  1. Got the same 90 fitted to my rear wheel last tyre change. Tyre fitter has a big box of the things and only charges a couple of quid for them Result.
  2. Didnt Greg Field do the same thing!! to his bike. I seem to remember him modifying a coppa italia but i maybe imagined it.
  3. I will respond to this, i also have had problems with false neutrals not just on my guzzi but my vfr as well and loads of other bikes i have had and i know where the problem lies. Its Me with the roads up here, bend after bend after bend up hill down hill more bends then short straights and twisties as well constantly going up and down the gearbox i sometimes get complacent/lazy with my gearchanges and fluff a few. But thats probably just me, was hankering after a mana (automatic bike) for a while, but will stick with what i have. Gary
  4. Got my ohlin shod bikes forks serviced at 12000 miles. Tech said they were like new. Now on 30000 miles and no issues, so no seal failures to report here Oh and my bikes a keeper as well
  5. ZGUKTB0103M111425 Residing in Scotland since 2005
  6. Thought i would resurrect this thread i am going to change the oil shortly, what oil are you using!!! And does it have a SG rating.
  7. Excellent write up and photos, how is the quota now, still ok!!!
  8. Sounds about right.
  9. Mine are 28mm, between the clamps. Fabulous choice of V11, post photos when you get it. And welcome to the forum
  10. Do you have a screen/fairing fitted, my bike used to rattle and annoy the s:?t out of me. Was the fairing rattling against the headlight, small strip of rubber between them and the silence was deafening (well if you ignore every other noise the bike makes)
  11. Yeah, the clamps are shit! Been meaning to change them - anyone point me to a source for decent quality alternative, so I don't have to find it myself? Thanks. Agreed, would love to replace them as well.
  12. I am using them, look and sound great. You will notice apower difference if you are getting the "race ecu" aswell. This came with the cans when bought new as well as brackets to mount them higher than stock.
  13. Jeez, my bike has done the same miles and i have only replaced the rear wheel bearings I,m bored.
  14. Hey, I'm West of Dunfermline, hope to see you around. And there was me telling myself I was the only one in Scotland! Hi, As Guy says there are a few of us around. fife/lothian area is actually a hotspot for V11,s in Scotland Gary
  15. Mine is still like new, mind you i rarely wear it. Keep it for best.
  16. Keep the revs high, the engine just doesnt like low revs, treat it like a 2 stroke
  17. Jeez, if it wasnt for bad luck you would have none at all. No point in asking you to pick the lottery numbers
  18. On my bike the connectors are on the left side beside the frame when tank is removed. Should just be a case of pushing them in and if you suspect they are loose give them alight crimp with pliers. If you trace the wires from the clutch switch/sidestand and neutral you should find them. Done it myself that long ago i can barely remember
  19. I thought it was taken at the kenbridge hotel meeting a couple of years ago . There was a good line up of V11s there.
  20. I like the header photo, partly because i think i know where it was taken!! And even if i am wrong it still reminds me of good times. As BFG says i cant remember the old one
  21. Wonder if it would be possible to get the levers only and not the rest of the assembly!!!. Probably not that would be to cheap and easy.
  22. Well done Haydn, at last a video of a common question asked
  23. Isnt that the connector for plugging in the axone!!!, Only use when the bikes getting a tune up.
