bike I've seen that I'd be willing to pay retail new $$$ for. I'd sell my RM immediately & put a deposit on a Serie today if I could get one.

    My dogs

Just thought I'd post some pics of my dogs. Sparky is the tri colored rat terrier & Oscar is the black & white mixed fox terrier type dog. They are both very big for their breed, Sparky is 27lbs & Oscar is 32lbs. I took them to the park today & turned them loose after a squirrell. Oscar nabbed the squirrell as it tried to run up a tree. Needless to say the squirrell is no more lol. I'm sure the English guys on the forum are familiar with these kinds of dogs as I think thats where the breed originated. Usually the squirrell makes it up the tree but not today Since its to cold to ride I have to amuse myself in other ways.
  25. I didnt think the stock tire was bad either. That is until I switched to a Pirelli supercorsa front tire. Granted the supercorsa is a track tire & will handle better but wear out faster, & it did. This spring I'll put a new Pirelli on the front but it will be the longer wearing one. Maybe then I can give a more apples to apples comparison to the stock Bridgestone, but by then too much time will have passed to compare them. Btw I put a bt10 on the rear & I like that one just fine, but I will likely get the matching Pirelli rear when I get the front tire replaced in the spring. Next time you're in the mood to switch tires try the stickier ones & see if you dont agree that the bike handles/rides much better.
