  1. l was at Skagit Motorsports last week, (a multi-line dealership in Burlington Washington, north of Seattle) they had what they say is the last V11 in the States, a new Nero Corsa, very nice machine, beatifully finished, ohlins etc. they are asking $13,999.00 for it. Cheers Van
  2. Van here, proud owner of Tenni #125 !!!! l'mmm Baaackk!!!! So, in spite of Orson being a real gentleman about all the slander and off cue pot shots that we Tennista have to endure, some of you fellow V11 riders are still trying to take the mickey out of us,, tisk, tisk, raw envy is such a nice shade of green don't ya know?? Now what about these tires?? l've just new boots fitted to the Tenni and l had planned to go with either a set of Pirellis, or Michilens, BUT, the dealer suggested that l go with what he rides, Metzlers.....so, l'll let everyone know how l fare with them, hopefully they'll be good in the wet, as thats what we get ALOT of here, and it never really feels like it heats up, in spite of whats been said about Global Warming, it always feels cold and damp here....maybe l just need to get on my bike and ride.....it's been a long winter....sigh..soon, soon now back on the bike!! So, what about those tires?.... and watch those wisecracks about Tenni's Cheers Van.....the TENNI MAN

  14. Oh here we go again with the Tenni bashing....... DeBen, you really have to get over the fact that the Tenni is a" Highlight "bike in the Guzzi V11 range....don't be so jealous freind, it'll turn you a really neat shade of green.....say, Tenni's are GREEN !!!, wouldn't that take the cake eh?.... Even the most dyed in the wool Tenni nut (that would be me) is very quick to tell the rest of the world that V11's OF ALL TYPES JUST PLAIN ROCK !!!! (the Tenni's are just that little bit more special, thats all) Cheers Van
  15. Ok, one more time with feeling...
  16. Ok, so l figure that all this side-hack stuff is just way too "out there"...Racing side hacks are very cool, and the Harley/Beemer thing is, well, it's ok l guess, and yes if l HAD to, a Guzzi hack would be ok, but not a Guzzi Sport model....it just ain't right! Did however find something that seemed "right" Arig thats built by a Dutch Co l believe....whose attachment l cant get on this site ....mmmmm let me try again.... Cheers Van
  17. OK all you mofo's that is one VERY beautiful looking bike there, almost "Tenni" like !!! Cheers Van
  18. Belfastguzzi, l TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU !!
  19. Hi all! Now that we've found over 40 of the 170 Tenni's built l'd like to know where the others are? Any Down-Under? South America?....(any V11's there)? South Africa?? l know that there are Guzzi's in S.A. but any Tenni's or V11's of any type?? This forum does seem to be pretty much a Northern Hemisphere one, only one V11 from Australia poped up on the map site put up awhile ago. l'd think that there'd be quite a few in New Zealand?..No? enquiring minds and all that want to know, Cheers Van

    Tenni Info

So BFG is still alive and well! and lurking on "our" Tenni site l see yep, l guess that we are a pretty exclusive bunch, but it's not us due for a good flogging, it's the bikes BFG, ......it seems that we are pretty much a northern hemisphere bunch, all waiting for the better weather, what about Ireland? do you , or can you ride year-round? l figure that your weather would be pretty much the same as us here on the west-coast of Canada, temperate, but very wet!!..............Gawd, l'm talking about the bloody weather! far too English that, l should be going on about why Tenni's are Sooooo beautiful, and how V11's are just the best thing since sliced bread, and how they have more character than Buells/Harleys/Ducatis etc. Or at the very least roasting you and the Scurra's !! Cheers Van

    all Tenni's asleep?

Hi Rocketeer !! Ok ! Ok ! you win the "worst winter for a Tenni" award. #125 is patiently waiting for it's spring tune up, and of course warmer /dryer roads, but at least l don't have THAT kind of snow & cold to contend with. Cheers, and thanks anton for helping get us out of our winter slumber ! Cheers Van
  22. Ditto what the other guys said, l always liked Guzzi's but these are the bikes that really fired the spark !! Cheers Van
  23. Ok, so l fouled up!! l wanted to share a video clip of David Hasselhof singing "Hooked on a feeling" but l gues that my F.R.E.D. (f**king ridiculous electronic device) won't allow me to post items of such obvious poor taste.. oh well, some things are just better un-viewed l guess.. Cheers van
  24. WARNING !!!! This is NOT for the faint of heart !! you have been warned
  25. Sorry to hear 'bout your electrical troubles. lt's the shits to have things go wrong when you're trying to fix them. Why did you have to replace your rectifier in the first place? Are there any other alternators that would fit our Guzzi's if they are a weak link?? Good luck and hope that you get you beautiful Tenni fixed soon Cheers Van
