Thank you Murray , Cliff and motoguzzinix. Your advice is so useful to me. Unfortunately for my pocket right now, I have bought the original fuel pump but then again I wanted to have it ASAP since soon everyone closes for summer vacation. Though I will definetlly have in mind and get a cheaper as a spare. I think This pump will do the trick , right??? (same seller and pump prompted from the other forum link in ebay) Cliff??? Actually the pump that arrived is the 0 580 464 048 on sale is the 0 580 464 070 , any clues on that.? So here the fuel pump arrived and looks like that. Is this X supposed to indicate the positive side of the voltage connector? Cheers once again

In my experience it all depends on the build quality and the mechanism as well. To me it sounds unlikely to happen to a watch with ETA mechanism. My Breitlings serve me at all day activities all time I have rode the bike without the slightest problem. And have gotten hard use. You can mostly worry about a watch if you hit with it somewhere and gets a shock.

!!!! Nice one.

Schwarzwald is definitely one of the best rides, I will hopefully visit latter on , but if anyone this of it then go , it is so great.
-
You can do better than that, don't be afraid , others will pay, shoot a good one.!!
-
Will probably doing Mandelo time by then , if not , I pay you a visit,. Quite simply I don't plan to much all the dates when I go traveling, though the places.

A 10- cent worth of advice I recon Show the sides , are you doing anything with the bike over there, or is it just a ladies ride Antonio?
-
Done some further measurements. 1.Checked the connections of the pump. yes , ground is on ,and connected to chasis 2.Disco' the fuel pump and took the battery of the bike and connected correctly 12V on ......as good as dead (while also having the poles of the multimeter on it there were 12V getting there.) I guess I am going for the big bucks damage here. Yuppiiieee , One week vacation is over before it started. Yes there is a possibility that the pump is being stuck. One solution is to hammer it a bit , but then again who can tell me that is won't get the same problem again.

It's all Greek to me as well. Your help is so great anyways, thanks Dave

Ben, there are a lot of bands in ebay. All you need is to get the correct size at the lungs . I am into watches, though I begin to stop this fortune eater hobby, I need something else. Found it, get a woman to pay for my expences and then I need a concept where to spent all these money every day. Any ideas? Yes bikes are good but you can't wear them all the time, anything else? you have some good ideas ......

That site is Russian indeed !! Thanks Dave, here in Andromeda, is a "permanent vacation" situation. The other day I was to the Ducati importer looking for the (1st) V.regulator , their attitude was. "what do you want, leave us alone, too hot today to work, we don't have a part if you don't give us the exact number, go away go away." You understand what I am saying? I even order my tires from Germany .LOL, give no money for the stupid. Man I am really grounded in my room from the foot as well, right now. Pushing the bike a couple of days ago did inflate PAIN in a hurt nerve. So woke up to early today , an AMAZING 8:30 like I would go for hunting or something. I can only visit my kitchen my garage and the bathroom. Will get these SIEMENS relays ASAP> What about these BOSCH relays is this (0 332 207 307) a MOTO GUZZI part number , you gave me Thanks Once again Dave, I owe you beer.! P.S. Radio Shack , where is that?

Dimitri I highly recomend the Metzelers M3 they give top stickynes on the asphalt you will use them (compared to others) and quite quicker geometry than their competitors in this class (Michelin pilot power),that your Le Mans will need it. The hesitation you felt , I recon it could be a bike geometry-riding positioning than tire. M3's have some of the fastest geometry. I have done a combination of M3 front and Z6 back and though the geometry of using other tire types is a bit "screwed up" the front was very sticky and stable at all conditions. But I never risk it on going to the extreme lean angles as it happened when I had the M1's. Wich was unbelievable tire concerning stickiness. The M3's warm up faster than the M1's but keep more stable working temp. than the M1's that can "overwarm" in extreme heat conditions. M3's give also an aprox. 20-30% more mileage than the M1's. This tire is voted overall No1 from the Motorrad magazine , but then again magazines type hype sometimes. My experience was 100% satisfactory. I get my tires fresh-NEW from a source in "nice" price I can recomend you.

Sounds like it will turn up a good one A picture is more than a thousand words. Got any even at this stage..

All the relays are the same Wanted to disconnect the pump and check it out with my older battery there is only one dirty cable to disconnect. That confused me cause in my parts catalogue I see 2.Anyways. Hopefully it is the relays. now what are the chances of being the relays over there.? Over here there are not big chances on finding a pump so I am seriously thinking to get them all in one big order. If I run out of parts now I will be grounded for some long time.It is also vacation time and everybody is closing,. (damn it) Gonna get them from Agostini. Well I am defect at the moment left leg is nerve hit and I can only use my phone.

Thanks Dave for all the clues. Yes after installing the original regulator all works fine concerning the lamps. The test I did is that I switched that very relay (starter relay) with the Headlamp relay and still the same happened (no hsst noice) then I switched it with the Power relay and no lights on the instruments came on when turning the key to on position. Any verdict on this.? do I have a fuel pump "Kaput" as well now? About the ECU what could be likely to be broken?. I have a spare new but it is a hassle to try installing it on.(or isn't it?) I have 3 terminal relays as long as I have seen
-
Thanks for your info, I will replace these relays , just to be sure. Does anyone knows if there are any similarities in these relays as a Ducati part , or a BMW or whatever so it is esier to get this part from them.????
-
Thanks Dave , yest the original Regulator has arrived and was on the ike.Funnt thing is I put it on yesterday. My speculation is a dirty fuel filter. Truth is that the hhhhst noice was quite silent ;lattely. DOes this meant something. I am going to chanfe the fuel filter myself and see. Dave I don't have the diode thing on , Is this good or bad news on my condititon now?
-
Hey Buddy , how can I check if a relay is really working??
-
Yep found those relays. As I turn the key to on , I hear a little click once coming the relays place and after about a couple of seconds there comes another click. Hint I also forgot to say that after I put the gas on the bike (well it had some anyways) the bike started a bit once and then died on my hands , after that though not a single time it could start. Starter is rolling as always.

Fuses OK , relays? . If you can promt me on the relays of the Sport 1100i or other equivelants, perhaps a BMW part that I can find easy,( if that finnaly is the case) that would be great. How can I test a relay if it is good or not? ANd anyone of any idea where that is? ( is that metal thing under the back seat?) go get some pic for you. Thanks buddy

Yes the diva-Corsa has done it again , this is the second "jealousy scene" that she is doing to me and I am thinking of a divorce. Just came back (4:30 AM over here in Greece now) tired of this bike failure.Tired of thinking what should this be. Started a 50 mile short night ride tonight and the bike went totally off on the highway, somewhat far away from home. I pulled over and after being lucky enough since a police patrol was passing by in the dead og night in nowhere land, I popped in & went and got some gas , since I thought that was the problem. Night ride was totally ruined and me was sitting looking at the moon in the middle of the night ,smoking one of my Dunhill's and wondering WTH is wrong again, till the service truck come and pull me over. Having a nice chat with the officers we analysed from work and carrier, to the bikes & women similarities to mating procedures in nature according to Aristotele But it wasn't the gas the problem I notice that after switching the key on there is no hhhhhssst noice and though the starter works , the bike doesn't start at all... So what should I look for??? Is it the fuel pump, should It be the fuel filter (over due and should have changed it 2000 km ago.) Or is it something else??? I don't really want to divorce her, she was so loyal and faithful all these years in her motorcycle role so in the end, I love her Cheers. I quickly burn a new EPROM-chip and go fit it in the ECU and see if that's it.
