Maybe Giovanni in ltaly can help us with that? l really don't know if the factories know what happens to thier bikes once they leave the gates. ln the auto business it's alot easier to track down the units as each specific market has thier own standards, for safety etc......on bikes? l really don't know as l would think a European Guzzi would be the same as a North American one?? (and you do notice the expresion of deep devotion, and gratitute on the lucky ladies face AND notice that l'm on the winners podium......) l remembered that you had a problem with loose nuts or something awhile ago, now if you had a Tenni and would try to be a little nicer you MIGHT just get lucky and get your nuts tightened by the pretty lady once in awhile....... then you wouldn't have to be so all the time. Hi DeBenGuzzi !! welcome to the Tenni side of the street! The Tenni was produced as a tribute to Moto Guzzi's most famous racer from their glory days. The mans name was "Omobono Tenni", nicknamed "Bonomin" ("Good Man") and was, amoung other very impressive things, the first ltalian to win at the lsle of Man. The unique paint scheme is a modern representation of the great racers of the past. Green fairings, alloy (silver) tanks, the white number plate rondel, and the famous suede seat. lf l wasn't such an idiot on the computer l'd add a pic of one of the old racers with the "dustbin" fairing for your viewing pleasure... (The painting l did that l use on the Tenni Registry uses a representation of the old style Guzzi racers in the background) Try Duke video for some great old racer movies, and they even have one showing one of the 2 running MG V-8 racers doing a parade lap at the lsle of Man some years ago (and the poor rider stuffing it into the haybayles) !! Got to jump in add my worth here, l absolutely agree that red frames with alloy cases rock very pure and all, and yes the Coppa is really neat as well...just needs a LeMans fairing is all lt is impossible for ANY V11 Guzzi to have bottom feeder status, as even the Scura's are cool bikes...just some of their riders are a bit suspect ya know! true bottom feeder status goes to those riders of the Harley Bad Boy wanna-be's out there.... Ok! Ok!....so where did BFG get those pics he's trying to pawn off as Tennisti going out for a Costume Ball !!.....Ha! everyone knows that's a pic of BFG and his Fairy God Mom, before he got p*ssed on Guinness, dropped his bike in the Black Lagoon and turned over to the Dark Side!!!.....such a shame you know, the lad had such potential... Good question! this time of year our bikes are being stored more than ridden. l don't know about the centre stand issue, but does anyone know if you can you can use those bike/atv jacks that lift the whole bikes up?.............l know they make sense for a Harley or cruiser style bike that has frame rails that go under the bike, but would they work on a Guzzi V11 ??? No need to fear black hearts We over at the Tenni site have no wish to raid your gang! Why? what would we gain? , all we'd find is a bunch of dazed, frightened and confused chaps walking around (got to as their clutches have all grenaded) holding onto cans of matt black spray paint mumbling something about being gangstas and tampons or something............. My Goodness! and what you want to do with the soap l mean it's not like you wash with it or anything...... No, don't be afraid of the bright Tennistas, but rather just get used to the fact that, yes they do pamper their bikes and lavish care and attention on them, after all, Tenni's ARE just so damned cool looking, what with their real paint jobs and all, and your bikes are ,well, just black.... Pleased to meet you as a fellow Tenni owner, mine is #125 The question is a good one, as l have heard that all the clutches are the same, but the ones fitted to the Scurra's seem to especially prone to grenading. My clutch rattles just like a Ducati's, and then becomes quiet when l pull the lever in ? Are the other Tenni clutches the same? ln the mean time l am really enjoying my Guzzi experience so far Check out the Tenni registry, and l'll add your bike Cheers Van

Yes, yes, l,m sure that you think you look very pretty in your little black number, but thats really for when you dress up to go out. (don't foget to accentuate with a nice string of pearls) and don't worry about your high heels, at the speed you ride they wont be a problem...... We over at the "Tenni" site, are however very worried about your loose nuts, or was that bolts? better get then tightened up soon eh? and as for the slapper you have on, just hold on tight, it'll all come right once your nuts are tight!!! Buy the poor thing! it needs a good home l've been trying to get my brother to buy that bike for the last month but bad karma has worked against him so far, .....his loss, your gain?? reliability?? l've only had mine a year, a '02 Tenni and so far nothing but ridding bliss. Cheers Van
