Ferracci & MV To Race US Superbike In '07!
Alex-Corsa replied to helicopterjim R.I.P.'s topic in 24/7 V11
Well MV will do a version for the public (exclusive public) MV Agusta F4 C.C. Velocissima, esclusiva, unica and these words mean : Questa CosterĂ 100 mila euro , Yep it can be "anyones" with 100Grand (ED. darn,,with these money I can get a DB8 vantage ) And the rest is just numbers 1078cc ,190PS *goes to 200 with an open exhaust, and a respectable 315km/h Yep pop in and go race. -
what's this 'strange' bike just before the red one?
-
I don't mean do be a world beater but to retain it's original character. 'Stealing' customers' good or bad isn't on the 'original' side that Guzzi supposed to be.

Ballancing should be done at the right way ant with the right values (TPS voltage) for every ECu needed. For my Sport 1100i Corsa these are TPS volt. at = = 150mv +-10 and with the rods connected 385mv+-10 at the stock IAW 1.6M Tricky part is to set the 2 values of tPS , one with the TBs dissconnected and on zero deg and the other with the TBs connected at 3.2-3.6 deg. 1.I quick synchronise the TBs with the vacum meter and then I adjust the 1st TPS voltage at 0 deg at set the pot tight at it's place. 2 .Then I do connect the TBs and adjust the TPS voltage by screwing-unscrewing that spoon like holder that joins doth TB's (right end of the connecting bar), with the assist of 2 pliers 3.Then I do a further synchronisation (micro adjustment-since I had done a sync at the start)) of the white screw head on the left side, as well as the air bleeds and it is ready. I have done so many synchs that I can adjust the airbleeds by ear if I don't have a vacum meter (but only these) As I said the tricky part is to have both voltages at both positions correct. Explanation Occasion 1 Now if you set the voltage at 0 deg correct and then when the TB's are connected you move again the potentiometer to set the new value, the game is lost at 0 deg the voltage will change.,once set at 0 it should be hold in that place. That's why I do step 2 adjustment.(Why you think there is a screwing holder over there? ) Occasion2 Now, assuming that even at both positions the TPS was the same and not any movement of the pot needed (in case you don't do the step 2 way) When synchronising with the white head screw of the left side you will again move the TBsenough so that the voltage will also change for good. That's why I do step no.1 with a pre synchronisation the next synchronisation will only need a micro adjustment of the screw and the voltage will stay as 'unchanged' as possible. Now as you see in both occations you'll have the TPS voltage as close as it should be. Important is, the engine temp as all should be done at engine temps of 53-80 C' deg, and with new set valve clearences.. Lattely I don't check TPs at every synchronisation but once every 6-8 months-. So there you have it. A motor that will idle better than ever before and fuel consumption will be better as well. There is a third occasion if you use a diagnostic programm that gives you the acces to adjust TPS from there, then perhaps you don't have to do synchron. this way since you can buypass and adjust the TPS through the programm.

Yes, I guess you are right, but enough with these BMW customer targeting. They are supposed to also make Guzzis for the Guzzisti. The market-world needs Leaders ,not followers
-
Dunno if google lies but according to my Guzzi books it is correctly as Guzzirider said a Leman IV The V had 18'' wheels both front and back. This is a Leman-5

How can one save these vids to the PC? I think they must exist to a temp folder and their format is it .flv?

I voted the V8 but that's the most unlikely to happen .I woul be Great to reveal a MGS1 bike, what I see more likelly is a 1200 Griso thing. Though they could combine the last 2 (MGS and 1200S motor) and present something 'touchable' for us dedicated Guzzisti...Hehe tht can't happen either cause of the new motor design that requires new frame. So the a road legal MGS would be ''easier' but I doupt that either.

Hey Toni thre is no G&B Furia in the pool , is only the Supertwin

I think you have to order a Guzzi Oil filter, wrench tool from http://www.agostiniduilio.com , They have a custom made cheap one for $15 (except from the expencive original Guzzi one) and it fits the filter better thsan the original I suggest you first check out the MPH cycles if they have anything available fo that job. The UFI filter number of the Guzzi oil filteris the 23-287-00 (that's what's the number writing on it), and the part number of the Guzzi part in the catalogue is: 30 15 30 00. http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/ufi.shtml So chill-out there's no big deal about it.
-
Why not apply a clear coat on them AFAIK the slip onns don't get hot enough to destroy the coat (or do they?) , and as claimed all these new varishes are offering UV protection.
-
Check these out , seem to be unbreakable http://esquad.fr/film.php?version=en , made from a new material..

The OEM oil filter is UFI and the number of the filter on UFI is 23-287-00, if you go to any shops who sells them then this is the numbe you should ask, the part number (on Guzzi cataloge) of the oil filter for your Guzzi is 30 15 30 00 . If you unplug the round cover fo your sump to get to the filter then you will need the O'ring (no 28 of page A4 on the catalogue) part no.=90 70 69 48. Do your self a favor and visit MPHcycles sponsors on this site (top left) and download the parts catalogue for you bike on the parts manuals section. For removing this filter I have bought an aftermarket oil filter wrnch-key from Agostini they had also the original but this one was quite cheap for $15. Perhaps you should ask at MPH over there I recon they would have what you need for your Guzzi.

1 V11 Manual 2. Nope 3.About synchronisation but briefly injector coild and sencors , promptiong to other sections, ect.ect. The synchronisation has been covered in the forum much better and more extencive than in the book, it only mentions to have the throtle position at 3.2-3.6 deg, oil temp. at 80C' and measure the CO trim to 3-3.5%motr idle, at the exaust and rim with the diagnostic software,or the trim potentiometer of the ECU.

I bought a bunch of manuals here ,buying one for just one pound each is a bargain and the quality is excellent. Take care though in multiple manual buy there are extra additional costs 1.5 quid for each (Ebay UK) , still bargain price , and James is a friendly seller, I got more than 10 and gave me a couple more as a bomus.

The 1100 Sport carb and the ie share the same design that was latter put into the Daytona RS as well. This is a refinment to the first Daytonas and , cause it was adopted to the newer DaytonasRS, As a result the Daytona is close to the Sport 1100 which at the end has dominated the shaping. People often ask me what model is my bike , when I tell them that this design first cam up in '93-'94 they flip- With this in mind I set my question, be as it may.

How about a video with onboard camera on the V8 doing the Isle of Man round with Bill Lomas on it? and of cource in colour.!!

Farting produces Electriciy
Alex-Corsa replied to Alex-Corsa's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
Yes that goes for the cows -
Global warming my a$$ , the news are good (at least for the cows...yet again) Didn't I tell you that cows produce more methane a week than a Range Rover a year? Well this time things can change!!! Read here following relative article here now you know why they have so many in Swiss I could have posted that in global warming topic ,but I think that topic is already doomed in it's CO.

I thimk you forgot the 1100i Sport

One bit of info , between WBO2 sensors is found here , from th people of Innovate that they also provide WBO2 sensors to some Dynos (i.e. Mustang) A very interesting read from a great forum http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/forums/...hlight=accurate Reading 8th post from top from ''Klatinn'' VP. of the company ,goes: Hi, One VERY important thing to consider when comparing your wideband to a dyno is the fact that a typical dyno samples AFR not by time, like the LM-1, but by RPM. On an inertial dyno the RPMs on a run are not constant, but a sweep from low RPMs to high. Any response time issue of the Wideband with that sampling method will show as a shift of the recorded AFRs to higher RPMs. This is specially true for the vacuum pump WB setups. A few users have tested those and found delays of up to 2 seconds. If the whole dyno run lasts only 5 seconds, the idle AFRs will be recorded by the dyno over the first couple of thousand RPMs and will show up as lean reading at the lower RPMs. In the case of a slow wideband setup on an RPM sweep, it is not a matter of accuracy, but a matter of correlation between RPM changes and the time the wideband takes to react. Regards, Klaus I hope this solves any missunderstandings about WBO2s posted before. ..So the is a difference it's not the accuracy in general, but how is that translated in time cause of the way each works..

TPS voltage is the Throttle Position Sensor voltage. The TPS (sensor ) is located at the top of your right Throttle body with 2 screws. This sensor gives output in voltage and determines to the ECU where or in which position the trottle is..Higher voltage higher throttle degree openings. When this is calibrated right a 0 degress (150mv +-10) and at 3.8 throttle pos degrees around 550mv (for the V11) Simple hint about it is Leave it alone ,especially the screws attaching it to the throttle body a small movement of screws is likelly to affect the pot even a tiny bit This pot is very sencitive and even a tiny move on it's base ,will change the output voltage dramatically and you don't want this.Only for someone with the practical experience is something to deal with. TPS.pdf You mean these , Air and Oil temprature sensors output SensorOutput.zip Taken from the V11 manual

The TB synchronization has to be done in sertain Engine tempratres. At the instructional workshop Guzzi video I have the 53'+ C' degrees is stated , generally I would say that 53-83 C' degr. engine temp. should be then when synchronising the TB's and setting idle Once set right you don't have to fiddle with it often (except for hobby-Guzzihondria issues.. )

A visit in Mandello for a Guzzisti is always a nice experience, besides, the train station of Mandello is direct out of the factory,so won't be hard to find it . Museum is open after 14:00 (if I can recal correct) Mo-Fr. P.S. Oh , I forgot , be equiped with a foto camera for lots of pics.
