Have to agree the TT is a must do for every biker, seeing these guys going down bray hill is a sight you will never forget, and the entertainment at night is magic as well, then there is all the bikes parked up along douglas prom. Pure magic. Gary

I would stay in a hotel, my wife is laughing her socks off imagining me putting up and sleeping in a tent and actually finding the place. I want the camping gear for the irish guzzi rally, i imagine it is held in a field so i am going to be a REAL biker and rough it .as long as there is food and beer for sale i,ll survive. No chance of me cooking anything though.

Hi Well i am looking for a tent and a sleeping bag, never bought this stuff before. Can anyone reccomend one that is really easy to put up, is light and does not take up a lot of space on the back of the bike. there is hundreds out there but would like one that has been tried and tested at rallys, tours etc. Thanks Gary
  6. Original is always best, in years to come it will be worth a lot more (what model of HD is the blue and white one) Gary
  7. Moto ecosse did a 6000 mile service for me, The bike certainly run better on the way home than on the way down, they are in ayr, and the owner Mal is guzzi mad. just a quick run up the m6 Gary
  8. Yes i joined in december, I will wait till the next issue of gambalunga (great mag) before i book a ferry, then i will have to sort out a tent, sleeping bag etc. As a matter of interest what is the minimum gear i could take without buying panniers, i have a mg tankbag (ebay) and the bike had a venturer rack on it when i bought it. I have toured on a bike before but always went for the easy option (hotel or B&B ). Gary
