  1. Looks like a Ducati to me. I dont know whats unique about it though. Any clues? Its not liquid cooled is it?
  2. Try searching with the words rosso mandello paint & ebay. There was a thread earlier this year with someone selling rosso mandello paint on ebay. The seller wass in the UK if I remember right.
  3. Maybe you should try pegs with rubbers pads on them. I know you can feel the buzz through the pegs after 100 miles or so. It doesnt bother me so much but I rarely go long distance.
  4. According to my dealer source they are being put off probably until after the New Year.
  5. The way I remember it the fender has to come off right away with the wheel. Then you have to loosen the pinch bolts further up. Theres nothing in the forks themselves that hold them to the bike that I can remember. The only reason to loosen the top caps of the forks while they're still on the bike is because the clamps hold the fork tube for you. On the 01' model I have I only loosened the top caps & drained the fluid, I didnt disassemble the fork itself in any way. There are many threads on this procedure here & if you google v11 fork oil change.
  6. I believe you should work from the bottom to the top. First remove the wheel & fender. I think the newer forks are slightly different than my 01's forks, so I'll defer to the others here on that part.
  7. Personally I dont do anything at all now in the way of vices. I smoked the stuff a few times at parties with friends & it is pretty fun. I cant see why alcohol is legal & pot isnt, alcohol is far more dangerous in my opinion.
  8. Low temp Friday here was 8 Sunday its supposed to be in the 50's. I'm going to try & sneak the bike out between the rainshowers. Its supposed to be 65 here on Monday but I have to work that day...all damn day lol. After tuesday I think its back to winter again.
  9. Well Ben they are a little lighter & spin a little faster. Plus its supposed to pull easier at the lever I think. Having never ridden a dual plate clutch Goose I wouldnt know. I personally have gotten to like the rattle in neutral of the single plate.
  10. I hate it when that happens! You dont have an extremely hungry/happy dog running around the house do you? lol
  11. I went through 2 or 3 rear light bulbs this riding season. One filament always seems to burn out pretty fast. I forget which one it was though.
  12. So when is the darn thing going to get to the States? Is Moto Guzzi going to have a display at the Cycle World bike show this year? They didnt have anything last year, matter of fact I dont remember Aprilia being there either.
  13. Come on Ben :!: Dont you remember back in the 50's when used to race competetively?lol I guess you dont remember the v8 green goose that won a few races. Oh btw the winner of those races, his name was Tenni. You have to do your research my man
  14. I like the tank & the front fairing. Otherwise I still think the Griso is a far better looking bike.
  15. The first thing you're going to need if you do a lot of work on your bike is a proper set of t handle allen wrenches. That leak doesnt look too worrisome to me, I'm looking at the photo & thinking the two leaks dont appear to be from the same source. Maybe a real Guzzi guy here can give you more advice on what the exact problem is. I'm thinking you'll just need a new gasket some proper tools & a few beers when you're done.
  16. I guess now that the Breva & the Griso are going with one canister it must be ok. I still prefer 2 canisters on a v twin for the sound.
  17. Heres a first pic of the new brackets. Its a little too much sun though I think.
  18. Heres a first pic of the new brackets. Its a little too much sun though I think.
  19. Hmm I wonder if the alternator is strong enough to handle anymore load lol. I'm trying to be funny....
  20. Yes the carpet matches the drapes
  21. I noticed that Rossopuro already has Breva aftermarket stuff. As I dont have a Breva I didnt pay much attention to it. But it is there if you're interested.
  22. Oh btw they sent me some cool looking little catalogs. Theres a sexy new looking front fairing for your v11 on the way soon :!: I'm sure its one of their new items that are still in development or something. I should send an email asking for more info on it. Is anyone else interested in a new fairing that actually covers the whole headlight Lets hear your opinion Those brackets I have are a new design too I guess
  23. As soon as my girlfriend brings her camera over I'll get some photos.
