  9. The ambulance crew were stupid in that instance, driving 200 miles instead of 12 . these systems are only as good as the info put in. I am still going to get the tomtom rider as its quite cheap. The garmin wont probably come down on price much for a while being so new, I used a garmin system in florida with our hire car and was impressed, it took us everywhere, never once getting us lost, it may have not been the quickest route but unless your local you wouldnt know.   10. Got the same boots Alex, I agree with the comfort thing like wearing slippers. They are really good in the wet as well. i have been caught in a few downpours and feet remained dry, except once when a group of us at the erin rally were caught in a shower i had my boots on over my trousers and they just filled up (ithink they hold 2 gallons each) Gary Just re read the post and when i say caught in shower i do mean of rain

  15. Just checked the garmin website and the garmin zumo 550 for bikes has come out in the uk, maybe take a while for prices to come down (decisions, decisions). The advantages for this unit is it comes with a car mount with built in speaker.
