Well I think I didn't write it as I should , so here is what I meant, Compared to the Z6 the BT 20 is just a piece of wood in terms of grip.
-
A bad idea is to mix different brands of tires especially when worn. You have to get rid of the BT 20's especialy the front. Compared to grip with the Z6,(the BT 20) is just a piece of wood(IMO and as well as other testers opinions) Milliage compared, I don't know cause my Z6's are new but I estimate they could be a bit less than the BT's (10- 15% ) Remember you are on 2 wheels only , better safe than sorry..

Thanks Paul and thnks Big J for the ideas. I'll check out , Where is a will there is a way , I hope you find the way to fit them nicelly on the bike Paul

Yep the Termi has springs as well but even though the crossover is 'bridged' at the longer horn terminals. But then again every design can be different , and the mtals that are used ply their role too. What can I a if this is tested this way and doesn' give any problms on bikes then it has to be O.K. Anyways perhaps your swingarm is longer than the one that the exaust it used to fit? I didn't exactly understand where is the problem. This system was designd to fit the Sporti and DatonaRs chasis (perhaps older Daytonas too) and I have seen pics with V11's wearing it. This IS your set. I have this pc from the auction you got these Termis, it was the only pic I had handy at the moment...lol. I have the same termis , new pipes and exausts spare at my closet...lol . I still have the Mistrals on the bike, and would think getting these Termis up but they look such jewels I preffer to look at them clean ... LOL. . I also don't have the springs though, that are used to join the parts between them, any ideas on where to find such.? As you may know I bought the back pipes and Xover new in ebay (in rediculous price of 300Eur alltogether) and got the front pipes from motomecca , but they didn't have any springs..

Yep I have this play on the bike, my mechanic told me just about that about the bevel , that something has to be changed (though I can't recall all). I have not done it yet but will do anytime I have the time. Will hve to ask again and know exact all what it. Nothing to really wory about too much.

Well , I think he made good money out of it as well. In Germany alone has sold over 100,000 DVDs (before its last one)
-
Well sorry but I will have to say this. My bike had a Xover like this and the front pipes looked as well so. I really don't know it it was the same system but looked very much alike. After instaling the Mistral racing pipes (1500km more or less) the crossover had split appart in the middle. I suggest that you put extra strength plate accross the X (front and back) Something like the Termi crossover here as example to strengthen the whole thing (just in case)

Just found in the Motosiclismo site About a nuova 1200S "naked" from Guzzi. I wonder , zat it ? I mean the Griso supposed to be the naked version...lol.. Give me a break , the lines are from Breva that ain't so spoty IMO Now who knows Italian can further translate, And that's not PC pictures there are some real pics on the road with that bike.

Why all Moto GP riders and all other racers (TT, AMA..ect.ect.) wear full face helmets?
-
And that is Caprirossi for this year. And what a rider Pedrosa is . I think he has a lot of potential for wins and more in the future, a very promising talent

Personally I doupt , I used to wear ear plugs (lots of and of any kind small or big) when I worked inside the airport and I could slightly hear (more or less) a plane tourbine in 100foot distance . Ear plugs are ear plugs , I can't imagine wear these on the bike while traveling or commuting and don't have the ability to hear a horn of a car or something else Having traveled over 20,000 km in the last 2.5 years , I definatelly know I don't need them. Besides I will fall asleep if everything is so quiet ... and personally in my driving experience I find it dangerous of not being able to hear the enviroment when driving.Cause most sounds will be less loud than my motorcycle , so if I tap this then definatelly everything else will be off as well ....no thanks earplugs don't serve me. But then again,of cource, it is a matter of choice and suitability for everyone
-
I don't use ear plugs when I ride the Guzzi cause, 1) I want to hear the Guzzi music and 2).want to hear the enviroment and be in touch, while concentrated driving..-

Looks good, I imagine it sounds even better. What was the cost ? Hey Guzz, where have you been?
-
Oooooops yes you are right. I have corrected it in the post as well and here it is again here. try this store After buying a total, over $1600 from him I can say he is reliabe seller, and highly recomended of the prices and service he does.
-
If you want to bu a US specs helmet , try this store all the known good brands in best deals. You know that every country that the helmet is destined for ,there is a number on it ,and perhaps differnt specs Moto GP stars wear the known brands (AGV ,Arai ,Shoei, Shuomi...ect), what kind of specs they use I don't know. I use the AGV GP pro and the Ti/Tech their fit is incredible and their specs are among the gtop ones AFAIK. I would use the Arai's but the visibility of these AGV's are better than the equivelent quality Arai's. Finnally that fanfare against EU is TOTAL BS ,I never believe all the BS that's on the press, serious helmet makers like the ones the Moto GP stars use , I believe they offer best quality in their TOP models.

You on't hve to reply to this , just updating . The problem HAS BEN fixed loong time ago, just forgot to update Thanks Carl , Mtiberio , dlaing ,and every who responded offering some help about it. Yep It was the air temp sensor that was broken and caused the mess with high fuel consumption....
-
Have heared comments like this about mine countless times, Like... what model is that duke? or which years and so on. ROTFLMAO

Wellcome, I don't have any experienced opinion on V11"s since I ride the 1100ie Sport , the latter corsa model. I can though tell that after riding my bike for over 45K km in all kinds of terains, weather and situations. there wasn"t a single. There wasn"t a single wierd failure. The electrics on these Sport models are waterproof and perhaps so is in the V11"s. The only problem when riden in rain is that if you travel in high speed (180km/h or more, that is having 6000 rpm or more)for some time, the oil pressure lamp can light up. But how usefull is to ride that fast in rain? Except that I run out of battary once but that was normal (for the 6 year old one that was wearing) and a broken air temp sensor that caused the bike to have a very high fuel consumption. No other failures on the bike. The late sport models of '97 and "98 were better made than the earlier they had also a helical type gearbox. As far as early V11"s go a friend of mine has the green 99-2000 V11 sport but no problems anounced to me so far. Apparently the bike needs a fairing for better air protectionwhen traveling high speed roads. Rosso Corsas and Nero Corsas on V11"s are build with Ohlins and seem to have better build-construction quality than other V11 models therefore, IMO, more problem free bikes. The newest models Breva serie and the Griso are on a new era with upgraded 2 spark motor, different chasis (no spine frame) and till now I have heared only good critisim from people or magazines that tested them, concidering ridability and reliability. Based on my personal experience they are a big klick or more, up in construction and reliability than ony other modern Guzzi.

This is the kit that contains alltogether en extra ECU programmed for these Ti exausts right?
-
!!! That doesn't sound good or? You can PM me if you think so ????? Mick Walker shares the same with Ian on that. You can say that again
-
I use vaseline for that, it does well with these rubber lube. Thoguh tere are also different qualities on these intake rubbers. The best ones are the ones I have now , bought them from Agostini and after almost a 9 months and many km's look like new.The worst were from 'twins and parts' shop in Germany where after 2 months of wearing them cracked ,one of them was cut!! although all got the same good reatment. from me-

I guess I am an absolutist relativist. Look, we could say that, everything is as it is(absolute) in a given-perticular moment due to it's relativity with something else and becomes 'relative in another moment due to it's absoluteness with something else as well. That's easy. Time is very important factor(as one percieves it in the state he can be- again at a given moment -and altogether in total.) folkes......the sertain moment.
-
Yep that's exact it. We could say excellence is (about that subject) ,to know what one wants and create it down to action in real life.

Here is an example from THE MOTO GUZZI STORY - IAN Falloon. The Daytona racing was a developed model with some serious additions over the 1000,that came in the early '96 after the D.1000 and before the RS, The RS had the C kit as a stock bike and then even some more,AFAIK, there was though, yet another 'racing' kit for the RS, that came out for more HP

How to clean wrinkle painted engines
Alex-Corsa replied to helicopterjim R.I.P.'s topic in How to...
Although my engine paint doesn't have any wrinkles,I use the Autoglym motorcycle cleaner or the Engine cleaner Lots of km and lots of dirt around but after wash, the result is this Spray , brush, rince is the name of the game, everywhere concidering hard dirt, even on the brake claws
