  1. Yeah the hanldebars would need to be realigned unscreww clip on bolts and allign , then tighten again and check , ABout tankslap-front wobble have to take the dumper out and check again, there ia also a posibility of slight fork diss-alignment, or bent?!!, also check front wheel bearings.
  2. Yeah everything rise up in 10 years,It even rise in 1 month like the petrol, well who knows what the price of the potrol would be in a year.. , have seen a about 15% raise in 1 month here, costs 1-1,1Eur/lit now. How about in NL?
  3. Thanks for your answer. Gives me the prespective of somehing else. Though as it seems to me perhaps I'll keep it that way as it is now.(for the moment)

    '98 Corsa Sport

Wellocome partner , I got the 40/ I guess now that makes us 3 in this forum with the Corsas, there is also a fellow from Finnland, Juka. I guess we miss another one to start our own forum.LMAO
  5. I second that
  6. Got mine on ebay for 70Euros original in very good condition. Yes that was the most usefull book for my bike.
  7. What is GS stands for? As about Ghezzi I was talking about a bike that I have said to him , I would like to have from, Specs-looks, ect.ect.
  8. It's not nonsence, it just costs huge $$ .What I talked about is NOT about any "exotic" metals of some short. The Japs are advanced into doing different molecular structure on the same piece of metal in order to fit their specs in lightness-rigidity factor. The japs have perhaps the best metal proscessing industry. Even on knives for example, they can take a AUS8 metal ,and produce a better toughness and hardness piece (if needed) that equals to harder metals not so stainless but with the stailness qualities of the AUS8 I do imagine what they do in the bikes as well. And as I said accsesible yes but may as well be costy though.
  9. What about Giuseppe, Brian told me(email) that he was prepearing something new about in July. I had no news though. I am also to busy and forgot to write, plann to go from there, but the plan took more time than I calculated and still I'm stuck on my programm. I will write a email or a phone I guess
  10. Well I have to dissagre on you with that about heaviness of this Vtwin compared with a 4cylinder block.Yes there are 4cyl light engines but there are also heavy ones as well in morden motorcycles. AFAIK on the light weight engines that some superbike type jap. motorcycles have is more of a result of the metals used, ect.ect.There we have a degree of developement in metalurgy that Guzzi isn't able to reach. Yet there are custom Guzzis made in the market today suck as Dynotec's Guzzila having a Daytona motor with an amazing of 185kg full-wet weight ,and a sport of HTMoto having a old Leman engine with a 150kg or so (dry I think). SO if engine is a "weight problem" Late Guzzis('94 and on at least) have also the advantage of behaving at about 20% lighter of their actuall weight concerning agility!!. As far as Guzzi go to Offroad thing ?(If you mean the KTM type of thing), well I think that this cannot be done, first because Aprilia can provide such machines and second that isn't a Guzzi field that fits to it's tradition. What can be done is,to offer a smaller cubic motorcycle as a choice for some "first time" riders to get closer and into Guzzi Some better distribution (at least) of parts and service through the importers when and where needed. A little more advertising perhaps so the people know about. A nice looking and capable sport version, i.e. like the MGS1 for many of the sport riders that are not HP-junkies but want to enjoy riding such a capable "exotic" . Unfortunatelly most motorcycle brands get famous mostly because of racing(that costs million$$), and advertising and the magazines (even the so called "serious" ones) , as well ,that have nurture the attitude of Good bike =HP/Weight ratio ect.ect.ect. Forgetting about other qualities that make a motorcycle usefull and enjoyable. Guzzi has made a big developement in the shaft drive on their new models(Breva 1100 and Griso) that BMW hasn't even dreamed about it , yet I have not heared any praise from the press about it .(or someone show me I'm wrong) P.S. And something last If Guzzi had descided or be able to develop , (or you name it)and put a V8cylinder exotic motorcycle on the market with some 150-180PS or so, you'd see hordes of praise and racers wannabes running to buy one. And to tell you the truth better not be so, My impressions of Guzzi is that is reffering to the "mature" motorcyclist, the one who wants the long term beek relation , the one that knows what he wants from a bike. A bit developement won't hurt .though ,hopefully will help more of this kind getting to know the brand and don't get "victims" of the press and a stupid mentality towards motorcycling.
  11. The Cafe sport is perhaps also more agile. But for a starter I would not recomend 1100 cubics machine. The 750 Breva is an easy to handle motorcycle even for beginers and can do touring and commuting IMO a "easy" choice for a beginner that wants to go on with Guzzis. But then again , don't know , but not even having a big motorcycle licence for some time even this can be a lot for just a first bike.
  12. Here's a proper grease Gun with an additional extra longer end-hose for flexible fit in all places for the Guzzi
  13. Are these FBF cans "open" or normal, what is the configuration of the exaust including the crossover. I am running in a "open" crossover and "normal" factory Lanfranconis. Yet I would like to change to some Mistral oval or round carbon cans mostlly for the sound and weight difference. I don't want to put some open cans, is this configuration open crossover-normal cans right or should the whole thing has to be open? I have heared different opinions (yet this configuration on my bike now is tunned from Dynotec and I would't concider that they're wrong in what they did, but I don't know exactlly the benefits of such a configuration.) I do have a K&N filter on the airbox.
  14. You can say that again. Many things from famous major brands lattely are "Made in China" products

    new breva

Do these people over there in the bike wear jackets with the Guzzi insignia at the top of the sleeves?? I protest
  16. I am real cause I have seen a bike like mine staying behind a bike like the 999S producing 143PS riden (the Ducati)from a rider that does Hockenheim in 1.58' The Guzzi was riden from a rider that does the same track on 1.55 on a 999 and also a GT sports car team driver. In a place called Schwarzwald in Germany. Have seen also my self making a disatnce in national road with lots of turns 134Km in 38min(make your calculations), with a "mighty R1 left behind.. .In the night all time calculated from road-customs tickets. Sorry but 1)Who cares about Rossi these are byproducts inorder to make companies sell more of their stuff, let's be real, what these people race have nothing to do with reality of normal production motorcycles... TT is close real thing hands down at least in terms of riders and racing., hands down. 2) I don't talk about racebikes. that's bull , people get fooled and they think they can get a race bike when they pay for these supersport karots, actuall a reall race bike cost a s**tload of money I talk about SPORTSBIKES The V11 is also in the list of the bikes that were made with Aprilia and doesn't have that sport Spirit of a Daytona or a Sport 1100i (the last of the Real Guzzis) Actually is a touring bike , not a sport's bike. A MGS 1 is a sportsbike. Well I don't do so , though it is not a bad thing to do, best things are build on dreams, I am just talking of what would be good for the most people who can't afford to buy a custom made bike. As for my self ,I can have any bike on the plannet if just happens that my Corsa is... .
  17. Yep that's the length of the WP as it also shows in my book diagram (279-281) Which one Ohlins are you talikng about?? What will happen if you change to a bigger overall lenght shock absorber.? Is this a way to increase the height of the back side of the bike, ?And what's a height gain from such a difference i.e. (6mm)?
  18. That's bulls**t , the only flaws with Guzzi is(or was) perhaps the management that wanted(or still does) to keep Guzzi a brand making motorcycles like `cruisers or adventure BMW type bikes.. Guzzi was born through the races with character of freedom and sport and that's a value they should always have with more or less..in some models they'll produce. And to all others who would whine about PS , this is also great bull***t , an agile steering stable chasis bike(with some 100-120wheel PS) can compete any supersport bike in normal streets situations in the hands of a capable rider. And that's what Guzzi needs a capable rider , if ones wants it all "phenomenical"easy then better go buy a Japan karot. And these people ride a bike fast only in the straights and because it says it can go fast in the pappers..LOL. and that's the idea of motorcyclism of a vast public at nowadays Guzzi is not for amatures when comes to super sport performance. Can tell you loong stories about the above.
  19. Have heared about it as well... and they'd better do as they have planned at the start
  20. I have the original workshop manual that has the Sport 1100i (and '98Corsa references when needed), it also contains the DaytonaRS and the Centauro in total of over 510 pages in three languages En-Germ.NL. that can be printed seperatelly for about 176 pages each If you're interested let me know
  21. I like those Mistral Oval carbons.Seriouslly thinking on putting them on my Sporti. Are these you got Normal or "open" and did you have to do any reprogramming to the "chip'" of the bike. I have an complete set up with open airbox and crossover and Normal exausts, chip is from a famous Guzzi tunner, bike runs great, and I think to get some "closed-Normal" Carbon Mistrals, hope no chip reprogramming has to be made, anyone has any clue about it?
  22. If you got any relative links , you can drop me. Was it posted here before about some parts like these I recon but these were for USA UK type of sports that have a different headlight hole at the front.
  23. AFAIK there isn't such a body kit-parts for the 1100i Sport, is it?
  24. You can try the Auto Glym products, they really do work WELL and Motorcycle Cleaner(pink tag) will take off any dirt (for harder stuff you can use the degraser).
  25. Heh , First of all I like all Guzzis some more some less. I would buy the same bike that I have again and that's no other than the Sport 1100ie CORSA, It has all I need in terms of construction, ridability, beauty, and I can't think of myself riding another bike right now. After 16 months of ownership and 30K km it is like love for the first time every time I get on the seat.
