    San Diego Fires

Here's wishing all our friends in the So Cal area aren't affected by these fires, .....l'm not making light of this but l do wish we couild send you some of our rain (we have WAY to much)...l did hear that we sent down one of the 2 remaining MARS water bombers to help fight the flames, (they are stationed a couple of hours away from where we live and l've seen them in action.......unbelievable !!) Van
  2. and the problem with this is what exactly?????? Cheers Van
  3. ....The Universe is getting back to perfect harmony in some quarters.......... VIVA the BOKS !!!!! l know its late, but l've been away.........talked to some Brits who watched the game, they said it was a rubbish game!........didn't see it so l can't say Cheers Van
  4. BFG ole buddy, you and l DO agree on some of the most important things !!!!.... Cheers Van

    Moto Guzzi Monza

Sheesh........... , all this talk about British Racing Green, which in itself is a very nice colour, ...looks stunning on old Lotus race cars and some Jags etc. l think it looks iffy on the Triumph Sprint but thats just me....) and making a comparison with that MOST beautiful of ALL greens, the one that adorns the Tenni's Cheers van
  8. ........and he did this because?? and l'm not so sure about the craftsmanship, those "cylinders" look like they are not angled properly, although he "nailed" the suspension...... Cheers van

    Moto Guzzi Monza

Yep, there is just that certain something SPECIAL about " That Tenni green".... Cheers Van
  10. l gotta agree with you on this, alot of these things seem minor (yes l'm sure they are a piss off) and they should be delt with at dealer level. l'm a car dealer and l know that although things SHOULD be perfect from the factory and they mostly are, there are always a few things that slide through, and thats what a warranty is for, for the dealer to fix things and put them right so that they (the dealer) and the factory have a satisfied customer...... Then again there is the strange fact that what is one mans meat is anothers poison....... l got my Tenni from a dealer here in Vancouver ( who l dont get service from, l go to a dealer twice as far but who gives me excepional service) That dealer got the bike from who got it back from a disgrunteled customer/dealer...........the first owner didn't like/was unsatisfied with the bike and l love the damn thing!!....for me it was the bike l always wanted, and it has done everything l have asked of it to date with out any problems (l kinda hate to say this as l don't want to jinx the bike) but there you have it !! Good luck with getting it sorted !!! Cheers Van
  11. DITTO !!!... .... I'm also of the opinion that the V11 is great as a long distance machine,...WAY more comfy than my old BMW R100S. The foot pegs in their semi rear set position ease the angle between my back and legs, which is where l find l get cramped. Check out to see how ORSON has his Tenni set up, he travels big distances. Cheers Van
  12. Ahh,..........all would appear to be well with the world then !!!!! This proves that there is some PROPER order to the universe, you see, like when the "colonies" give the old team a thrashing or like when Canada gives the U.S. a solid beating in Hockey...... then, all is well ! Cheers Van
  13. .....you're right!!!!........ Cheers Van

  15. Does Guzzi have a connection to the aircraft industry...... Cheers Van
  16. Oh yeah, l forgot to add my brothers bike, he's got an MV 910 Brutale, ........Luke Skywalkers X-Wing fighter............ That thing is totally Starwars but l still like my tenni best, l can relate to it l guess. Cheers Van
  17. on my way to work today l was thinking that my Guzzi was the bike version of one of my favorite WW11 planes a F4U Corsair ......big, heavy, powerful air cooled motor, fast and surprisingly nimble, l've always thought of my bikes like that. My old R100S Beemer was like a Forke Woolfe, again a radial air cooled motor, and at a steady cruise it had a droning throb very much like a DC4...yep, l'm that old, flew in that across to Canada when l was a kid My son's Katana 750 like a sabre jet with that Yoshie pipe the way it screemed 750 Honda, like a Mustang P51 350 Yamaha, like a Kamakazi Zero, (the thing kept on trying to kill me) 250 Suzuki Hustler, like a WW1 SPAD, loud, rorty AS50 Suzuki, like a little Pitts Special, wind it till it can't give any more and let fly..... (ok, so maybe it's just me and l was having one of "those" daze..... ) Cheers Van

  21. Canada vs Wales, ...Canada did great, then.......oh well South Africa vs Samoa, as it should be Everything really going as expected save for the Argentia vs France game. Seems tha popular vote is going with the All Blacks, but did l mention that l'm cheering for the SPRINGBOKS, ...something about that green that reminds me of the Tenni Cheers Van
  22. you tell'em Jaap !! if we want to discuss real "proper" violence, go to the "who's going to win the World Rugby Cup" thread As for bar shake, l've never really had a problem with that on the Tenni, maybe the short bars on the LeMans don't shake as bad?? Cheers Van
