  4. I think there is 2 versions of the Mg ti cans 00-02 and 03 to 04, Does anyone know what the differences are , and is it ok to fit a early version to a 04 bike. would the ecu be ok with the cat on the crossover Gary

  7. You probably have loose wires under the tank. I did, tightened the connections on the left side (I think from the clutch and/or sidestand) and no more problems Do a search on here and you will find the remedy. End of Quirck Gary

    Hi John I live in Aberdeen, and using any excuse for a hurl could come up so you can take measurements etc. But not for about 3 weeks due to work. my bike has the higher bars so there is maybe room for another master cylinder Gary
  10. Just checked my hoses and there is rubbing/wear against the frame on the right side, Good spot

They look fine to me, I am getting a cardan bar, cover guards and a rear brake cover(rossopuro are waiting on there suppliers to deliver bolts, but its Still the Italian hols )Might get them as well now i have seen them fitted to a bike. I take it they were easy enough to fit. Oh and post a pic when the tail is fitted Gary
  12. I was wondering what you all use to clean your brake caliper, piston etc. I bought a can of STP brake cleaner spray, but it says on the can to "protect rubber parts from spray". Would this damage the brake seals or is there a better product out there that i can safely use Thanks Gary

  14. I have the daytona boots as well and am happy with them. Have you considered alt berg boots, they do a couple of lace up versions, dont know if you get them in the usa though Gary

    Bike lift

    Just went up and bought one cost me £178 (made the stupid mistake of taking the wife and kids ) Macguzzi have you used yours yet!!. I think you need to make something to balance the bike on the stand, I tried it with the wife holding the bike straight put the lift under the sump and it lifted the front wheel only. Obviously needs some fine tuning and some wood for a straight lift (wife was getting fed up and corrie is on). Oh well have to phone the mate. Gary

    Makro in the UK are selling a bike lift in there sale starting on the 16th( the ones that lift the bike from the frame rails or sump) for £39.99, does ayone on here use this type of lift and would you reccomend them. The spec is, lifts 400kg, 900x440x150 and the lifting range is 130mm to 422mm. Seems like a good deal and just what the wife needs for her birthday . Gary
