First impressions on Frey-Daytona roadstar GTX boots. Well what can I say , better than expected, I allready have a couple of Daytonas which the build and leather quality are excellent (their protection even more) belonging to the "racing line" of this brand's boots (daytona winner & Evo Sports.) I thought of having a boot for everyday and that would be no other than the Roadstar GTX gtx stands for goretex, as there is waterprotection as well. looking from the outside all wee see is leather and there are 2 zippers for better opening of the shoe, inside there is another extra shell with a second cover of the Goretex mambrane.,this will also add some comfort feel to the boot when wearing it. shape is quite thin and stily. The profile of the boot is isn't so high (29cm) but on the front side (31cm as on others) therfore adding practicality without loosing any front side protection. It is quite thin compared with some sidis and Alpinestars I had , so wearing pants without side zippers isn't any hassle to put them over the boots as well. The best thing about them that makes them some clicks on the upper class for everyday boot is the comfort, i have a problem with my feet so I can get tired easy when standing, but these outside soles with the dots made all night and day difference, between all the boots I had till now tried . Very easy to walk and quite sticky as well against water, or when walking onto other slippery surfaces , such as mosaic and so on. I could walk with these for hours, got so excited I wrote this review. There are protection for the front foot toes front & sideways and a bit at the upper side all around (feels like metal or so in there) so does on the back heel. for more visit their page it is as they say it. I would give these boots the following points Build quality: 9.5/10 comfort . 10/10 Safety . 8.5/10 ( 10/10 gets the evo series with the inner carbon shell) value for money 10/10

Wellcome to the forum and congrats for your bike, allways ride safe.!! Well , there are nice blockes around here and no matter the question, i don't think it would be concidered stupid or whatever, you see we're not "smarta$$es" here. Some have more experience and some less but it is always some fun hanging around here.

6-16 down here with sun and clouds-. Normal.

I see a couple on "silly banders place" and on Tenni forum posted...Not my authority there , ther's nothing I can do.

Torgue is 0.8-1.2kgm don't know how this trnaslates to Nm, a criss cross pattern would be ok for the covers, gradually tightening them., there isn't any big deal about them since the right torgue and a pattern is applied.

Guzzi has allready made the MGS01 wich prouces this power on the wheel. Theme is to get it into production.O.K. the specs on can say, with a new 4V motor IF they decide doing it it is possible at last to hae these PS on the "pappers"
-
The one reason that kept me riding Guzi is (except the motor and other shapes) is that it doesn't follow any trends , just for the shake, it's original.

That's the right way about it. I ussually get to 25% up to 40%less than retail..I find around in shops There was always a first time , but now I have a couple of providers that are trustworthy and have fast service and I shop from them. Just recived my Daytona "Road-StarGTX" from my trustee seller in Germany, price was 199Eur.+post 17 , fresh from factory and the sizes Dayto uses are compatible with what I always was wearing. hink it will be very nice allround everyday boot. Fit &shape are great.

Yea go ahead and fix it , it is so nice to have a such nice community here and members help each other.

I don't know , tell them to f***k off ,to tell you the truth I get this lotto spams all over the time, in only one of my hotmail accounts I don't use much for long time now... I tried and reported these spams to the junk filter but they pass all the time.Perhaps with the use of a email antispam programm to be able to knock these adresses out automatically. Yes I use adaware and spyboot as well , but that's not it what I talk about. Visit www.download.com and prss on the search anti spam email and so on and you'll find something even for free that will work in collaboration with your email. If you need to crack it tll me and I'll tak care of it

Speaking of SIDI you have to have in mind that their numbes are different than normal sizes i.e. I wear 43 in all shoes and boots but for SIDI, I had to go 44 to get my feet in,
-
Yeah that's crap , perhaps to have some application in high speed hot weather, F1 class, as nitrogen can remain more volume-steady than air.But for the real world it's a bit of too much theory and no difference
-
Nice price tag.! Don't you want to wait for the 8V? Heh , just ..
-
I have tried many and they were all crap , from various Guzzi shops , some "supposed" to be original and some aftermarket. Some of them are "made in China" with bottom life three months (yes I have seen them too) My last order was from Agostini I have no idea what they are but the quality is excellent , after one year with many kms done (=working hours), and little propper maintenence (bit of vaseline on the rubber from time to time) they look as good as new. I suggest you order from them as many claim they have original parts but they're just crap. nevertheless Ago' has originals and I think that the ones I got were not just a "good" portion of where the company makes them, that "happened" to be OK (some have claimed that to excuse what they sold me),but all are just OK. Check them out from Ago's

Perhaps you should visit ZTK ot the new listed but believe me it will be and they have it. Yes prices are for new machines ,read and weep.
-
Yeah, I send it to it's origin, dunno where it came from.
-
I "ve sent it back to Japan...
-
Yeah most questions I"d say, and it can be having 2x meanings in oppossiite directions even on same answer. That"s why I saved me the time of answering and imrpovised a result.

I hope you do , since you had it you know what you are missing .I remember collecting as many pics as I could before buying mine and I had one of yours with the luggage accesory at the back, used to sit on my chair and looking them for hours till I had bought one for myself. And now with my chips around you won"t have a tunning problem either....hehehehe. Yeah I was sick and tired about all the crap chips that was out on the market, I wonder how people where buying these stuff....anyways.
-
Yes , unless you"re a perfectionist and you know what you want ,putting up a 80-85 bhp bike on a dyno for extra tunning for a couple ps more it is an unnecessary cost. The ti ECU is a ready solution from Guzzi ; now either you take it or not.But getting it and make extra tunning at extra cost is going to cost you money. So either you get the Ti ecu or you don"t and someway do "your own" (dyno, PCIII, tune boy -whatever)mapping on the existing one or don"t tune it at all. That"s my As far as versions go I don"t know if there was a pre 2000 ECU Ti version.
-
As far as I"m concerned I have made the right decision and chose to "invest" some money saved for a "maybe new Guzzi" on a timeless piece, (yes Antonio I did it , life is here and now , y"know ?not in some f****ng waiting list) ,sick and tired waiting. And I"m happy I did so,-no more waiting worries for so called MGS1s -2's 3"s ...you name it. I don't like to be used as a customer or being on a "dreaming waiting list", "P**s off I said and moved on!!. They can shove their emissions up their.... As far a bikes concerned I could buy a Sport corsa anytime, I know it , I can tune it and the riding feel is the best I've ever have experienced NO I don"t need any other and that's finnal. So be my guest pal be my guest
-
Don;t listen to him he's been itto his own tunning lattely and perhaps says a bit advanced things. 1. The Ti slip ons with the ti ECU that comes with the set will fit in your bike (ECUwise talking it will work) 2. Tune boy is a programm that allows you to modify and download injection maps to your bikes ECU, concidering that you have found somewhere the mapping of the Ti ECU therefore you could copy the map to your "normal " ECU without having to install a completelly other ECU. Choices are simple. Think what"s in it for me for the reason you want to do that to your bike, ,sound , originality as well , a tight budget thing? And there you"ll come with some answers.
