  2. WELCOME !!!! As a "newbie" to the band of owners of V11 Le Mans Tenni's, or Tennista, You'll find your bike a hoot to ride, and is one of those bikes that although looks good in pics, looks great in real life, (you already know this of course) just watch out for some of those Scura guys, seems that they are so jealous of the attention our bikes get they can't help "bashing" us when ever they get a chance... All B.S. aside, the V11's are great bikes, l just feel that the Tenni's are a little "more special", and you will find this form to be great, lots'a great guys from all over, and alot with tons of really good advice and help when needed. Cheers Van
  3. "Seems to be the same mistake as folk make when not differentiating between Tenni guys and Scura Men."....BFG Hey Belfast! l thought you'd given up trying to Tenni bash some time ago,...sigh How many times do you have to be reminded to be good....really This nonsense about minced vs mincing, Minced IS how we Tennisti leave the twisties, and the roads we travel on, while Mincing is the way that l've heard you ride.. l mean after all, wearing all that girly gear that you got busted trying to lift must make you squirm as you ride, the lace must tickle and God knows what the bustier and thong do to your riding style such as it is.. by the by, what the blazes you doing in a country as civilized as Belguim? l mean there's great beer there, not trying to get cultered are we?? Cheers Van
  4. Like he said Yeah, l get about 120 miles (my Tenni has a miles speedo, not km's) before l have to get really nervous, got quite a bit more riding with a new rider for awhile, we never exceeded the speed limit for what felt like ever, and l got about 160 miles Cheers Van
  5. What? "cellar temperature".......would that be the temperature of rising damp?? Cheers Van ps. you going on the spring ride that Jim is proposing??
  6. Thanks Pete, the cheque is in the mail really though l'm going to try this pay pal thing, it seem to be the way to do things! Again thanks Cheers Van ps. watch for the warm beer in the UK, it might be too much of a shock for your southern hemisphere body to tolerate
  7. Beautiful motorcycle the Magni !! l wish l knew more about their racing pedigree. But now to the real matter at hand...... when you say..."a Tenni for sale but they are very common".....you had better smile Cheers Van

  9. TRY STICKYRUBBER ! lt seems that lack of any type of info on bike racing is universal here we get full coverage of curling, and poker gets prime time as it's considered a "sport" WTF l guess that l don't know sh*t about "sports" Anyway, enough of my soapbox rants, a really good site is one out of the UK http://stickyruber.com great site, lots'a fun too nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Cheers Van Opps, er, make that ; http://stickyrubber.com (rubber with 2 bb's) Cheers Van

V2R-4H1 attention: Gord Hill Gord is the Service Manager there and has my Guzzi in his care and waiting for your plate as we speak, so if you could please send the plate ASAP that would be greatly appreciated.. l will contact you direct to sort out $$ Thank you Cheers Van
  15. Pete, Jim, Gentlemen HI Guys, my beloved Tenni #125 is with Gord at Valley Guzzi for service etc. as we speak. Could it be that the earth, moon, sun and stars alaign and l can get a "Roper plate" installed while its in Gords care???? Cheers Van
  16. Hi'ya Ferguzzi! back in the old country, South Africa, you'd find a very similar walking stick/weapon, mostly a Zulu and Swazi item, called a "knobkerrie" in modern times, used to terrible effect against their enemies, ( the British, the Boers, and sadly each other ) all in all a very useful tool, a great walking stick for going through the veld, good against snakes and keeping moderate sized beasties at bay, ( not so good against lion etc. ) and not classified as a "real" weapon by the authorities, so carried by all the men in the bush and bloody perfect for skull bashing in !! Cheers Van

IS IT A Tenni on Ebay

What? pay too much for a Tenni !!!.....ahhh, what price perfection??? Ok, ok,...no more kidding, the simple way to prove if it's a real Tenni would be to see what # it is on the Tenni registry....from what Giovanni, #60 found out, there where 170 produced and yes, before anyone gives me a slap for not up-dating the registery on a regular basis, l've already done that.... Cheers Van
  21. Hi Pete Yes please Sir, can l 'av one? l'll take one direct from you, or l could try to get one of the 10 you're sending Jim, or you could send him 11 and l'll pick it up from him...my Tenni #125 gets serviced at Valley Guzzi, near Jim anyway, so if that would work with you two fine gentlemen, that would be wonderful Thank You Cheers Van
  22. cute? ....yes jiggley?....yes the fact that they look, and are probablly only 15?......5 to 10 where you become someone "special" Cheers Van Ok! NOW we're talking You're right, thats what l've always thought of my big jugs, slim waist, (well sort'a) and nice big comfortable hips!!! = the perfect ride Cheers Van
  23. Yep, like he said Cheers Van
  24. yep! that Duc is REAL nice but....well lets face it, if l had wanted a Duc l'd have one, but a V11 with a fairing is just "so right"...especially when it's my Tenni serioslly though, full marks to Ducati for doing them to look so right, they do have huge apeal to me, but l'm proud to say that Guzzi got there first with the V11's....and the ergo's are something my bod can live with, while the Duc for me, would be a short ride at best. l also think that Guzzi's timming was off, they had the big sporty cafe type retro bike out of the gate but maybe to early, and now Duc, Triumph, and even Harley are going to be cashing in on the "newest thing" Cheers Van
  25. Nice bikes!! One of my buddies is buying an Sprint ST, Hows it compare to the Guzzi?? Cheers Van
