Hi Giovanni !! from the sound of things you're as enthusiastic about your Tenni as l am about mine !! They really are great bikes !!! Cheers Van
-
170 and it's official !!! Thanks!!!! Now, all we need to do is track them all down. Have you ever been to the factory? And, is that part of ltaly good touring?? l could think of nothing better than to do some serious ltalian touring on my Tenni and get to hook up with you and other Tenni owners on the continent. till then l'll have to be content with blasting around here on the lsland with the odd trip into the mountains of BC and Washington State. Cheers Van

Oh Great ! We just get a Tenni registry going and now ALL those other special models want in on the "how many, of these did they make" deal,,, l'm kidding of course, but yes, l think that this is a great idea, it keeps track of our bikes, and puts a little extra spice in things !! did you see the Coppa ltalia with the LeMans fairing??? Cheers Van
-
Hey Mike, was the F1 you mentioned seen at the ltalian bike/car show last June at Lonsdale Quay in North Van?? if so that bike (very tasty, and VERY CLEAN ) was bought by a good friend of mine and now has a home here on the lsland ! Cheers Van

A TENNI SUBVERSIVE !!!! Well see its like this, when you finally get the bike you've always wanted, AND then it turns out that it is a very limited production run ( 165 or so ) AND it is the most beautiful bike you've ever seen! Well then lm sure yiu all know why l'm so damn enthusiastic ! Besides, these things NEED to be looked after !! Now all we need is some MORE Tenni's for our list !! and of course pics etc from their lucky owners ! Cheers Van

So you just HAD to go out and do it eh?? l'll bet you were the kinda kid that stuck his fingers in a light socket even after your mom told you not to oh well, there's ONE in every crowd Enjoy the ride mate !!!, and tell all about it, (they are sorta cool, l'll admit) BUT THEY AIN"T NO ITALIAN V11 !!!! GUZZI'S RULE !! (especially green Tenni's) Cheers Van
-
Hi all, HOW MANY TENNI'S PRODUCED ?? Good question ) l was told by MG USA 150, l've been in touch with # 165 who told me that the production was 150 and then increased to 165, and now our friend in ltaly tells me 170!!!! So l figure that 165-170 IS the number,.........a pretty exclusive production run don't ya think?? l will be posting the list of Tenni owners l've found so far this evening, ( that work thing getting in the way of my more serious pursuits ) Cheers, Van ps. This is GREAT to have a spot just about Tenni's , on this fantastic forum, again, thanks Jaap..

Mistral Carbon fiber ovals Look great, sound great, go great Ahh the sound..........being stuck up here in at the far end of the continent l have had very little chance to hear all those other Guzzi exhausts (none), but the Mistrals just make my bike SOUND like a Guzzi should. that good !! Cheers Van

Now, how about all you Tenni owners out there getting hold of me with pics of you with your beautiful bikes, and their #'s. so that we can put them on this site !! Cheers, Van

Hi Jaap, by now you probablly know how l feel about Tenni's wub: l would really welcome all and any help you would give me to get the registry up and going properlly..... all l have in mind is to get as many as posible Tenni owners to have a common spot to 1) track these rare and wonderful machines that will be an interesting part of Guzzi history 2) give the Tenni owners a spot to discuss anything Tenni 3) let us know who they are, where they are from, what #their bikes are and to send in some pics of their bikes in their home settings Lets face it ,we all get why we love these great machines, (even though some of us do get a bit dazed and confused about Buells) so anything to enjoy them even more is a good thing Cheers Van
-
all very nice ok, l'll fess up, just about any sporting Guzzi looks cool cheers Van

Hi Steve, Van on the lsland here, you're right #125 did find a very welcoming home here. Campbell River to be exact. The other Tenni, # 139, found a home all the way across Canada in Thunder Bay. This Tenni Registry thing is almost up and going and should be web site on its own with all the important links in the very near future. More info to follow, Cheers, and as you are pretty close, keep in touch, if you ever come to the island, the Gold River Road IS a top 10 in the province and worth the ride (90 kms of curves each way) cheers Van

TENNI Owners Unite!!!! Van here, Tenni # 125 As some of you will know l'm trying to get this Tenni registry going and so far have had reasonable success, with a total of 28 bikes found. more on this later as l have to go earn a crust and am late already Cheers Van

All this STILL going on?? ln the July issue of "SPORT BIKE 2005" (a Cycle World publication) there is a very interesting article under the very apropriate heading,"Charisma,a quartet of alluring alternative twins" in which they test and rate 4 V-twin bikes that have "it", BMW R100S MG V11 Coppa Italia Buell Firebolt XB12R MZ 1000S They conclude that the Guzzi is the winner! the one that has the CHARISMA !!!! Plus, all three of the testing editors chose the Guzzi as their personal favorite l think that that about wraps it all up my friends GUZZI'S RULE !!!!! cheers, Van
-
Hi Orson !! All this Tenni stuff is making me quit giddy !!!!! That chin spoiler is great, l've seen one other on a Japanise Tenni...very cool !! Cheers Van, Tenni # 125

Hey Martin, Thanks!! and very pleasd to add them to the growing register!! Cheers mate Van

My Goodness, all this talk about some poor misguided soul who has a feeling that he should go over to the dark side.....sigh, l still think it's a case of you want what you cant always get, ( yeah , like my day dreams about that certain 6 ft supermodel with the legs that go on forever and the great big set of..............) ah sorry, got carried away there for a second. Anyway, l'ts kinda like, that, this side of the pond Harleys are a dime a dozen, and in other parts of the globe they are "oh my God! so exotic" Go for the Buell my friend But don't forget that no amount of U.S. V-twin, even wrapped in an Italian made frame, can EVER compare with a true classic like "our" proper V-11's Guzzi's Rule !! Cheers, Van, Tenni #125

mg: Mike you nailed the look of your bike with your beautiful machine ! it just "looks right" you must be proud to have been the 1st bike of the month. And now, a Tenni as the bike of the month !!!! FANTASTIC !! Giovanni, your Tenni looks great in it's natural setting, The whole family of LeMans Guzzi's are some of the most beautiful bikes ever created and the V11"s are at the very top, as they bring all the best eliments of what makes a Guzzi special, into the modern age. l'm sure that all those other Tenni owners are going to enjoy looking at #60 as much as they like to look at their own bikes. l have now found, #'s 021 024 026 027 029 031 033 037 038 039 044 046, all in Japan 060, in Italy 061, in Italy/U.K./Saudi 076, in Germany 125, me,in Canada 128, the USA 132, the USA 139, in Canada 154, in the Netherlands 165, l,m not really sure pretty cool eh? Cheers, Van
-
