Ich hoffe das du gesund und in ''einwandfrei zustand'' bist Most important is that you to be O.K. Don't worry about the ''metals'' they can always be repaired to new condition. So write the when .what , how, latter on.

Which means?... the hot weather and so on, well that sometime is just a myth. There are freezing temps all the years.Sometimes snow in March as well. Well, not so long lasting as in northen places.

I want this soooo bad

Nope I think ,they're not the same (except if you have installed these as extra) as in 999 (S & R ) versions and perhaps the 999as well. same as i.e. the Öhlins of the 999S are different from the 999R. Only the S4R testastretta has radial brembos , though with different brake pump as it seems to me than the 999 series, -
I use this Kleen-flo Supreme Gas Line Anti-Freeze (Winter products) It says it is Methyl hydrate free , though ,and preserves engine from vapor lock in the summer as well as prevent frozen gas lines, it also absorbs water in the gas tank.

I second that. And something more , these (999)are track bikes, and espcially the S and R models (dunno if that's for the 'simple' 999 well) do have brakes you they can be usefull ONLY on track with strong braking but precalculated. These brakes bite exessively strong, so that they are dangerous for street use, they can block easily in almost any speed after a point (that is much earlier than on our Brembo Guzzis). So there one can have an accident after a braking either with few , or more km/h , seen both happened and that was ugly. And all were experienced riders with lots and lots of track days in their ''acount''. Besides no matter how wonderfull these Ducatis can look (only with their fairings on of cource) 1. They are made for the track and that's were they belong. 2. Have became like the japan 'philosophy' supersport bikes (change them every a couple of years) 3. Too tight and expencive service ,that MUST be done in the (latest) km's as the factory orders. (or else they brake) They are moey pits. If you really want a potent and classic Duke Sportbike get a 916 series thing -

Cool Will try finding some resources for this bike, though that can be hard for a company officialy existed for only a decade. P.S. Do I get any decorating point for my sig ?.... LOL -

O.K. Then this has to be (is) a Buchet of around 1903 a parallel twin (cause they were doing twins) with around 3000cc (2976cc 111B- 13.6Str.) 4 stroke engine And a speed record holder for the Kilometer run They also have developed a 4245cc parallel twin around that time for racing, Alessandro Anzani also raced Buchet works as well as he latter developed a W3 engine Well? Thanks for giving me another chance. -
I think so as well

O.K. 2T are the bikes that burn oil (i.e. GP 500 bikes 125, 250 , see Doohan and co.) 4T are all other . After studying the pic I think that has to be a Bougery. Engine that starts with pedals , one of the first Frensh bike manufacturers. Not so likelly to be a Barre cause they did tricycles at the time (I think). But I wouldn't be surprized if it was a Buchet or Bouchet (dunno which is correct writing.) -
Yep and if you try www.mobile.de (have modified the search to hit V11's ) there are plenty more. That's where I have found mine And there are some more in www.motoscout24.de as well P.S. Damn , there is a lovelly Corsa (no.167.)in ebay UK , but I'm afraid that's too far away for me,too out of season and too unplanned to mess around with the auction and get it. Where is this Orkney anyways.?

I understood , I just want to clear up that is 99% the dealer to blame than the factory and in this occation don't know what the factory could do to correct it.
-
Thanks pal , will do.

I believe it's mostly a dealer problem , than a company problem (at least nowdays). It's about how much is a dealer concerned to do the job right , order the parts fast,ect.ect. and the rest is only bull they say to the customers and blame the company. Because they want to wait 'till their list is full for parts , in order to complete a big list and then start it. That's what's happening 99% of the times. It NEVER took me more than a couple of weeks(tops) to have any part I wanted for my 'old' Sporti and I always have ordered them from thousand miles away, whether that was Italy , Germany, or U.K. So let's get serious.

100 HP but not in the wheel I suppose.Perhaps with that racing kit that they will also offer then that's possible (and perhaps more than that if the made their homework right)
-
What nice pic, do you have more of these, or in bigger resolution?

The Griso has a 1100 Engine, Eruo 3 specs , is a lot of crap , but who's going to let his bike like this , anyways. Guzzi never had a 1100 20 years ago, the first 1100 saw the light of production in '94. I really doupt about what the mags say to be all times right ,and a dynomometer never really measures the whole potential of a bike. Is just a curve in sertain RPM at TP deg at the moment (measuring somekind of acceleration through time).

It's got the Norge heads , I suppose the bike has 1151cc or so. Now put on a couple of Mistrals and tune the map from Euro 3 to Euro 0 specs and there you get 100Whp at least, for sure. That's cool.

I don't know about the red line thing , though I have tried the Castrol MTX 75-140W and stoped the leakage in my back bevel to a 90% (except if I ride fast in highway speeds 140-150kmh) Obviously there have to be changed some gaskets there sooner or latter but this oil i so good. It was suggested to me from a very good mechanic , not for stoping leakages but for great performance gear box and bevel oil for my Guzzi.

All the pdf. books found on the http://www.servicemotoguzzi.com/IndexGuzzi.asp are user manuals , not WORKSHOP manuals, that he is selling. The V11 Official Workshop is impossible to find in pdf in English.(I have all versions in Italian,Frensh and Spanish only) As well as the 1100i Sport DaytonaRs doesn't exist in .pdf in English(except mine..lol ,have the book as well.) And as I se that is what he sels Workshop repair manuals and not user maintainance books.
-
It's not my rules , It is the official Guzzi workshop manual identification. KS is the vechicle type, the next 2 numbers are for the variant (don't know how that can be translated) the next 2 numbers are for version (also don't know the translation of these). But the YEAR of manufacturing is the 1st letter that comes after the numbers (KS0000). IF you are confused I will try finding out what your bike id is by asking to the factory in Mandelo , but this can take sometime till they answer me, O.K.?
