Do a search on harley davidson crinkle paint, a friend of mine used it on his engine still in the frame just by masking off surrounding areas with old newspapers (done outside) and did a very good job. Gary

I have my petrol tank off at the minute and thought i may as well check/ adjust my steering head bearings. I measured the very thin adjusting nut at 32mm (is this a special tool), when i take the upper cap off what should i torque the nut to . has anyone done this before. Gary

A SKIRT, V11s dont wear skirts , I think i know the thing you mean, i got one from forum member "edge ", think he called them a inner mud guard, it keeps the shock clean. Try a search. Gary

Just bought the latest issue of ride magazine, purely because there was a 2 page spread on buying a used V11. just shows the different kinds and what they think ( all favourable) oh and there fave was the tenni (what do they know) . Seems like there is a article on guzzis in every mag every month now.

Hi There is a spacer that goes between the mudguard and swingarm, looking from the back of the bike right hand side nearest the engine I think it is just to keep the mudguard at that side out a touch (maybe it rubs) Gary

Well he said he would phone me when its in but he couldnt confirm a exact date as he couldnt get anyone at guzzi to answer there phones, he has also ordered a new bellagio!, dont know why he hasnt sold the one he,s got. asked if he is getting the new griso, he just said when he sells the old ones he will get new ones (he is hoping people dont realise there is a new engine out. Was in to my local dealer yesterday and he is expecting delivery of a stelvio in 2-3 weeks time.
