These are made in Romania , AFAIK. Gennerally though most thing nowdays you know where they're made ....in China. I just wonder when the Chinese will wake up and control the whole world , it is getting quite easy for them day by day....you'll see , you'll see.

yep , that's how it goes "Shiny bits=money pits" -
All I know and that's for sure better , fork oil has to be replaced every year regardless the milleage, or after 10k miles maximum if that's made within les than a year.

Recently got my chips for sale in ebay (German), a couple of days after got my auction deleted cause as they claimed "there was a fobidden link in there" Well yes I have written t visit www.innovatemotorsports.com so the byers ubderstand that AFR method of tunning. So there was the "verbotene" link. OK I said let's type it other way so you don't have to press it and go but to get the idea and wrote : "visit innovatemotorsports.com " after a couple of days deleted it again for the same reason , this time it was the innovatemotorsports.com that "annoyied" them well I said OK and then I did a pic of the page and put it in to the auction as a photo showing the site. Then again after no more than 2 days they deleted for the reason that a link was shown in a photo. So WTF is this? that isn't writen in their policies. Besides the site I was introducing 1. doesn't sell stuff 2. Will help selling the product. and that's allowed according to their rules. After I answered their email and explained them all that I mention here, long with that the one who was deleting my auctions perhaps was a cousin of Adofl Hitler or something , I put up my auction on the UK ebay and descretelly modified it. Well , I guess I won't need them , my Sport Corsa stands out from the crowd almost just as it came from the factory.

Be careful guys , s**t can happen anytime. Also notice the importance of who you ride with and that a group has to stay together and not develop to big distances and be devided as smaller groups. Nick Isenatch writes some about it very well in his book. Had in the past experiences like these with separation of groups and more or less that has caused situations like these sometimes.Personaly I generally don't go ride with big groups and chances are I won't know who I am riding with (if more than 3 bikes) = unsafe more or less.(but that's just my 2c ) Ride safe, stay safe and good recovery to the hurt.

If you mean some kind of cough at 2400-2600 , I have noticed it on mine (sport 1100i) as well. Have changed the fuell map on the chip and went better, that means it no longer happens always, but when the engine and weather is a bit warmer (i.e. oil temp.above 83 or so) and above 20C air it happens form time to time. Can't do anything about it but I don't worry it isn't so often anyways.

It doesn't matter for the rubber if the bike sat down for a while, as it matters the quality of them. I had mine once changed and that workshop put in some made in china things or so , that totally fall appart after 3 months. I have got after these some new from Agostini and they are the best so far. 1+1/2 years after and look like new ,with only some vaseline conditioning on them, from time to time. Yes you can expect problems such as worse idle making bikes life difficult as well as a possible split & go of the rubber and if it is in the middle of nowhere that can be expencive.

Manual on my 1100iSport says every 2500-3000km or so except in traveling faster speeds , then at about 1500. I recon they have changed it in the V11 manual , so that none knows the truth after that, . I just do a regular grase every 4-5K km or so on my 1100i.

Was having that tire (Dragon GTS) before I put my Z6 on my 1100i , compared to the Z6 my impression is a bit less performance.Very stable in dry but quite unstable in wet, without the milliage and the grip of the Z6 in any conditions. I am satisfied from the Z6 for what it is supposed to be (touring tire) and what it gives (great grip never seen before on touring tires) quite neutral and stable IMO even when in load traveling For sure a sport tire can behave better in terms of grip but I would vote the Z6 as best combination of grip ,millage and price alltogether as a touring tire.

I think that's a general "phenomemon" y' know how that moto goes, work more , to earn more, to buy more. The point is to have a measure in everything and know what you need (at least), or you fall into the trap.

Are you going to have some fun or go for the championship and worry about damaging the bike.? Assuming you have some riding skills excellent tires and OK suspension, the track is the safest enviroment to explore the bikes possibilities, you don't have to go to the limmits to do that. Even though ,I have scratched my pegs and side stand multiple times on totally empty streets. But at the end I understood that it is dangerous and total BS, so I have quit doing it long time ago , and I wouldn't recomend it perhaps even on the track. IMO the basis is to invest in things that will really make you safe, such as way of thinking and mind set-targets and components that make the bike work excellent. instead of someone that will get "money for nothing" and who knows IF and how he will repay if-knock on wood- damage happens. i.e. I would invest 200 quid (or more) for the stickiest tires I could have and then again would go for some fun and not for the championship scratchin pegs and worying about a fall no matter what bike I would use. But that's my and point of view. Best thing of course is to hire a riding session with an instructor who will show you many tips ad trick for riding on track safe.

I use this one and it is fully automatic. It self adusts to the battery needs and when it is fully recharged no problem if it is left on (it switches off alone). In fact as it says in it's manual you can leave it on for days with no problem. have read some of the best reviews in the press and as long as I have used it (2-3 times) it worked flawless. I would recomend it.

Nice Italian BMW, well with a bit of blnd of TDM on the front fairing, At least these people can copy what is popular. Well ,both of these bikes you mention have the same weight, thought the BMW has 200cc more (from the 990 adventure , don't see any other bigger KTM in this class) So why at one occation the BMW is heavy and at the other not..lol. since it lso has good handlng as well. But I bet the Bemmer has better handling and reliability than the KTM in general aspects When then? Multiple choice answers. a.When they run out of the 2V motors they have currently on stock. b.When they finnally develop a 4V engine. c.It is just a rumor, people use to live with rumors and hopes 'till the day that this something perhaps can be true. And if it doesnt , who cares , it was a rumor anyway. d.All the above. e. When the sun will rise from the west

Over here in Athens' Jungle , no hp restrictions , emissions, loundness, modifications or whatsoever(some exist mostly for the pappers or for the "unlucky").Everyone can "feel" "free" to abuse as much as desired. Any ideas for the loudest Guyyi in the world can be taken into consideration, who knows perhaps an entry on the Guiness book. (if so credit will be given to the originator)

AFAIK V11's from 2003 run closed loop. Perhaps Cliff can give us a more indepth sight to that. AFAIK Lambda sensor (in closed loop mode) "snifs" the Co of the exhaust and "tells" the ECU accordingly if it runs richr or leaner so that it will give the correc amount of fuelt to run at the programmed AFR. So if the programmed AFR is , i.e. 14.7 (or what other is for EURO specs) it will tell it to "add" or "remove" fuel to the injectors in order to "sniff" this targeted AFR. Something like auto tuning I assume. Then again correct me if not well described.
