  1. I have a cafe sport ,that comes with the clear indicators with orange bulbs as standard (but ithink buell use them as well and are a lot cheaper, somone else on here can clarify ). There was also someone on here selling/making sidepanels and pillionseat covers in c/f putting them in ebay, dont know about a hugger but i would not mind one myself in c/f. Gary
  2. Top drives have taken over from rotary tables, kellys and spinning chains (much to dangerous) and are ok till they break down. Anyway weather has vastly improved out here and the pilots are catching up wih the backlog I may get off tonight or in the morning so the mood is better, now going to spend the rest of the time hiding in the engine room with the cats.
  3. called out of bed at 5am to fix a fault on the topdrive (drilling machine on a rig) so was ina basket with the spark 30ft in the air changing out a blower motor with a wind chill 0f -15, not long finished and am in the engine room thawing out surfing the net. after that i am going to plasticise the parts drawings i got from this site and generally be in a bad mood for the rest of the day, especially as my flight is delayed for a couple of days because of the weather and chopper pilots not wanting to do there job.

My local dealer has daytona m stars for £230 .But i was thinking of altbergs anybody here used these type of boots in wet/ cold conditions. Gary

  13. Hi all Have just taken off my front wheel to replace the tyre, Checked the bearings and though they feel ok would like to change them later, They are marked nsk 6205 du, (cant find what du stands for) would a bearing with a low friction seal or a rubber or a steel seal do. Also while i am here i got 2 of the screws holding the mudguard off but the other 2 are rounded off any ideas how to get them off, was thinking of hitting them with abit and impact driver when the wheel is back on but then i realised i may damage the fork doing that so any ideas, comments, suggestions before i dive in would be appreciated Gary
  14. I have a teng tools (3892AG-E3) one with 3/8 drive, the range is 3-18ft.Ib 5-25nm which is handy for not overtightening the smaller nuts/bolts and a bigger 1/2 drive for the rest. Gary
