Well if the cable ports are the ones I see you have to watch out cause these kind of serial thingies exist only on desctop PC's and some older Notebooks, though not on the new ones where everything is usb.and yes using a serial to USB converter might as well not solve the problem of compatibility to this(cause we're talking about firmaware flashing here ,ect.ect. One might have to bring the device close to a PC with such a port to upgrade it I guess. And it's antenna up front does it have blue tooth? that would make it compatible to PDA's or devices and be used also as antenna for them too.

And i this thingie effective on cammeras used on ither countries , let's say Italy or Germany? for instance. hat's the cost of it? The place under the back sit is verx limmited to mine so I guess i have to install it under the seat. Have heared about programm that connect to the PDA and the GPS warning but have not worked any one yet. Does anyone knows any good of them? Last time I was in Europe it was flashing all over where I was, I thought I was a star

You can say that again alright Sometimes I wonder if that's the real reason on owing one..(besides the cult and other bla, bla, bla you name it)
-
That's how it is, though I think it would be better not to have this auto thing and cut that screw out on mine,Yes I have to be very carefull everytime I get on the bike and lift the stand up.

Yep , I think ist's not sensible to spoil the warantee sby doing self service. It a matter of typicality and who knows what happens in the future.
-
Yep ,that's it , I'm glad I can make it with just one liter for both on mine

What's your favorites this job?

Dunno I think that there are many pprograms out there and each has perhapsit's own 'compatible' file types. The main purpose I guess is anything that can translate the whole story from plain english to some graphs. That helps for a better understanding of whats going on. I.e. mphcycleshas this freeware ECUeditor that open .bin files so does technoresearch's winflo rpo (seems all free )as well as on the same page the Data view , this one opens .log files seems that they're PDA or Palm type of files. As I said there can be many more but regardles which one there is helpfull to see the data in a table or a graph 3 or not, that makes life easier I suppose.

Forgot to screw it properlly-tight on the frame perhaps? Forgot to put-wrap the rubber thingie around the filter (between filter and holder) ?
-
Nope that's on Euros

They changed the capacity on the V11 already , In the sporti is 750 and 250 according to manual.

That's ounds so strange.I can't offer any piece of dvice except to spray the conact area of the pan with the rest of the engine block with WD40 and let it absorb this wil help loosen up.Be sure that everything is removed from the pan. P.S. fter reading ll posts , well if it's a glue , what kind of moron should use glue there.

Who said that?I like them too

1.I use Motorex lubes for the bevel and Agip,or Motorex , or Motul for the Gearbox. At the viscosity values suggested. Motorex also makes a special additive for the back bevel( use it Instead of the Moly thing) called HPLS gear additive. Specially made for back bevels' like Guzzi's (AFAIK) perhaps is also O.K for the gearbox but dunno Where do you find this? Try here :Stein Dinse

Thanks Cliff, that means to open it with Excel thing or so? All I meant is if there can be a way to make it compatible as a .log file type so you can open it with a programm lie i.e. data view (freeware)(perhaps this ile type is used on , or only in PDA's prog works on PC)

Yep the left one seems to get less air (at least on mine) so how can you fix that? Yep , I you can see and record that with a programm such s VDSTS along with spark advance, manif. pressure,TP and some other factors as well

I know, $$$ are never enough (sometimes)

Yea? why that? I have noticed that Daytona security evo model is made of Kangaroo leather. But I like these animals and I guess there are not plenty of them so I'm in a way not in fave to use them for boots and other stuff.

Well I am actually moe fond of leathers as well.there is no such thing as total waterproof (especially if exposed to extendet time in the rain). The best is to hve this light nylon thingie overcoat to wear over the outfit you are having. It's a matter of taste It's alo a matter of appearence.I like the appearence of the leathrs an to tell you the truth I feel safer in leathers than in textiles, perhaps cause leathers are a bit tighter in fit than textiles. Then textiles for the same reason can be a bit more comfortable, and practical due to the fact that they usually have more pockets than leathers. About heat , yes only a good vented leather(i.e.like this or this-only this color there are many others here only an example-I have the alpine stars an is great for mid and mid high temps 20-30C') will be effective, and of cource only a summer specs textile will do the job. The above are examples ,have shoped from this ebayer and was so trustworthy I spent some $$$ in his offered supplies . He Had better prices last summer (about 15-20 less) so if one wants to shop might consider this in the offer thingie and not 'buy it now' oppt. It's a matter of quality and performance It all then comes to the quality of the leathers and textile with the textiles winning in price. But then again the other day I was wearing this oxford material made jacket and just a touch to my front exaust pipes burned the s%%t out of it, that would never happen to a leather. Go for quality products and don't compromise on that, you'll year it and it will protect you I preffer leather for longer tours and sport riding, if it rains I´´ll wear my ''boolet proof' rain coats on (alo protects from cold and or high moisture enviroments ) And for everyday I usually have this textile I wear Alpinestars and Hein-gerike stuff as these are the ones I find best in styling&performance ,that#s my Might consider checking this out Prodigium since they have a good discound prices on Moto Guzzi clothing (excellent quality stff)and accesories (also the titanium mufflers)

Don't think so, this monster has Over 500HP, though heavy at 680kg 500 is 500. Have it on presentation , can post pics.
-
The first pic isn't modified ,so it is made from "mama" Guzzi. The others I have not seen but if you ain't got it then go for it.\ I have to install it on my Sporti too (different one) I have vibrations drings and drangs in idle and it is annoying (also Mistral but I doupt it's cause of that, rather than from the parts that are missing)).I ordered the parts but didn't get the teflon females that attach to the studs, costy at over 22Eur each and needed thre,...no thanks I'll make mine.

With which programm can these log files be opened and which sources data- are being logged? (i.e. voltage, RPM, TP TIA Yep Dave that explains it about rich/lean map US vs Europe, the Creedon chip I got is a bit richer than the EU mapped chips I have tried so far. hehe my diagnostic-tune tools are here . I just need to find some free time and peace of mind and start with it.Instaling the WBO2 will be cause of the drilling and so on , and I ain't got any bungs right now. Will update though
