  1. Boy, lotsa info on pipes!!!! My stock pipes cracked at the flair to the canister, so l replaced them with a set of GREAT sounding Mistral Carbon Fiber ones. Look great, sound great, l Love them Cheers, Van and don't forget all those Tenni owners! Get in touch!!
  2. Gee whiz.....so many Buell fans on the Guzzi site?? Ok.Ok. l'll conceed that the Buells do have a certain something, like a great booming exhaust note, a powerful air cooled, motor with push rods, and...gee, they are starting to sound just like the bike l know and love!! ah, sorry, cool as they may seem to some, THEY AIN"T ITALIAN !!!!!!! Van proud owner of Tenni #125
  3. A Buell or a Guzzi??? The fact that they both have air cooled V-twin motors is about all they have in common. A Guzzi is a bike with flare, class, styling, and a genuine heritage, while the poor Buell's are still strugling through an identity crisis. Sure, to some on the Continent a Buell may seem exotic, but generally this side of the pond they are accepted by neither the sport bike faternity, nor the Harley types, as they don't seem to fit in either category. Ride down the road on a Buell, and try to get a Harley rider to give you a freindly wave....it aint gonna happen!! Like wise pitch up at racer road among all those Go-faster hyper bikes and the riders will all look at you as a Harley wanta-be trying to look racer cool on an oddity. Besides, those over funded Buell teams (powered by Harley cash) keep trying to take those land speed records away from their rightfull Guzzi owners.....the cheek!! Cheers !! Van,Tenni #125 ps. dont forget to help me track down those Tenni's, so far l've found 18 of the 165 produced
  4. Hello fellow Tennisti !!! It is awesome to chat with other fine fellows who have the ultimate in fine and refined taste, not only do you have, and love Guzzi's, but you are guzzista of the "tenni order" !!! Fellow Tenni riders as far away as Saudi,#061, and Montana,#165 !! Say Martenni, as your Tenni is # 165 of what you say they increased the production run to, then you would have the last Tenni ever made!!!!!! how neat is that!! It seems that rear wheel bearing failure is a common feature, mine are still ok although l only have about 6000kms. Also sad to say, mine did not come with the suede seat. l thought about that and as we live in a pretty wet climate thought that the suede would be a drag in the rain? what are they like ?? My black seat is surprisinglly comfortable but has a small tear on the rear edge (partially covered by the cowl) Cheers Guys, Van

  6. :mg:Hi Francesco!! So tell me, is the T132 for Tenni #132?? l guess that explains the Tenni #154 in Holland!! Montana eh? that's really not TOO far away, son of a gun, we're almost neighbours!...and any way you travel, you would have to cover some of the best roads/scenery around. Thanks for the reply and keep in touch' Cheers Van

    ebay Tenni?

Count yourself a very lucky Guzzi rider. The Tenni's are a great bike and as with all Guzzi's, full of character. On my understanding they only produced 150 of these fabulous and unique machines. l am the proud owner of tenni #125, What is your Tenni's no. ?? l am also trying to get a registry going of these scarce and beautiful machines so let me know the no. To my knowledge there are only (2) Tenni's in Canada, l've found (1) in Saudia Arabia,(1) in Holland, and (12) in Japan !! Cheers! Van
  8. Great to talk to another Tenni owner!! l got the part about the paint scheme, l love it! keep in touch Cheers Van

Hello from the Island!! Guzzi's rule is all l can say. l always wanted one and after years of great service out of my beautiful "82 R100S l jumped ship and got an '02 V11 LeMans "Tenni"..............bloody awesome!! and great bike are just the start! They have a certain "something" that is far greater than the specs would have you believe.........call it true character, and the sound they make IS music. Cheers, Van on Vancouver Island
  11. Hi! Van here, l got my Tenni last year from the local dealer in Vancouver and mine had what l thought were the stock cans (pretty ratty as the right hand can was cracked) dark coloured, they could be aluminum but were an almost purple/blue/grey colour. Much to quiet and civilized for my taste so l replaced them with a set of really great sounding Mistral carbon fiber ones.....ahh, the sound of them is music to my ears!!! They are also less than half the weight of the stock pipes. l think that the Tenni is one of the best looking bikes ever, a real hoot to ride, and is certainly very unusual in it's colour scheme. How has yours been so far? mines still in the early stages with just over 6000 km's and so far been an absolute pleasure to ride. (great for letting Harleys know what a real V twin should sound like, and for giving Monsters a fright) Does anyone know how many Tenni's were built?? is the number of only 150 right ?? Tenni owners unite!!!! Cheers, Van, proud owner of Tenni # 125
  12. Thanks !! the pics you took were in Ireland ? looks alot like the country side here! l'm sure that you have alot more twisties though. We are right on the 50th parallel. Cheers !! Van
  13. Hi Erin!! Van here from Vancouver Island Canada. Great pics! Always nice to get a flock of Geese together for a ride. l noticed a "Tenni" in the group, could you please let them know that l'm trying to put together a Tenni register and l'd really like to know the owner of that beautiful machine, and what # they are. l'm #125 and as far as l know, the only 2 Tenni's in Canada are me and #139 in Thunder Bay Ontario, about 3500 km's away!! Nice to chat to you, Van

    another newbie

:mg:Hi everyone, Well l finally did it and got the bike i've always wanted, a LeMans! And to make it even better it's a "Tenni". l know that all Guzzi's are beautiful, but l think that the LeMans is ,for me, the escence of "Guzzi". l made the plunge last Christmas and bought Tenni #125. So far we are still in honeymoon stage, but l must say that the bike just plain rocks!!! l love it !! Anyway, just thought l would say hello, and l look forward to being part of the Guzzi experience, and to being a regular contributer. Is there a Tenni registery? Can l steart one if there isin't? l believe that Guzzi only made 150 of these beautiful bikes worldwide? l think that there are only 2 in Canada, l think that the other is #139 in Thunder Bay Ontario. Me? l'm a very lucky guy who lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. One of the most beautiful spots around and, for our northern endge of the world, blessed with pretty descent weather, (far too wet, but what the heck) Cheers everyone!! Eugene
