Hey, No problem, we don't mind sharing!! We are not total elitists you know, besides all this a"Tenni"sion is downright flattering l do wonder how these threads get so off beat sometimes but as l'm still a relative newby at this whole forum/thread thing it's kinda fun to watch how they unfold/morph into time warps etc.. could it be the lack of proper ? too many potatoes? or too much ??, maybe all that "ing in dark & cold shops that does it..... Cheers Van

So fellow "Tennista", Have you noticed just how much B.S. and drivel there is on the "peoples Tenni" site? .... Makes me think that there are a whole bunch of "other" V11 owners who are just plain envious of our Tenni's and the special place they have in our hearts!! l mean gee-whiz, it's not that we're elitist or anything , lm sure that l speak for all of us "Tennista" when l say that some of those "other" V11's are quite nice, ln fact, l'm sure that they are all very nice!......... Really though, its good to see that the Tenni's are being talked about like this, it's kinda neat to know that we have something a little different.. Cheers Van

http://www.v11lemans.com/uploads/tenni800.jpg V11 Le Mans "Tenni" Registry The reason for the Tenni registery is to get as many Tenni owners out there as l can find and give them a site that: 1. We can get to know each other by sending in our names, pics of our bikes, the #'s of the bikes, that sort of thing. 2. We can stay in touch with all things "Tenni", the good as well as the bad. 3. We can track as many of these rare and exceptional bikes as posible; After all, they will have a special place in Moto Guzzi history, and are in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful bikes ever produced. Thanks, Cheers!! Van ////////////////////////////// EDITED BY ADMIN JAAP ON 19/01/16 ////////////////////////////// Putting the registry directly into the post instead of a downloadable PDF is much easier to maintain. Hey felix42o!! Good question, l as l haven't had to do any touch ups yet, ....while we're at the subject of paint how do you other Tenni owners look after your paint, it's not a convensional finish. l've used "Mothers" wax so far, l don't want a shine, l like the satin type finish, and how do you clean your pipes?? Cheers Van ps. do you fly those things? seems there are a few Tenni helicopter pilots out there

The new "boulevard" Buell undergoing secret testing!!! Cheers Van
-
Jealous are we?? ALL V11's rock, it's just that Tenni's are super cool Cheers Van

Hey Fernando !! bad luck with some of the troubles , but.......to replace your beautiful Tenni with a BMW (nice bike, but NO soul dude ) and a Harley you need to get that bike fitted with some nice sounding pipes, (like the Mistral oval Carbon Fibers) and get out there on a nice bit of twisty tarmac......... all will then be put into the right perspective This IS going to be a perfect spot for us Tennista as it will focus 100% on our bikes!!!!! Cheers Van
-
Hi Jaap, l've got a handle on 30 of the Tenni's so far and will get them to you thia weekend..... : bier: Cheers Van
-
Hey Belfastguzzi ! Is that a bit of Tenni envy that l detect creeping in ? so, OK, OK, so what IS that poor thing? and above all else....why? must be great in a parking lot, but out carving through the twisties.... Now l do know that some of the great unwashed masses call our beautiful machines "tractors" but , oh my God, that poor thing does look like its got a Guzzi motor in there Cheers Van
-
Don Cherry eh??? Now THAT'S Canadian Hockey !!!! Cheers Van

"Look Ma, a Tenni " ..... No junior, thats just the bike that they built to race so that one day they could take a V11 and give it a real cool paint job and name !!! Cheers Van

Ahh Canada eh!!! home of being screwed by free trade and the soft wood lumber deal, but hey, we DO have great beer, and we kick ass at hockey, and BC is our No. 1 cash crop, and very highly rated from what l've been told, and Badmotogoozer's right, everyone digs us! , see, it's 'cause we're nice, and very polite,eh? Don't worry, be happy, We all have our problems, l live in the "tropics" of Canada, on Vancouver lsland where all it does is rain........ (but l don't have to shovel it ) and at least l can get out every now and then and enjoy my Tenni, even in Febuary if the weather is dry enough... Cheers, Van

Greetings Fellow Tennisti !!!!!! Maybe its because our bikes ARE special That would be great but l don't think we're immune, Jan, a new Tenni owner (#156) from Holland just got his and had a failure So far all l've heard negative is a set of rear wheel bearings and a small oil leak at the timing cover from Orson #060, mine, #125, had a wierd starting problem, (and embarising) fixed by simply pulling the clutch switch wire up toward the handle, giving it a little more slack, and then 2 weeks ago, on what has seemed the last dry day since, as l started the beast, l noticed it smelling VERY rich, l had freek'n GASOLINE pouring all over the x-over.......made me very nervous to say the least. All l have found was the fuel hose from the tank was loose and leaking like crazy. tightened it up and no more problem.....still, makes me wonder about the other connections. Any other Tenni stories ?? Cheers Van
-
Hey V50man, Seems you got a good dealer!! Lucky!! (l have heard good things about the Harley/Buell dealer group lately) BUT IT STILL AIN'T NO V11 !! Cheers Van

Hey V50man Nice comparison, maybe l'll start to get your infatuation with this Buell thing lf she was really more like the pic you posted However !! When l look at the buell it's kinda like one of those skinny, boney, chicks , yeah maybe they can ********* but, they just DON'T have that full figured, (buxum, slim wasted, full hipped) that the V11's have. And sorry, that voice would get to me after awhile.......potatoe,potatoe,potatoe........ (you didn't really think that you could do this and not get a rubbing for it did ya)? Cheers Van
