Put the hose clamp onto the filter beside a oil pipe so if the filter wanted to back off the screw on the clamp hits the pipe and stops it from turning. (hope this makes sense).

I have mainly had shoei,s am using a raid2 at the moment , also have a agv airtech with the moto guzzi logo but i cant get on with it, nothing wrong with the helmet, just the shape of my napper. Going to buy the new shoei neotec shortly, like the idea of a sun visor.

Same happened to me on 2 of the screws,I gave the heads a thump with a brass drift and then used a impact driver with a oversize allen head on it and out they came, failing that maybe heat them up.

Well you could be checking the gear linkage is tight on the shaft splines, and all the linkages are clean, free and lubricated. if it isnt that, it could be the spring in the box has stretched/is on its way out, but hopefully its a easy fix. time for some

I used to get oil on top of the bevel box breather after a longish run. i think i had slightly overfilled, now i fill to the bottom of the level hole, no adding a little extra for luck and all is well.

I have 30,000 miles plus with redline, no leaks.

I happen to know of a low milage rossa corsa engine in fife, just a matter of yards away from harrys bike,could be another option.

Does the switch come with the rubber boot That protects the terminals !!!. If not does anybody know the part no. For it, or a suitable alternative, mines has disintegrated with the harsh unforgiving scottish sun beating down on it. Gary

I had to drill out 2 of the mudguard bolts on my bike a while back, seized solid, came out easy enough, but i was sweating thinking of the price if the lugs snapped off!!!. Went over the rest of the bike and lubricated each thread as i got the bolts out, i gave up on a few (oil cooler brackets and a couple of others) will worry about it when i need to take these parts off in the future, but i shouldnt have to it is after all a moto guzzi. Wlfe just taped a programme for me on the travel channel 252. A bloke takes the new norton cafe racer from john o groats to lands end (2 parter). Bike looks the dogs balls as he rides through arid scotland. He then stops for the night at the aultguish inn and sings its praises ( must have new owners then). Put me in the mood for a run out, soon as i fit the water skis to the bike
