There is one watercooled made.Independently -experimental AFAIK this watercooled model droped down on earth 137hp .Interesting to have one. and lurk for some ducks. Though the rarity of some(specific) spare parts has to be a fact I guess. I find the look of the side of the cylinders a bit wierd having the exaust coming out of there, dunno it can cause trouble it the bike falls or drops(at 0 speed). dunno if it is tested on some track.I heared they wanted to race it.

In which part of my responce is this refering to?, meaning? ...LOL

Hallo folks ,I had a problem with the tachometer of my Sport 1100i tonight, does anyone knows where is the mount (the other end of the one that ends on the tachometer) located?(I think just above where the clutch cabel ends over the transmition is that it?) Should I expect only a full cable change(inkl the wire) or just a wire.? Is there any occasion for a more serious damage? What should I expect? I wasn't aware when it happened but I just noticed a bit after I started the bike to go home. Now the tacho needle is as good as dead...and I am just as good as pi$$ed

SUSPENCION settings 101 Here's some info from my archive about suspensions in short. I hope it helps Rebound damping *Rear suspension Too much rebound damping can cause: - The rear "jumps" on the bumps instead of following the surface. - The rear "jutters" under braking. - It holds the rear down with the result that the bike will understeer! - It can cause overheating in the hydraulic system of the shock absorber and make it fade, in other words, it will loose damping when hot. Too little rebound damping can cause: - The rear "tops out" too fast under braking, causing the rear wheel to jump - The bike feels unstable. *Front suspension Too much rebound damping can cause: - Oversteering! - It will give poor grip of the front tire. - It feels like the front wheels will tuck under in corners. Too little rebound damping can cause: - Understeer! - The front can feel unstable. Compression damping Rear suspension Too much compression damping can cause: - The rear wheel to slide under acceleration. -It can give a harsh ride over bumps. Too little compression damping can cause: - The rear wheel start to bump sideways under acceleration out of the corner. - The bike will squad too much (rear is too low), that will cause the front to loose grip. Front suspension Too much compression damping can cause: - Good result during braking. - Feels harsh over the bumps. Too little compression damping can cause: - Strong diving of the front. Adjustment advice: Compression damping should be adjusted together with front fork oil level. Spring ratio Rear Too hard spring ratio: - Gives easy turning into corners. - Makes the rear feel harsh. - Create poor rear wheel traction. Too soft spring ratio: - Gives good traction in acceleration. - Creates understeer in entry of corner. - Makes too much suspension travel, which will make it difficult to "flick" the bike from one side to the other in a chicane. - Will give a light feeling in the front. Front Too hard spring ratio: - Good under braking. - Creates understeer. - It feels harsh in the corners. Too soft spring ratio: - Gives easy turning into corners. - Creates oversteer. - Can cause front to tuck under. - Bad under braking (diving).

From the above details I assume that there is a traction problem with the rear of the bike. Therefore if the tires are new and OK (and the ground you ride has traction) you'll have to check your air tires pressure. Then the suspension(assemply & set-up),. Highside is not a problem of Vmotors and especially on an MG.

That's right. You can say that again

Thanks I'll try this as soon as my stand comes. Also an ebay order, new,at same price (without the postage)

I got this "problem" when riding in highways in faster tempos. Any pics available for it?
-
I saw some of these "center" stands in Stein Dinse a bit pricey for a stand though(aprox.120Eur-no postage I think)/ Will see if it doesn't work one man try, I will concider getting this center like thing

Simple question, How do you place the bike on the paddock stand? I have ordered one for my self and I can't really imagine how to exact doing it alone., at my mechanicer's garage he always ask me for a little assistance to place this thing on. Does it needs 2 people to be done , or can one by himself do it, if so then how? Afterall want to be "prepeared" on what to expect or if any tricks. P.S. very clean looking bike

My Sport 1100i has a radiator cover, though "my" radiator looks a bit shorter than yours ,but the side screws look like in the same distances. It may be useless to tell you the part.no. since they may not fit exact in height If there's a radiator cover on other V11's I think it will fit on your too so don't wory about it.

Now that was the smart answer or the dumm ass answer??..

Actually I had a problem with the bitubo on my Sport 1100 last summer as it was leaking oil, the problem was that there were not any available gaskets in the market for this model, so one has to do his own research and find the suitable ones. I desided to change the damper and got a new one from WP which has an extra gas tank and 32 settings and definitelly is better than the Bitubo , in the box there are these codes.1508 S90 R/STD. Dunno if it fits on your bike but why shouldn't it? You can also see as an alternative (if you cant fix the bitubo)the Ohlins that it is used on other V11's There are also some ebay offer sometimes in new Bitubos>. ...and Ohlins as well That's all I know Motorcycle oil consumption is what you're talking about , right? In my Sport there's barelly any oil consumption . Maybe 100-150cl avery 4000Km

And what about the "assisting return rod" that is also connected to the frame (that long rod above the drive shaft).Doesn't it need to be changed in length?? Since the height changes?
-
Have heared of this problem before,Can't describe it in English but has to do with the "automatic" of the gearbox that is not of a costy damge but causes trouble.Anyway what was it diagnosed after? AWESOME driving from "Superlouis",what a Dude!! My hats off about it ...

Check PM Well actually the race in Spain may have revealled sth about it.
-
Can be anywhere uploaded as long as they're .wav & .mp3 types are 100% playable ,without any plugins, from all nowadays media devices right of the box.

Yes it does in some short of, but only to the "fans" of the marque, since there aren't any race participations(at least official) or press releases to get it wider known to the public. I dissagree on that, I have found at least two of them that I could buy the last couple of months (Plus I have canceled my order for one since I learned that it ain't gonna make it into production* and has potential gear box problems) *Production means spare parts , as well as a tested-approoved version for street use,ect.ect. If street version will arrive that would be great. But at the other hand all my infos from sources that have direct relations with the company are 100% negative about that.So we can forget all about it at the moment.

IF the case is like that, what kind of usefull entertainment for the youth would be there?.In this case it is wise to consider the instinct of the mother, most times is not worng.Aren't there any other opportunities there with more "down to earth" festivals around? There must be.

That sound a bit all in vain situation. So is this a reason of not parenting the children and guide them to sertain values and moral?
-
Let me clear this again ,I did not reffered to you about sencible things . I reffer to MG and what's happening. So yet again where's that sence of making a bike like this for sale(anyone?)?What's the purpose?
-
Yes I agree on that too and the point is that all looks ,sounds or whatever is a matter of tase.Does it sound, look ,feel better to you? then do it, that's the best rule of the thumb. At the other point for instance(as of myself) I am very conservative on changing the original looks of MY bike. though some changes are done sometimes most of the main "concept"-factory look ,Little changes also can achieve big differences so I leave it there.
